Barak has claimed that they did not violate the lease by entering the apartment without giving us notice. Fortunately, I still have a copy of my old lease and I'm attaching a photo of the section that clearly states "Further, during the last (3) months of the Term of this Lease, Landlord may enter the Unit to show the Unit to prospective tenants, upon giving 24 hour notice." UPON GIVING 24 HOUR NOTICE And I am also surprised that Barak claims that Blue Egg doesn't allow people to apply remotely because when I found the unit on Craigslist, the ad specifically said they work with people who are currently living out of state. That's actually one of the reasons why I applied and throughout the process, the agents assured me that it was no problem to complete the process remotely. It seems like Blue Egg relies on that because it makes it easier to take advantage of people. Also, the pictures I saw on the ad were of common spaces in the unit and when I requested photos of the room, and I even requested dimensions, the agents kept saying they would send them soon but of course, they never did. Kate would tell me that Elizabeth would send them, Elizabeth said Kaye would send them. It was either a conspiracy or total lack of communication but both are unacceptable. I understand that no company is perfect but Blue Egg does not take responsibility for their mistakes and instead, they put the blame on the clients. Also, I don't even know who Barak is so I'm not sure why he is claiming to know so much about my specific situation since he wasn't even a part of it. Your move, Blue Egg.

The landlord and property management were unresponsive and it took a huge amount of effort to get them to fix the problems we were having in the apartment, which included water damage and mold from the A/C units. When they did eventually send maintenance to fix things, they often didn't address the root issue or the maintenance people wouldn't show up. We kept finding new examples of mold and water damage in the unit and building, and eventually we moved out because of it after realizing some of the health issues we'd had while living there were related to the mold issue. All in all a pretty upsetting experience.
