Unprofessional, unethical, rude employees. I had been a customer of this company since 2018. I purchased a motorcycle from them along with several parts. I decided to store my bike with them this past winter and have them swap out the handlebars. I could've gone someplace closer since they're almost an hour away from me but being a loyal customer I wanted to give them the business. I dropped off the parts I wanted them to replace in January. 14" ape hangers, clutch and brake levers, mirrors, grips, and 4 indicator/running lights that turns out wouldn't work on the bike anyway, and new handlebar control wires because the ones that are on there are no good, and I explained that to them. I already had 12" apes on the bike so the clutch, throttle, and brake cables were already in place. I had to call them a few times and inquire about it and they said they were backed up but they had their top guy working on my bike. I went to pick the bike up on March 21 and the bill for labor was around $940.00 which seemed high to me but I was getting the storage fee back and honestly I'm the type of person who doesn't mind paying extra for professional work. I walked around the bike quick, snapped a picture of it, and payed them. I should've looked the bike over better, that was my mistake, but I never expected a professional Harley Davidson dealership service dept. to leave my handlebar control wires wrapped in exposed electrical tape. They didn't use the new wires I gave them, they didn't solder them, they just ran the old wires through the new bars and wrapped them back up with electrical tape. I called them after I picked it up and explained this to Kyle, I'm not sure what his position is there but he told me he reports directly to the owner. He was very rude, and didnt seem like he cared about listening to me at all. He'd become irritated every time I said something he didn't want to hear. Every point I tried to make he responded with "I understand that, but...". When I asked what happened to the wires I dropped off and said those cable kits are expensive he replied very rudely "I know how much they cost". He told me he would call me back which he didn't so I called him. He said they would replace the wires he just wasn't sure when. He even said "It may have to be when this coronavirus s*** is over". Which is weird because their service dept. Is still open for business. I get emails saying despite what's goin on the service dept. is open and to give them a call. He told me he'd give me a call in a few days, again no word from him so I called them back almost a week later. Again I spoke with Kyle who told me they're still backed up but they are waiting for a day when they can get me in and out so I dont have to leave the bike there. Bull. That's convenient for them not me and it makes no sense. And since they did such a hack job on my bike it should be a priority, ya know because I've already paid them for the labor, or maybe because I'd spent around $1400.00 total in storage, parts and labor since January of this year. Maybe because I'm the one who has to take the time to ride it back out there now. Why should I have to wait around for when its convenient for them to finally complete the work I've already payed them for? I'm still working so what if they call me and I can't make it, or the weather is crappy and I cant ride up there? None of this was takin into consideration. It was just we did an unprofessional s*** job on your bike and we have your money but we'll fix it when we get around to it, if that's not ok with you then to bad. When I tried to explain this to Kyle he again said "I understand that, but". At that point I lost my temper and actually had to yell to get him to stop talking over me. I asked for my money back but he was adamant that even though they didnt have to run the clutch, throttle, break cables and they didnt even solder and clean up the wires it took them 13 hours to swap out handlebars, levers, grips, mirrors, 1 turn signal housing, and they swapped out my turn signals with LED plug ins which probably takes about 10 minutes. And he said they did me a favor by only charging me 10 hours for labor. What a joke. If it took them 13 hours to do that work they have the slowest techs on the planet. I asked to speak with the owner and Kyle told me the owner wasn't there and that he pays him to deal with stuff like this. Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. They didn't care that they did a half a** job and didn't care about fixing it. I have pictures I'll be posting of how they left my bike. Avoid this company. read more
