I just had an amazing haircut with David! I live in LA but he gave me one of the best haircut I've ever had. Also totally love the low key and chill vibe of the place... no pressure, no sales, just a great haircut in a relaxing place. I will definitely be back!

Jayna doing a great job on cut and color as always!

Jayna is such a great hair stylist and colorist! Love going to her to get my hair done. Best in Duluth

We followed Jayna Kim to Miracle Hair Salon. She's does a great job cutting and styling my fiancee's hair.

My fiancee loves her hair stylist, Jayna Kim, so much that she followed Jayna from her former salon, At Hair Salon (https://www.yelp.com/biz/at-hair-salon-duluth), to nearby Miracle Hair Salon. Jayna started at Miracle on Saturday, August 17, 2019. She is one of the stylists to leave At Hair Salon for Miracle Hair Salon. Miracle has been around since at least 2011, but it's currently under new ownership/management with Jayna and her popular crew, CY Lee and Bobby. You can find Miracle next to the old Arte 3 and soon-to-be Boba Tea Tok space, also very close to Seo Ra Beol (one of my favorite Korean restaurants in town). The staff here all appear to be Korean as do much of the clientele. K-pop music plays in the background and Jayna and her team all look like beautiful, stylish, and trendy K-pop idols. This is a Korean hair salon and the stylists know how to work with Asian hair and make it look good. The staff speaks both Korean and English. The menu during my visit was as follows (starting prices shown): * Men's haircut - $25 * Women's haircut - $35 * Boy's haircut (age 10 and under) - $20 * Girl's haircut (age 10 and under) - $30 * Regular perm - $75 * Digital perm - $150 * Straight perm - $200 * Lovely magic (haircut not included) - $200 * Color (single procession) - $85 * Highlight - $100 * Balayage / Ombre - $150 * Deep treatment (haircut not included) - $60 * Keratin treatment - $150 Cash tips are preferred so remember to bring cash. The prices above are almost exactly the same as At Hair Salon's prices in late 2016. Jayna's prices seem to have hardly changed over the years. My fiancee has been seeing Jayna for almost three years now (since February 2017). Over that time, Jayna has been the only person to cut her hair. Over the years, Jayna has gotten to know my fiancee's preferences and style. After every appointment, my fiancee comes home feeling great, full of confidence and vitality. She asks me, "Don't you love how great my hair looks?" with a big smile on her face. And I have to agree, it always looks magnificent! Very bouncy and flowy, attractive, and best of all, very healthy-looking. It sits well and makes her look gorgeous. Jayna consistently does a wonderful job. Personality-wise, Jayna is quiet and very sweet (a lot of stylists can be chatty; nothing wrong with that). Sometimes, my fiancee doesn't know what kind of style she wants, so she trusts Jayna and lets Jayna decide. Jayna will cut and style according to my fiancee's face shape and hair texture. Jayna will ask simple questions about hair length, layering, and parting preferences and she goes from there. One thing my fiancee really likes is that Jayna doesn't use too much product when styling her hair. For example, her hair is touchable and doesn't feel sticky and/or crunchy afterwards. Hair product brands used include, but are certainly not limited to, Kenra, Wella, and Goldwell. At a standard haircut appointment, they first wash my fiancee's hair. Then, when they sit her down, not one, but two workers (Jayna and one of her assistant stylists) professionally blow-dry her hair. What a lot of salons will do is wash your hair and cut it while it's wet, but at Miracle, they dry it first, then cut. Each standard haircut appointment for my fiancee typically takes about 40 minutes. So far, it has been pretty easy to book an appointment here. I recommend booking at least a few days to a week in advance. Note the salon is closed on Tuesdays. Thank you, Jayna!

Love my new haircut by Jayna! She is beautiful, patient and professional. Highly recommend!!!

I was ready to chop off my hair to shoulder length. Because I have pin straight hair, I knew having hair this length would require styling everyday. After much research, I knew that I wanted a perm. At Miracle Hair Salon, I had Bobby as my hairstylist. He cut my hair with such precision, and the perm turned out fantastic! Best of all, he was very patient in teaching me how to care for my hair and style it with such ease to look its best. I love this salon so much that I'm going to become a regular. I've already scheduled a visit to return in two months to trim my hair and perm the fresh ends. See you soon, Miracle Hair Salon!

I scheduled two weeks in advance at Miracle Hair Salon for a balayage, I debated if I was going to do this again because I was trying not to spend $$ but in the end, I said YOLO haha. The person who I usually go to was booked for months and I almost changed my mind again. I decided to come here because of Jayna. I remember her at At Hair a few years back. She's so popular, especially for hair cuts. However, I wanted a balayage so decided to do it. On a Thursday morning, right at 10 am when the salon opens is my appointment. It was interesting watching the process here for my hair. Since I've had my hair balayage before so watching this was different. Jayna had an assistant helping her out. She used a lot of foils. I got my hair washed not once but twice! I keep my hair well maintenance and many are surprised that it's been a year since I've got my hair done. I wanted more blonde than ashy. After 4 hours, Jayna came through. Overall, satisfied! 76/2021

In search of a new hair salon? Look no further, Miracle Hair Salon's gotchu. I came here after seeing all the rave reviews, and my experience was absolutely spot on. My Experience: I called to book an appointment, which was very easy. I was willing to work with anyone on the team. When I got to the salon (I got there a few mins early), my stylist, Elsa, who I HIGHLY recommend, was right there at the door, ready to greet me and check me in. She immediately took me in to wash my hair! No wait at all (I've never experienced no wait! They are so organized). The hair wash is super relaxing and very thorough. The whole time, Elsa was gentle and made sure that I was comfortable the whole way through. After Elsa helped dry my hair, she sat me down and asked me a few questions about my hair and what I was looking for. I showed her a picture of my desired haircut, and she gave me a few options and thoughts on how we could make the hairstyle work. She was extremely attentive to ensure she had my consent on her ideas, and gave me several very helpful tips on how to style my hair based on my hair type, which is very thick. Elsa has the best attention to detail I have ever experienced with any hairstylist, while also working diligently but not too rushed. At the end, Elsa gave me more styling tips to make sure I could achieve the same look she gave me. This has never happened with me before with any other salon. She cares about you rocking your look past the salon and I never felt rushed at all! I know many of y'all have experienced "first haircut syndrome" where you first may dread your haircut and then you grow into it. I loved my haircut from the beginning, thanks to Miracle Hair Salon! The haircut cost $40 before tip, a price of which I felt was extremely reasonable given that I came in with very long, permed and damaged hair ($40 is how much my fiancé usually pays for his haircut at another salon and he barely has any hair cut cuz his hair is so short..) I will definitely be back!

I got my hair permed at Miracle Hair Salon by Elsa and I love it. I took a chance, because they didn't have any pictures of the type of curl I was looking for on their page, but I'm glad I chose them. The entire process took about 3 hours, with the rollers taking the longest part. But it was a smooth process all the way thru, with multiple people helping out with the rollers when they could to speed it up. I felt really bad that they had to spend so much time on my hair. My roots were a little straighter than I would have liked but it still looked good, so no real complaint there. I just might have to go back sooner than I thought to get it touched up. Hopefully with shorter hair, it won't be such a tedious task for them next time. My only regret is that I didn't have Elsa cut my hair shorter while I was there (my fault, not hers!). I had been growing my hair out and wanted to keep most of the length, but once I got home I decided the perm would look much better on shorter hair and ended up chopping it myself. When I go back, I'll definitely need them to fix what I'm sure is an uneven cut lol. As for covid safety, they were on top of it. Temperature taken at the door, everyone spread out, masks on, etc. I felt safe getting my hair done at Miracle Salon. Thank you & I'll see you again soon!

BAD SERVICE & ATTITUDE. I never had such an unbelievably negative experience as my visit to this hair salon. They set the appointment through the phone so that they don't give any literal confirmation, then when you arrived, they can just refuse to serve you without any reasonable and logical explanation. We tried to communicate with them and were about to reschedule a new appointment, but they just refused communication, started shouting, and falsely accused us with an attitude that common under-educated persons treat others.

I've received haircuts, colorings, etc. from several hair salons in Duluth. Some have missed the mark on what style I wanted and others should work on customer service skills. So far, no place has won me over as easily as Miracle Hair Salon. I scheduled an appointment with the local favorite, Jayna Kim. I normally get a simple undercut, but during quarantine I allowed my hair to grow out to get the similar two block cut. However, this was also my first time getting a perm as well. So, the reason I chose Miracle out of every hair salon in the area was simple: Jayna was consistently praised for her work and I wanted to be sure my hair would come out ideally. Before she started working on me, I simply had to answer two questions: What kind of cut, and if I had any pictures as reference for the perm. The entire process was much quicker than I was expecting, but don't think that mean less efficient. I honestly would have been satisfied with the haircut alone, since it was exactly what I asked for. Inexperienced as I was with perms, I was scared when the process was complete and it looked much curlier than I explained I wanted. However, my hair is shorter than ideal so there's only so much you can do with it and after styling it, or even after several washes, it finally achieved the look I was aiming for. My thin, flat hair transformed into a wavy, more voluminous texture. I shouldn't have doubted Jayna or Miracle! They have earned a new regular out of me!

I was just really curious on what happens. It wound up taking ~4 hours where I got my hair washed, cut, primed, bathed in solvent, and then curled with the little rollers. I definitely felt cared for, but 4 hours is def a long time. I brought a book and phone charger in case I was bored. The salon inside, however, is extremely cold. I think it was like 62 degrees inside, and I got my perm done in the summer when it was hot (and I still felt that it was freezing). There's a bunch of stylists inside and people who help prepare the clients. For a digital perm, it was ~$200, and if you pay with cash, you can avoid the 3% credit card fee. They also do a traditional booking system where you call them and you get written down for an appointment on a paper book. Overall, I loved how my hair turned out. It was very luscious and soft, but I wish when I made the appointment, maybe there could have been guidelines of what not to do leading up to the appointment, same with post hair care especially for new timers. I wound up using a notes app of how to care for it. I wish I had more curls in my hair, but now I know for next time and how to ask for it to be styled. Great experience generally! This place is located inside of a busy plaza with lots to do, so if you're ever waiting on someone here, you can go to Teso or get boba/food/coffee -- any type of idle shopping!

WORST HAIRCUT EVER…read more Cindy cut my hair way too short. I asked for 2 inches, at most 2.5 inches off. I walked out with 4 inches off my length and I cried in my car after leaving. I wore my glasses today so I had to take them off during my haircut so I was unable to see but how did TWO INCHES turn to FOUR?!? My long hair that was close to my bottom is now up above mid back. I kept emphasizing I want to keep my hair LONG. Be firm on your boundaries and what you want. I usually get my haircut once a year and now this makes me never want to even cut my hair ever again. How hard is it to just listen to what the client want?! I haven't had hair this short since grade school. I've never felt so ugly and I hated that I had to pretend this was ok. Currently looking up hair extensions now. So disappointed.

Fast and efficient at cutting hair and coloring…read more I thought their color selection was limited, but good. They do try to get you in and out as fast as possible, so very efficient! The prices are comparable to most high end salons but the service is mediocre. I do think they stay pretty busy and that may be why I felt this way.

So...This is my Go-To salon in the Duluth area, primarily because of convenience. Also, the pricing…read moreis very reasonable! However, I'm getting to the point that I may try to find another salon. Why?? For starters, the general attitude here is not good. Service is not a thing here, and unlike most salons, stylists (I've tried 3 different ones so far) are just not that personable. In fact, one of the three stylists I've tried here cancelled on me not once, but twice!! Obviously, I stopped booking with her. I also sense that they're not even that happy being there. I could be wrong, but it's the feeling that you get from these stylists. Still, the general hair cutting has been good...though, in my case, it's pretty basic. Just a straight line! I've always tipped 20%...but I'm starting to rethink this, given how the service is so minimal. On my last 2 sessions, the stylist barely said "Hi" to me. The place itself is pretty cool looking (in a grungy kinda way?), but I feel that the place may not be clean as it should be. I could be wrong here, but I've seen dust on their surface and arty structures. Also, I really don't like how they blow dry and comb your hair with their fingers. Not just a little bit while blow drying...but all throughout! It just feels a bit gross. I mean, who knows how clean their fingers are! I also hate the way they wash your hair. They actually have a separate girl that wash your hair (instead of the stylists)...and this girl is just not good! She has zero strength in her fingers...and I hate the way she even touches your hair! Possibly THE worst hair washing experience (experiences) I've ever had in ANY salon. I can't believe someone that's actually hired for this job (hair washing) does such a poor job! Despite liking the location and pricing, service and overall quality is always an issue. I may give it another try...but if my thoughts and feelings are confirmed once again on my next visit, I'll just find another salon in the area.
