Good lash place. Retention is good and lashes look nice but every time I go the guy that does my lashes comments that I should really try using a lash serum because my lashes are so short and fine. Great service and Nana is just so helpful and patient. She explained to me different types of lashes and recommended different ones for my look. The whole process was very relaxing and I fell asleep. Yup it was that great! More importantly, the lashes lasted for at least three months at pretty much full volume. They really did not fall easily at all. Hello my yelpers! Yall good? Yall alright? Okay good! Okay, so Mio lashes service and environment is nice, relaxing , and calm. My first experience was with Jay. He was nice and gentle. However, next day some lashes came off. They had no problem fixing them for me though. However, let me tell yall why I gave them 2 stars. A few days later about 10 lashes fell off. They told me this time they can fix for me, but not next time due to it being a week later. I was totally fine with that. However, this time I didn't feel they actually fixed them. Just picked around them and brushed them out because I still see the same gaps. They just picked at my lashes to make me feel like they were doing something, but like I said it literally still is the same after the ones fell out. I didn't feel right either because they were also being rude (I feel Jay wasn't trying to be by not responding fully to the other technician) but they were talking over me in their language; which was obvious they were talking about me and I didn't like that. It was rude and made me feel uncomfortable (because first off what yall saying cuz yall speak good english so why not still speak it, lol) & another reason why I felt they literally didn't do anything. Then Jay said my face is oily from make up. Boom! Don't wear that! Soooo my guy let me know is the lashes not for me boo booooo! They were cool though. I guess I just have an oily face and cannot be baddies like the rest of yall with the lashes. Idk yall, but check them out for yall selves. My cousin didn't have a problem, only just one hung down, but easy fix for her. Update: the manager did reach out again and apologized that the language barrier caused me discomfort. I truly wish I could've written a review from my 1st time visit with Daisy because I had an amazing experience with my lashes then (2 weeks ago) Unfortunately, today's visit to Mio Lash was one of the most awful services I've had in the lash business and so I must share my story. I should've read the reviews before purchasing the deal on groupon because I would have asked for Daisy again or Nana. Made an appointment for 3:15 with Eva. I came in a few minutes earlier and upon entering, I was greeted by the front desk and asked to check in the ipad. Then immediately was told to follow Eva? Right from the start she did not make me feel welcomed or introduced herself or have any sort of professionalism when it comes to client relations. Rather she would speak down to me, not really listening to my requests but quick to interrupt and talk over me. I finally decided I wanted a refill w/ hybrid add-on and once she laid me down I knew it was going be bad because of her cold demeanor and how she was telling me to open/close my eyes sounding so harsh and crude (while sighing so obnoxiously like I was such a burden to her!) After she taped down my right eye, I felt her cutting some lashes so roughly, which was odd because originally during the consultation she mentioned only adding on lashes but not removing. A couple minutes after that, I felt a burning sensation on my eye. I told her it feels like its burning like when some glue gets in, and she scoffed and snarkly said she hasn't even put any lashes on yet, it's impossible and showed me the mirror. By this time I was already annoyed, frustrated and asked to cancel the whole appointment because I was uncomfortable with the whole thing from the beginning. She said okay with a sense of relief then forcefully removed the bottom eyepad and tape then I walked out after expressing my complaints and concerns to I believe the owner, Nana. I honestly now know that they care all about money because I told them I had a $50 budget for 2 week refill which would've matched their price list, but that's besides the point. First off, it's not okay to make me feel less of a customer because I came in with a budget, that is disrespectful. Second, you are dealing with people's eyes, which are extremely sensitive for some and I am not one to sit still and not say anything if I am uncomfortable and uneasy about how she was treating me the whole entire time! No sense of remorse or common courtesy, didn't even get an apology. It was a nightmare!!!!!!!!! read more

I've been here twice. 1st time phenomenal. Experience was tailor fit to my needs. Amazing quiet environment. 2nd time I had to use another tech bc the first one unfortunately has been out. I went with another tech. And 8 days later one eye is completely fallen out. Didn't start falling until 5 days after service. Die to limitations in my schedule and availability of quality techs there, I could come in until 1.5 week later. I explained what happened and was advised that I can't get a discount bc I reached to max time frame which I think is 3 days to get free fix. Needless to say, I won't make the 1.5 visit bc now I have none on one eye. And I have to remove the other eye lashes from me right eye on my own. Bc they are closed. Ugh. The staff there is very friendly, the salon is clean and welcoming. But my lashes looked just okay. This was the first time I had my lashes done and they started falling out within a couple of days.
