Our dog ate a fairly new hearing aid which I chose to purchase online to save money. This is a service they state as being free to program on their website yet we were charged over $600 to have it done. He also had a little tantrum and stormed out stating he didn't have time to replace the receiver wires and made us come back for another appointment. This takes less than five minutes. It left my child without being able to hear for too long. Since we had purchased the same exact hearing aid all he had to do was plug them in to her current settings on the computer but apparently felt we needed to be punished for purchasing elsewhere so we were excessively charged for the ten minute appointment. I have made multiple attempts to clear up this overcharge and they will not return my phone calls or emails. I have had to contact the Better Business Bureau. They clearly are more about money than helping folks to hear better. I would steer clear of this practice.

But I sure lucked out when I secured an appointment with Commonwealth Ear, Nose and Throats specialists. It took me a week to find someone to even see to my problem. How fortunate I was to be scheduled almost promptly with Dr. Julie Kerr. Nor only is she above excellent in her chosen field, she is compassionate and kind.
