She was very sweet. I waited for my dirty chai to be done. Another customer came in and first lady stopped and took his order. My drink was ready after that and was handed to me by the First Lady. I said thank you with a big smile, because, it's a beautiful day, I'm off work and looking forward to sitting outside, drinking coffee and reading my new book. Skipped the Unicorn drinks , put my big girl pants on and tried an adult coffee shop. Real Italian coffee. Very impressed. Great, chic vibes. Love the decor, the art throughout the establishment is a nice touch. They turned an old Compass bank into a coffee shop and did a great job of using the space. Turning the old bank vault into a mini art gallery. Enjoyed the variety of drinks and milk options, although I was disappointed not to see my favorite Matcha on the menu. Coming to the new Memorial Minuti brick and mortar location was an experience to remember. The gelato was delightful as their owner Ardavan Motamedi. As a 3rd generation in the coffee distribution business and 38 years experience in retail he decided to create a coffee retail shop concept,a roasting company from Modena Italy. His father and grandfather were even coffee roasters in Northern Italy.Talk about keeping it in the family. We tried their freshly made croissants and latte .The croissant was served gently heated with flaky layers that melted in your mouth. The latte served was robust and flavorful . This new coffee cafe quickly moved up to the top of our café favorites and will definitely be back!!! read more

I am a coffee snob, Starbucks is a life sucking experience. Minuti coffee legit, was with family and had affogado and it reminded me of a coffee shop or sweet ago in Rome. Yes that sounded bourgie but it's not just espresso shot with a scoop of ice cream. It was loaded with goodies and could be shared with your friends and family which it did. Buongiorno! Italian coffee goodness, and the wonderful chain that is Minuti has finally landed in the Memorial area. Not too far from City Center (I've even made the walk from city center to this location), you'll find the Italian chain I've learned to love. Compared to other locations in Houston, I found this one to be quite big. There is parking throughout the shopping center, and you'll find seating in the front patio, inside, and even behind the shop. This Minuti is unique compared to others, since it even has a little small art museum attached to it. The staff is very friendly, and you have tons of options to chose from. In my experience, the chai latte is a specialty for these folks. Minuti and chai lattes just go hand in hand. Various milk options for your coffee or tea, little snack items, croissants, and sandwiches as well. During our most recent visit, the staff was friendly as well. They have Wi-Fi (with a two hour limit), and this is a great spot to study or work. We ordered a hot moka, a vanilla shakerato, and of course, an iced chai latte. Gorgeous Italian cafe and amazing coffee. If you enjoy shaken espressos I highly recommend their Shakeratos available in various flavors. Extremely friendly staff and many beverages and food to choose from. So glad I stopped by on my way thru Katy. Great seating both inside and outside if you're wanting to enjoy the weather & also a lovely spot for work, study, to take a friend, or just peaceful alone time. I sat in my car for a few minutes looking over the menu since I had never been to Minuti before. I walked in and the barista was very helpful in recommending things for me to try. I asked for a cafe gelato, it was delicious! I paired it with a vanilla pastry that had vanilla custard inside. The place was very clean, there weren't many customers at this time. I'm considering returning to work a few hours at this establishment. The music was very relaxing as well. Will definitely be going back. Minuti Coffee has been my go-to coffee place for quite a while before I decided to reduce my caffeine intake. I was definitely addicted to their iced latte, I would have religiously every day of the week and sometimes twice a day. I also enjoyed their dirty chai, but I would only have it sporadically because of all the sugar and you can't order it without it unfortunately. (So there's a little tip for the owners, please add sugar free milk options!) I prefer this place over many others, and if I ever feel like returning to my daily coffee routine, Minuti will be my first choice. read more

They have a happy hour which is nice. My coffee was $2 which is super rare nowadays. I've gotten used to paying $6+ for a coffee. Very good coffee might I add. I enjoy the music here, romantic italian. Unfortunately I wanted to study here but there's only 3 spots with outlets and 1 is reserved for parties 2+. There's multiple tables that indicate they are only for parties 2+, which I find weird and uninviting for a coffee shop. Also, the WIFI is only available for 2 hours max. So not very study friendly. I have been on a years search to find the greatest Chai Latte and found it at this location ONLY!!! I've been to several Minuti locations and this one does it right.The people here know how to make their coffee and the chai tastes like actual chai which is phenomenal when done correctly. In the past I've noticed at other locations that if they don't put enough espresso it becomes too sweet or if they add too much espresso it becomes bitter and overpowered where you can't even taste the chai. I've never have that problem at the Minuti at Memorial since going there. Sometimes parking can be difficult depending on the time of day but it's worth it to have the consistency I crave in good coffee and wonderful customer service. The bathrooms are clean and the Memorial location has tall ceilings that make it feel much more open and inviting. The owner needs to stop being cheap and fix the ac. The staff is always kind and attentive, but they shouldn't have to make excuses for a penny pinching owner. The location is great, but the owner needs some lessons in customer service--here's a couple lessons for free: 1. Fix the freaking ac. Customers don't want to sweat while drinking coffee. 2. I arrived at this place thinking what a nice place. I sure have a good coffee here. The service was good but too fast for my taste (being that you are not in a fast food place and you are not looking for that). I requested a coffee of the day to be able to taste the flavors (which it indicated it had). Obviously I thought that by eating on site and telling the employee that I would receive a porcelain cup. Drinking a good signature coffee in a disposable glass is sacrilege and it is the first thing that caught my attention. The photo shows the coffee they served me, no foam...not signature. I also ordered a menu for my son that they never told me came with potato chips (that is, straight from a bag). The worst thing is that the napkins they give you to clean yourself come under the food (I think they don't think about it). Anyway, first visit (unusual) and last. If you're looking for a place to work, this is not it. They discourage it. The many signs around (every table that's not a 2-top) will make you feel awkward. It feels very corporate and stale. A step up from Starbucks but not a quaint comfy coffee shop. With your purchase you are given a Wi-Fi code. I was kicked off after 2 hours and despite having made another purchase, could not get back on. The coffee and food were fine but nothing to brag on. If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. The owner of this establishment was extremely rude and unprofessional to me. I came in later in the day, closer to closing time, when there was hardly anyone there, to study and asked if it would be okay to sit in a booth after i purchased my coffee and was told that there was a minimum of 2-3 people for where I wanted to sit but that it would be okay. Mind you, this is a coffee house, not a 5 star restaurant. The owner proceeds to walk out and tell me that I actually cannot be sitting here and would need to leave when more customers came. Again there was hardly anyone in this establishment and it was almost closing time. Telling someone, who is also a customer, that they would need to get up if other people came, was just unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous and as someone who already has a hard time being comfortable alone in public this was just such a disheartening experience. I will never feel comfortable coming back to this establishment after this encounter and will be gladly taking my business elsewhere to other places that allow people to sit where they'd like. My new, good friend Adaman, the president of this 12-store Minuti coffee empire, is a master barista. He should be - coffee has been in his veins and his blood for three generations. His education began as a child traveling with his dad and grandfather on business trips to Italy learning the coffee culture.; business, etc. They were and various other businesses but that's another story for another time. Here's what sets Minuti apart for me: - I inhabit his flag ship store at 12649 Memorial Dr. It's spotless, the landscaping on the front patio is inviting, and his associates are invariably pleasant and helpful. They even bring your order to you from behind the counter. How often do you experience that at other coffee shops?... Maybe never? - do you despise cold coffee the way I do? And after you pay $3.50, if you want another cup, you have to pay another $3.50. I'm willing to pay a little more for a bottomless cup. Unfortunately, it's really offered. For starters, Minuti's coffee cups and mugs are always hot and stay warm much longer than the norm. -Another challenge for me is the we-only-have-paper-cups stores. I know they're less expensive, but for me, it completely lowers the experience from something special to something common place. Edmund and Eudy, of course they have paper cups if you want them and they gladly give you to go if you ask. So... If you like a special place; with special well -roasted coffee beans from Italia; in a store that has well-trained associates, along with gelato and some other tasty sandwiches and things to eat... I love Minuti, sadly, they have this rule that some tables are "reserved" for groups of 2 or more people. I totally respect that, if only they enforced this rule on EVERYONE. I wasn't able to sit to enjoy my coffee and food today while working because they only had super small tables available when CLEARLY, there were groups of One people occupying the larger tables. Love this Minuti location. Came in to grab some coffee and gelato for the kids. I opted to try the godfather. The barista explained what it was and asked if I wanted it in a paper or ceramic cup. I chose paper because I thought I wouldn't be there long, but did need a place to sit comfortably while waiting for the wife. We sat at the table and the manager noticed. He recommended me to try it in a ceramic cup to taste the layered flavors of the godfather and had one made free of charge. He was right, the godfather tasted great in the ceramic.
