After only 11 months of use, by adults - the tub finish is cracking and peeling. The Simi Valley, CA Miracle Method location has gone out of businesss. Corporate office told me that location is still responsible for fixing because it is within the 5 year warranty, and they have set up an email. I am currently in the process emailing with Simi Valley to have my issue fixed. Not worth the time or money. A new tub would have been better. read more

I hired them to fix a hole in the tub. They did that very well, but they left the tub with a gritty surface about a foot and a half all around the area where they did the patch. They came back out and sanded it down some, but the workman said if he kept sanding it down that the patched area wouldn't color match the rest of the tub. So it is a little better but still gritty. I don't know why the grit happened -- they must have applied the finishing material in a spray. I am glad the hole in the tub was fixed, and I don't have to replace the tub for now. I sure don't like that gritty texture though. So, the tub still has a problem, although it is a better problem than the other problem. read more

What a fabulous transition! As a Realtor, it is important for me that the house looks really special although money can always be an issue. The old beat-up kitchen countertops needed replacing as well as the badly chipped tile around the fireplace. Having worked with Miracle Method and knowing their fair prices and excellent results, we used them to resurface the countertops and tile around the fireplace. Our tub looks amazing! I was on the fence about whether to get our existing tub re-finished or purchasing a bathtub liner. Going with Miracle Method to refinish our existing tub was the right decision. One of the main considerations in going with the re-finish over the liner is that the tub is a standard sized tub, and we didn't want to lose a lot of interior space to the liner. The finish on our tub looked terrible. It was peeling off in multiple spots, and even where it was intact, there were pits. I could tell it wasn't going to last long. Miracle Method came on time on a Monday, finished in about 4 hours and came back the next day and wrapped up in about another hour. I peeked into the bathroom while the finish was curing, and they had done a very good job of protecting our other surfaces with plastic. We are extremely happy with the new finish, and I will definitely recommend Miracle Method to anyone looking to re-finish a tub. Of course, the real test is how the finish stands the test of time. I will definitely update my review if anything changes, but a month after the work was completed, we are very happy. read more

I have work completed from the Simi Valley California office in 2021. One year later, one of the tubs started peeling and cracking in multiple locations. Miracle method corporate office informed me the Simi Valley office went out of business since I had to work done . Corporate will not take responsibility for fixing the issues that are covered under warranty still. They have given me no information to try to contact the owner, whom they say is responsible for the repairs. They gave me a generic email address that the owner is not responding to. How can corporate not know any information about one of their franchisees, such as the name of the owner and contact information? I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will track down and get my repairs . I will NEVER use Miracle Method on any of my properties. I also have alerted my community and will leave negative reviews. This is unacceptable and corporate should take responsibility as the umbrella under which individual franchises operate . read more

Miracle Method South Denver refinished my bathtub and laminate bathroom countertop. The tub was in horrible shape: coating pulled away by an industrial strength bathmat on over half the tub bottom and generally dull finish everywhere else. The countertop looked like it was from the 70s. John removed the old finish from the bathtub and refinished everything with a shiny, hard coat in 2 days. Looks like new for less than a replacement tub and all the expense and dust of a tear-out. It's all pretty new, so I can't testify to the durability, but it sure looks great now. John was also right on time both days and communicated well throughout. From office management, Anna was also very responsive and communicated clearly. Can't ask for much more! read more

We had Miracle Method do our bathtub and bathroom countertops exactly 6 years ago. Everything looked beautiful, the people were great. Fast Forward to present day and in the past 6 years, they have had to come back and repair where the water goes down the bathtub drain at least 3 times, maybe 4, until the last time we unscrewed and removed the drain hole cover (they won't do that due to liability) so that the finish could go underneath the cover. Before, they just did around the drain hole cover, which lent to a not good seal so eventually the finish chipped and bubbled up. And we were not told that it's better if the drain cover is removed before finishing until the last time they repaired it. We haven't had any issues since - it has been several months since the last repair, which they very kindly did under warranty which had just expired. What I want to say is that our bathroom countertops have remained beautiful and we continue to love them. However, I would never do a bathtub again. Too much trouble to try and keep it in a nice condition. The supplies required for cleaning are expensive. The whole tub is not shiny and smooth like the sample tub in the showroom. While that didn't seem to bother them, it kind of does me, but I've got other more important things worry about. It's a lot of work to keep it clean because you can't use hardly anything on the finish except expensive recommendations. I use a liquid soap and a sponge instead and it works ok. My husband just put a tiny chip in the tub because he accidentally dropped a toenail clipper, which is why this review as just a heads up. I highly do not recommend a Miracle Method bathtub if you have husbands who drop things in the shower and/or children, who are just rough with everything. The finish just cannot stand up to all the regular life that comes with that. It is not equal to a regular bathtub. I have no problem with the company or any of their people or anything. They have always been courteous and friendly and wanting to make things right. But the suggested 15-20 years lifespan of the tub is very hard to believe under normal wear and tear conditions of using a bathtub. I would stick to countertops, I guess. read more

I had my kitchen and bathroom countertops done last August. By this Spring (7-8 months later), I had spots on the kitchen countertops in 3 different areas. Found out stains are not covered under warranty and they wanted additions charges to come out and redo them. Be aware of this. read more

We interviewed quite a few companies regarding our tub and shower pan refinishing. After quite a bit of research, we decided to go with Miracle Method and we are very happy that we selected them! John, our technician, was always on time and did an amazing job. I wish I remembered to get "before" photos because both surfaces look 100% better now. The tub looks bright, shiny and brand new. The shower pan has a more matte finish and looks terrific. John was respectful of our home, never left a mess, and was very professional, friendly and efficient. I searched, read reviews and scoured the internet before deciding on a company to re-glaze our 1970's bathtub. I wanted something that would last and a company that would do quality work. I choose Denver Miracle Method after speaking w/ them about their process. I was a tad leery bc I could not find any good reviews online. A lot of companies I called did the job in one day, had different levels of prices and seemed to offer quick cheap service. Why would they have different levels of quality? One company had 3 different prices of glazing depending on how long you wanted it to last. Didn't make sense to me. MM was a tad bit more expensive, but I am SO glad I decided to go with them! The tech Tony was fantastic! He was courteous, professional, and took his time doing exceptional work. It is a 2 day process. Tony came out and cleaned our tub, repaired some chips and covered all the surrounding tile, floor and fixtures. The next day he came to do the final finishes and caulk around the tub. It looks fantastic! I really appreciated the time and attention he took. He was definitely there to do a good job and not a quick "in and out". For $435 I have what looks like a brand new bathtub! Denver MM has been around a long time (they are a franchise) and they do high quality work! I would highly recommended them for making old dingy tubs look like new again. read more

After much agonizing I decided to refinish 2 old tubs (1965) instead of replacing during 2 bathroom remodels in 2012. The tubs were fantastic quality, but old in color and finish. Denver Miracle Method costs a little more, but they did a great job! Even my bathroom tile and flooring guys couldn't tell the tubs were refinished after they came back out to calk! That tells you everything you need to know, do it once, do it right. The tubs were refinished a year ago, I waited to write a review to see how the finish would hold up. I have 2 teens, the tubs get daily use and are cleaned about every 1-2 weeks. I've never had trouble with any staining from bottles and homemade skin care concoctions. Even coffee grinds don't stain the white finish, and they are not rinsed off quickly (note the homemade skin care concoctions). Don't hesitate to use this company. I live in a very nice home with an excellent property value. My bathroom remodels included new subfloors, fixtures, flooring, tile surrounds, vanity and sinks, lighting and framed mirrors. Although the remodelers wanted to install new tubs, I knew the quality would not be equal to my old tubs and they included a heating element from my furnace boiler I didn't want to mess with. I am not disappointed in the least, have no regrets, and would absolutely make the same decision again. We also had this company refinish a tub in a rental property, the tenants have no issues with cleaning, staining, or upkeep. I hope this review helps! read more

MM refinished our tub this week, and I would recommend them. Our tub was gross... chipped, scratched, and just overall funky. For $590, we have what looks like a brand new tub. Their work is guaranteed for five years. The 5-star review will come then if the finish has performed well. Juan & a trainee showed up on time to do the job. He has been with the company for over a decade, and is a very pleasant person. I was a little irritated that the guys kept their boots on with no protective cover... usually professionals will cover their boots to keep your floors clean. The first day took between 3-4 hours, and the smell was quite strong upstairs where they were working even though they used a high-powered vent. My 12-month old daughter and I played downstairs, and I could only faintly detect any smell. The smell was gone by bedtime, so we just stayed outside and downstairs while it faded. A few things to note: *You should remove the drain and overflow cover before you have your tub refinished to ensure a proper seal. The company will not do it for you. From the reviews I've read, if the new surface begins to peel, it is around the drain, which makes sense if they simply mask over the drain cover. *Be sure everything (including sink/vanity) is 8-12 inches from your tub. I had to detach and move my vanity because it was right up against the outside of the tub. *Close all doors to bedrooms where they are working to prevent the smell from getting in. read more

We remodeled our full bathroom last summer and I can honestly say I regret not replacing the bathtub instead of refinishing it. Our tub is cast iron and in excellent condition for its age. We thought it would be a shame to tear it out just to change the 50s soft pink to white, so after much research we decided to hire Miracle Method (even though it would be more cost effective to replace it!). Unfortunately, the refinishing requires kid gloves and is far too susceptible to marring and damage - which is antithetical to an area that gets so much use and often needs to be scrubbed (and ours is only used by two adults!!!). They use a non-slip application on the base of the tub, but since you cannot use any type of abrasive products or scrubbing process, it starts it is very hard to clean. The cleaning product they include in this expensive process is far from the best I've ever used and since only a cloth or the soft side of a sponge is allowed, it never gets really clean. In addition, the surface is so fragile that when I tapped the side of the tub with the edge of my mop it created an opening and I'm not sure how or if it can be repaired. I realize there are "good" reviews out there, but I would caution anyone considering this process. Although I wasn't 100% thrilled once the process was complete, I was much happier than I am now -- six months later. As I said in the beginning of this review, if I could do it all over again, I would make a different decision. read more

I have had Miracle Method re-finish four or 5 Bathtubs over the last 7 years. They just re-finished my personal Bath Tub. I had to have the Guy come back because of drips and scuffs inside and out. After the second visit it was no better. Drips along the detail on the outside and drips/ runs in every corner on the inside. The inside of the tub opposite the wall is badly runny. He also left a very sloppy caulk line on the outside of the Tub which I had to re-do. So after paying almost $700.00 I had to have Pro Porcelain re-do the entire job. at an additional cost of more than $600.00. That's right almost $100 cheaper and a much better job done right the first time. If I had known Miracle method would cost me an additional $700 I would have just replaced the Tub for $1200. read more

WARNING: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this company zero stars I would ! Wow what a scam!!! I was charged near a thousand dollars to paint my tub. When the day of service came, they sent a young tech to my home who was inexperienced and very disorganized. Leaving dangerous tools behind at my home and paint on my tile walls. (common complaint I have read). When we called to let him know he had left his tools behind he told us he would be back out to our home to pick them up and never showed. Days later the paint they used on the tub completely bubbled and turned orange. We called and they sent the same tech back out to what we hoped to have been the end of the problem. Well it didn't stop there . 3 weeks later all the paint wore off the bottom of the tub , exposing the original surface. When we called the company again they were wanting us to have them back into our home despite the state restrictions per the governor whom stopped all at home services due to the world wide pandemic. This held up our entire home project. I called several times and spoke with the same disheveled receptionist Katie who promised me a call back from a manager which I never received. She then promised me a call back from the owner Megan , which never happened either. I was left to call back a week later to follow up and a very rude and unprofessional manager by the name of Jermey got on the phone and blamed my husband and I for the hold up on our home project because again to despite the state restrictions we did not want to have any service done in our home by an outside tech during the pandemic. We had sent pictures of the tub and what happened to it after it was painted to Katie via email. When we asked the manager to reference the photos we were left on hold for 15 minutes for him to come back and tell me he could not find them. He promised a call back and a resolution in 10-15 minutes . He called back an hour later and I had again asked to speak to the owner Megan . They claimed she was still out of the office due to a "family emergency".... when I asked for a full refund I was hung up on and miraculously I received a call back from Owner Megan .... when we explained we wanted an experience tech to come out to correct the issue she expressed that tech that did the work was experienced and had been with the company either 1 or 2 years. My guess is by their actions and how they handle their customer issues the company is a mess of a revolving door . I asked why I never received a call back from management and she expressed she was out of the office . When I said in all due respect that's not an excuse she said I will send a check in the mail and hung up on me . Still waiting on my refund and now have reported the company to the BBB to who has asked the AG to step in due to their state restriction violation. They are working together on the investigation of the company . We now have to pay another company to come out and correct this DISASTER MM created for my husband and I . read more

Absolutely horrible service! I have used several different tub resurfacing companies here in Denver & these guys are the worst by far. Had to come out to pretend to fix their mistakes which they first denied over the phone. Then after I finally got them back out they just sprayed it with touch up paint that will not last. Don't be fooled by there 'special' method of how they apply their product. It's already fading & they didn't show up to fix it. Stay away!!! read more

I had an appointment scheduled with miracle method on a vacant rental. When I scheduled the appointment a week and a half prior, they told me on the phone there would be an additional charge if they had to strip...I said ok. The appointment was on a Tuesday and I had new tenants moving in the following Saturday. When they arrived at 2:30pm they decided they needed to re-strip the tub but because they couldn't get a hold of me instantly and they also did not have time to re-strip, they left the property. I called them shortly after and they said they would have to reschedule. I told them that I had new tenants moving in and I needed it done ASAP! I asked for a manager to get involved and the best he was able to do was schedule me a few weeks out. Extremely disappointed as they totally dropped the ball and put me in a very difficult position. Luckily I found Custom Pro Coatings, LLC who came the following day and saved the day. Not only did the do an incredible job...they did it for $350 which Miracle Method was going to be over $600. Being a real estate broker - I definitely refer people who do good work for me and/or makes things right when they screw up. Sorry Miracle Method, you will not be on my referral list. read more
