I can honestly say that these guys are the best I have ever worked with. When I first called I told Morgan that I was in a bind, she was kind enough to explain to me how her and the team can help me out. She made an appointment for me to see Marcie, the in-house graphic designer. Things only got better, I got there and Morgan explained to me all of my options based on my criteria, pricing (which by the way was very very very fair), paper stock, design options and etc..... Then she introduced me to Marcie, and I have dealt with a lot of graphic designers, but man was she on her game. She listened and understood where I was going with my design perspective. I wish I had gotten with these guys a month before because not only did my catalog come out great, but if we had spent even more time then I could only imagine the possibilities. The owner who I briefly spoke with was such a great guy as well (buy them MACS I say)!! And the gentleman who printed my work was so nice and down to earth. I am a wildlife photographer with a small business. Last year, I ordered note cards through an online printing company and I was very satisfied with the results in the end, but I did have to reorder a few sets of note cards due to color issues. This year, my sister convinced me to give Minuteman Press a try. They are close, convenient, I can easily view proofs, and there is no shipping charge. The only downside is not having an easy, online template available. However, the effort in creating one is worthwhile. Going through Minuteman, I was able to save .30 per card on my order compared to the company I used last year. Not only was I able to save a significant amount of money, I also received a great deal of assistance from Michael, the salesperson, and from Daniel, the creative consultant. I am still somewhat new to the world of print, and their patience with me as I learn is hugely appreciated. I am a big proponent of supporting local businesses, as well as businesses that use eco-friendly practices, both of which align well with my own business model. Love it, Love them. I live all the way in Seattle but still order my printing from Minuteman Press in Redmond. I haven't found anyone who can beat their great quality and prices. The staff is super friendly , professional, and accomodating. Recently I drove up, the weather was lousy....rainy and terrible traffic. As I was driving up, I was gettin' worried that i wouldn't make it there on time cuz i had to make a couple of stops. I called. They were nice to let me come on in even though i got there like 15 minutes after they closed, to let me put my order in. I think that was the coolest thing. The prices are outrageously better than 3-4 other printing prices that I checked on the internet. Since my order was fairly large, they also gave me a break on the bundle package...which was like 15% off. Hey, every bit helps! Greg helped me with my order. I have worked with many print shops over the years, and Minuteman Press is my new favorite. Their designers were easy to work with, and flexible. The turnaround was fast, and print quality was excellent. I will be sending them my business for the foreseeable future. To be specific, color matching and rendering vector art into print can be tricky, as there are different applications that can be used which don't always translate smoothly into print (Inkscape svg files for instance). Minuteman Press would easily fool you into thinking it's no big deal (because they know how to communicate and work the process to produce the results that they hear you asking for). We had a crisis on our hand with the Indian dance recital 2 days away and not ready with our brochure. In addition, we had two different viewpoints on how to get the brochure in the right format. We found the entire team at Minuteman very symphathatic, understanding and caring. When the formating was not correct they spent more than an hour getting it right and also got it done in time. Everyone was very helpful, professional and went beyond their call of duty to help us out. The brochures were high quality. I had ordered business cards from Vistaprint online with plans of them arriving before my business opened...AAAND what happened? They didn't arrive in time. So, I came to Minuteman Press in Redmond the day before my business opening, and Craig just told me "Well we better get you those cards today!" I gave them graphics, colors, and font types I liked and within the afternoon the design was made far better than I even imagined it, and 500 cards were beautifully printed and in my hands.
