Then my husband went to SoundWorks on Randol Mill Rd and really liked it, so I decided to try it. SO glad I did. Joe Morales is awesome - professional, personable and knows his stuff. For the last month I have been wearing Oticon aids and really love them. I look forward to putting them on in the morning so I can hear and then I pretty much forget I have them on until time for bed. Joe has adjusted the aids so that I can hear what I want and need to hear but am not deafened by extraneous noises. And you would not know I'm wearing them unless you looked very closely. Hearing better has been a life changer for me.

The lady I spoke to told me the type of battery I needed, I already have that battery installed. So she made and appointment for this Thursday. I feel as if I have been taken advantage of due to the poor customer service and bad attitude. Beltone doesn't have weekend hours and the office isn't open on Wednesday. If this is the type of service Beltone provides then save your money and just buy a cone and put it to your ear. Because that is probably going to be better anything that Beltone can provide. I am going to inform the BBB and let them know about this practice. This is shameful to treat seniors in such a way.

They charge for wax filters, we programming your​ aid, and even fishing a dome out of your ear. I do not like their business model and will not use them again nor recommend them for this reason. Their prices are high, and I do not like being nickled and dimed. There are other providers who will provide full service (excluding the post-warranty repairs) for the life of the aid.​​

The best thing I can say about Mr. Chappell is that he does not lack confidence in his knowledge of and skills with hearing aids. Also based on further research, Kurt Chappell is a Audiology Technician/Hearing Aid Dispenser, not an Audiologist (AuD)! I came in needing and wanting to purchase hearing aids for my friend and left after hearing Mr. Chappell's negative comments about audiologists responsible for the hearing aid reviews and recommendations appearing in "Consumer Reports," "Forbes Health Advisory Board," and "Home Media Product Review." He, also, was very critical of all hearing aids ordered/purchased on the Internet and several specific brands purchased on line. Even though we informed Mr. Chappell that we had no interest in purchasing hearing aids on line, he told us that he had never heard of anyone who purchased hearing aids on the Internet who was satisfied with them. I responded that there were many online, positive reviews from individuals who had purchased hearing aids on line and offered to bring him some of them. At this point, he stood up and started to leave the room. As this was occurring, I informed Mr. Chappell that we would not be purchasing hearing aids from him and I would prepare an on-line review of our experiences at the Chappell Hearing Care Center. His final comments to me as he left the room were a terse "Don't threaten me." Since our unpleasant experiences with this Audiologist Technician/Hearing Aid Dispenser, we have found a local Audiologist who provided us far better service than we received from Mr. Chappell, bought a pair of hearing aids from him, and are very pleased to no longer be dealing with Mr. Chappell! For individuals seeking hearing aids and quality customer service, I recommend avoiding Mr. Chappell and finding a more patient friendly, unbiased Audiologist or Audiology Technician to trust with your hearing aids and, ultimately, your sense of hearing.

I give this 1 star due to unethical practices of Audiology Hearing Aid Center in Euless. In…read moreDecember 2024 I had met my deductible and OOP, so my insurance paid 100% of the billed allowable for my hearing aids. My insurance EOB said I owed zero. Audiology Hearing Aid Center tried to collect the difference in the amount they billed and what the insurance paid. It's called balance billing the patient and not legal Fast forward to today. I lost one of my hearing aids so I pulled out my paperwork from Audiology Hearing Aid Center to see what the replacement warranty is. Per the written document from them, the warranty is 3 years for damage or loss and the deductible is $500. I spoke to another provider today and found out the actual deductible with Signia for loss of a hearing aid is $400; not $500 and the warranty is 4 years, not 3. If you have insurance, only agree to pay what your insurance says you owe.
