Regal Group does not seem to be concerned about your health…read more #1 They have a very small pool of specialists; expect to wait 3-6 months for an appointment with one. #2 Regarding authorizations, Regal Group will list the Department's name (e.g., "Neurology"), but won't commit to the Doctor's name or the sub-specialty. I'm sure they have their reasons for doing that. If you have three issues, you'll be at a loss figuring out what your authorization is for. #3 Watch for the Doctor's name and the respective Clinic's name. When you complain, they will refer you to the same Doctor but under another Clinic's name. #4 They referred to a Neuro Psychologist who takes only Down Syndrome patients #4 They are now recycling their referrals and trying to send me 90 miles away. I would not be surprised if I got referred to the other side of the hemisphere to discourage me from seeing the doctor.
