I returned after having a rough experience last time I got a haircut in Late May 2025. I had a different stylist and it made a whole difference. She made sure to start at the beginning of what I wanted and followed through what I requested. The salon is very nice and open spaced. So, my initial hair appointment went great. Ashley did a fantastic job revitalizing and coloring my hair, and she was very kind. However, I'm pretty disappointed in the fact that I wasn't able to get my hair extensions done. I scheduled this about a month in advanced and it was the thing I was most excited about. The line of colors was apparently not even available, and no one thought about checking in with that company to learn more about the products before selling them to their customers? Seems a bit unprofessional and now I won't have time to find another salon to do them before my vacation. It really ruined my day, and honestly I'm pretty sad about it. I probably won't schedule another appointment. ** UPDATE: The owner of the company contacted me directly, via text by the way (real professional) and was super rude about everything. Saying things like: "I just can't make you happy because you want something I can't give you." Umm... YOUR EMPLOYEE SOLD IT TO ME. LIKE, WHAT?! Also - She claims that they don't refund tips lol... where is that stated on your website?! Don't see it anywhere on your Salon Policies page. And Nikki, the owner, I'm speaking to you directly: that's fine that you don't want to take any accountability whatsoever. The BBB has been contacted since you refuse to give back the rest of my refund. Don't tip ahead of time at this salon, folks. Before I even went in I discussed with the stylist what I wanted done and she said she could do that to my hair Unfortunately when I got my hair done it didn't even look like anything had changed besides it having even more breakage after the color and hair cut I drove about a hour and a half to get my hair done here and when I emailed the salon the only thing they could offer was for me to drive all the way back I ended up going to another salon and had to have 11 inches of hair cut off because of the damage from salon elite this all happened right after everything opened back up from the covid shut down I am not one to write a bad review but I am still really upset that they couldn't refund money because all my hair had to be cut off. read more

This was my first experience at Salon Elite and from the time I scheduled my appointment, to when I arrived and to the time I left, my experience was awful. I scheduled my appointment several days out at a time that worked for me, then received a phone call the night before offering one alternative slot time for the entire day, as my original was double booked. I then arrived five minutes early, and ended up waiting almost 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. My stylist asked me what I wanted, then cut me off to speak to a different client. My cut was not what I wanted. It was uneven and not enough was taken off. The environment was not relaxing, but more stressed and rushed. They price was not what I was given over the phone when scheduling my appointment. I will not be returning due to the negative experience and service. read more

Alexis was everything Nikki promised she would be. After a less than satisfying visit my last visit (my first at Salon Elite), I reached out to Nikki (owner). I wasn't expecting anything, but did want her to know what had transpired. Nikki went out of her way to listen to my comments, and do everything she could to make it right. She was so apologetic and asked me to come try it again, with Alexis. Alexis was great. Smiled, laughed, took the time to talk about what i was thinking. I'm a salon in portland Oregon and. And just so happen to come across your yelp, and I read the one about the girl that was unhappy with her color and you explain she went from black to blonde. I'm really sorry she gave you a one star review over something that was out of your control. scientifically chemically you cannot alter what hair is going to do especially if it starts out that dark. It's called chemistry. Well that sucks and I'm sorry you're going through that and I hope if somebody else reads my review they will see that the review for the one star is a ridiculous review. It's also very unreasonable. I can tell that they did explain to her in the beginning just based off how they were talking in the review. That is exactly what hair goes through. I've actually learned through my career I don't take people from black to blonde anymore because it goes through so many orange and red stages that it's frustrating for the hairdresser. But more than that a hairdresser just wants to make people happy. And think somehow they'll perform a miracle this time. But the reality is hair is not going to pull that black out to a become blonde. read more

I chose to see Alexis at Salon Elite and couldn't be any happy that I did! I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair. I saw three different stylists at three very high end salons and all three of them did not listen to what I was trying to achieve with my hair. Alexis truly listened and made sure she understood the look I was going for. Not only did she have to fix the color of my hair but she also fixed the appearance of the damage. First experience with Salon Elite and it was great! They worked me in the same day I called. I was greeted upon entering and was checked-in immediately and offered water, tea, soda, coffee, etc. I waited less than 3 minutes for Sarah. She took time to clarify my expectations regarding my haircut and brow wax. She wasn't comfortable using the type of wax I needed due to my skin sensitivities so she checked pior to starting and made sure the esthetician could get me in while I was there. Sarah was very pleasant and did a great job on my trim and answered a few hair-care questions. She was also sensitive to my pensive mood and didn't press for conversation the latter part of my appointment. The esthetician was also wonderful and clarified my brow shape with me and made sure I was satisfied. While checking out there was a miscommunication about the cost of one of the services but the front desk staff handled it very professionally! Overall it was a wonderful experience! I think Yelp may have the price-estimate a little off because this is one of the more expensive salons I have seen, especially with the prices for waxing. But I don't think you'll be disappointed by Salon Elite! 20% discount for new clients. (I was also given a welcome bag with coupons for future services as well as referral cards.) The salon is beautiful and my hair dresser was very nice. However I went in for a balayage and an ashes out brown. My hair turned out being very brassy and the transition to the extent color was very choppy. My hair dresser asked her manager a lot of questions on how to do certain things which made me feel really uncomfortable on her coloring abilities:/ read more
