That said, I wanted to leave this review because of my shock over a recent review. My experience with Longmi has been overall very positive. I will say, on a business level, the owner has some things to work out, but from a technician standpoint, Tara has been fabulous. I have developed a slight allergy to the glue (btw- NOT uncommon and I know this from my line of work) and she has worked diligently with me to solve the problem and help it. I get compliments all the time on my lashes and due to my travel, have had to have fills in other states and not ONCE has anyone stated that my current lashes were incorrectly adhered or a problem. Due to the fact that the owner runs very short handed, appointments are at a premium. If you miss yours, it might take awhile to get back in. This isn't a technician problem. Plan accordingly! Disastrous attempts at plucking throughout high school? That was my emergency. So I gave her a shot and oh I'm so glad I did! When untamed, my eyebrows are seriously out of control and I start to look like my very italian Dad who, you know, looks fine with those eyebrows because he's not a nineteen year old girl. Heidi told me I had very difficult brows and then proceeded to work magic on them to the point where, on the drive home, I couldn't stop checking myself out in the rear view mirror and nearly ran into a bus. Safe! But seriously, they are perfect. The salon is adorable, very welcoming. There's parking on the street all around, even on a Saturday, and no meters. I was offered a drink the second I stepped foot in the door and didn't have to wait at all even though I was twenty minutes early. The waxing itself was extremely comfortable and basically pain free, and they use all natural and organic products so my overly sensitive skin doesn't freak the hell out a few hours after waxing. I moved back to Minneapolis from Scottsdale, Arizona, three years ago and was in need of hair services. You all know how difficult it is to find that great stylist you can stick with so I asked my sister where she goes and she referred me to Betsy. Betsy was at Cole's Salon when I first starting receiving services from her. From my first service, I was so impressed at how fast and accurate she was with what I requested. From that point on I was sold! She now has her own private boutique salon at Sola Salon. I love going there because it is super cute and cozy and you can drink wine while getting your hair done! I get bored with my hair color from time to time, so I like to try different things and Betsy is great at suggesting what she thinks would work and I have never been disappointed!
