Amazing hand car wash! I decided to try this place for the first time since we live nearby. I'm always looking to support local businesses, so I figured I'd give them a try. I arrived and was met with prompt service, getting me in right away. After paying just $28.95 for a standard wash, I spoke with the friendly woman at the front desk. I had a few questions about the service, and she answered each one thoroughly. She and the other employees who worked on my car were welcoming, professional, and genuinely hospitable. During the hand drying process, one of the employees explained each step and let me know that the old carpet powder that had exploded in my trunk wasn't going to come out with a basic vacuum. I really appreciated the honesty about what could and couldn't be done with a standard wash instead of making unrealistic promises. Everyone was working hard in the heat, and it showed. The team clearly takes pride in their work and deserves recognition for the effort they put in. After the wash, my car looked great. For a basic wash and dry, it exceeded my expectations. A few water spots were understandable at this price point, but overall the car was very clean. The employees clearly put time, care, and attention into their work, and it shows. I go here every five years or so because it's extremely convenient but always leave disappointed. I showed up mid afternoon to find I'm the only customer in the place. I told the attendant I want the cheap wash then went in to pay. No one was there. After 4-5 minutes a woman walked in, said hi, then began a lengthy conversation with an employee who had followed her in. Finally she was ready to take my credit card and charged more than what I'd been quoted. She began to delete services when I complained and I told her never mind, I'll pay the difference before she had a chance to delete drying from the services rendered. The good news is that the car was clean and dry in just a couple minutes after her manufactured drama. It's one thing to be unprofessional in your service, but trying to sneak in upcharges is a good way to ensure it will be another five years before I stop in again hoping for a change in management. Today was bath day for Bunny. Living in LB & almost always stuck parking under a tree leads to alot of frustration. Car gets so dirty. Everyday theres more say, its endless.Took my car to The Mirage Car Wash today & told my concerns to the workers. My car was literally covered in dirt, sap & bird poop, wasnt sure if anyone would be able to make Bunny look fresh & clean again but I was give it a try. Mirage was able to remove all the dirt & grime, got all the beach sand out of the seats. And all that sap was a thing of the past. Cynthia & Rivas gave my car 100% of their attention. I had my car washed after 2 months of being out of town. I was greeted at the vacuums by Carlos. Very pleasant, very helpful. I asked if he could vacuum out my trunk and he said he would. He said it might take 45". There was only one lady cleaning the inside of a cars today. Didn't have a full staff. Then my car came out. Carlos came over and did a marvelous job of wiping and cleaning windows, inside and out including my hatchback. I really wanted to be sure to write a review since there are so many not so nice ones. Have gone here for decades. Used to love the excellent service. Has gone from bad to worse. Today I pulled in, waited a while for someone to come out and speak to me, then was told that I'd have to wait an hour for my wash since all employees were having lunch. With 1 car in front of me, I waited 20 minutes for them to get to my car (checking against my receipt). Meanwhile, the guy who checks you in and the cashier sit and chat right by me. The two people who are actually working are working hard, but this place looks like it's on its last legs and it's pretty obvious why. Gas pumps closed. It's dirty. 4 people on staff but only 2 are working. They're working hard and deserve a good tip but this is not good business. Went to get a car wash there last Sunday and they raised their prices more than $10.00 per each type of wash. There was over a 1/2 hour wait and they had no gas at all. I had a coupon which they would not honor even though it is illegal to not honor a coupon which you paid cash for no matter if it is a new owner or not. I left without getting gas or a car wash. The prices are crazy now and I think they are going to lose tons of business. It seems the new owners don't care if they have happy customer's or not. read more

I asked one of the workers and she said because of the price hike they have lost a lot of business... Hopefully the new owners wise up. Horrible car wash. If I had more time I would go back and get a refund. My car looked worse than when I arrived. They essentially just made circles leaving dirt circles all over my car. Took my car in today because I didn't have time to take it elsewhere for extensive detailing.. I was only one of two customers when I arrived, but the guy had my car for an hour for $38 and it's an SUV. Did a fabulous job on it. I'm embarrassed to say I hadn't had it washed in five months. Even with tons of dog hair, only charged an additional 10. Spotless inside and out, as if I had actually had it detailed. Told them I didn't want air freshener so instead they cleaned wheels and rims, which were filthy. At the end, the gentleman who worked on my car, didn't hand me the keys right away. The black trim has spots and the body of the car has a swirly film all around it. Whoever bought this place does not care if the car looks good after a customer just paid $36 and a $10 tip. Horrible service. I have come here before with the previous owners and had good service. The business has changed ownership and the quality has gone completely downhill. I paid for a super deluxe wash, and my car was still dirty. My wheels had dirt all over them and some dings on the wheels that were not there before. They did not clean my roof. My windows were filthy. My bumpers still had dirt on them. I noticed the usual vacuums were not working as my car sat there for a while in the stall and then noticed them using a shop vac to vacuum out my car once they so called "washed it" They did not do a good job even vacuuming the inside because I still had dirt on my rubber floor mats. The lady that got into my car actually didn't seem like she knew how to start my car up. I will not be returning there ever and do not recommend anybody to go. It's a dump and you'll end up washing your car again at home yourself like I did. Don't waste your time or money. Obviously they do not care about the service they are providing. This place is a scam ! High prices for the lady or two guys in the back to spray and wash your car with a sponge. I could of done that at home ! First they line up the tires like any other car wash place to move it in Neutral but here's the catch, the auto car wash is broken. So they scrape your rims for nothing! Today I brought my moms car and got the Deluxe Wash which is $37 with tax. Nobody was here so I thought cool this should be quick. Nope ! Once I was inside watching them through the windows I noticed it was just a basic water and soap wash. Only thing that works back there is the dryers they have to turn on. Once they dry the car they park it out front and do the basic wipe down. Where's the wax and protectant spray I paid for .... Seriously all respect to the workers but this place needs to be shut down ! NEVER COME HERE ! The worst! I paid for the VIP detail and it was the worst car wash ever! They didn't even vacuum or wipe down the interior. Exterior looked like it wasn't even washed. The windows were clean but the paint was covered in yellow spots from all the mustard blooming. I came home and tried to call to complain but the phone number no longer existed. I recently visited the car wash & they forgot to Armor all (shine the tires). I didn't notice it at the time of pickup & when I got home I noticed it wasn't done. Drove back to the car wash & told the attendee who checks in the car that it wasn't done. He told me to find the person who cleaned your car to do it. That person was busy cleaning another car but he noticed me & he came back to do it. I noticed the attendee is checking his receipt in front me to see if I was telling the truth. When I told him that I wouldn't lie for $4, he responded is there a problem if I check? They should train these people better how to speak to their customers especially when you spend $40 (including tip) for a car wash. read more

They do a fantastic job on your car. Just be prepared to wait a while but that's the nice thing about it. Go through your emails while waiting. Read your yelp reviews on your favorite places. It gives you your own time to do things you don't have time to do at home. And the bonus is you drive away in a brand new sparkling car. My car always looks so new after a bath they give it. I am impressed with this car wash as the attention to detail is something I don't experience at other car wash businesses. The prices are reasonable and they take their time. Have patience when they are busy as well worth the wait. I will not go to any other car wash and have been taking both our cars to be washed here for over three years. I trust this car wash!!! I've been going here since the summer and it's always a calm environment; unlike other car washes that are loud and the waiting area is always small. I dropped my phone in between seats and I had no idea it fell off my purse. While I was at the register, the employee who wrote my ticket brought my phone!! WOW! I took my Jeep in Saturday for a wash. When the attendant brought it out to dry it I noticed dings on my rims , one on each wheel. I alerted the person in duty. The attendant lied and said the dings were there already , when they clearly were not. It's a brand new Jeep. The person on duty said a manger would call me. No call yet. As a matter of fact the phone number on the receipt and website are not in service. I hope I get a call to resolve the matter , but I'm not holding my breath. I would recommend any other car wash over Mirage. I used to come to this location for years and stopped due to poor & slow service. Fast forward a couple years and thought I'd give them another try. The wash was good however the damage to my rims was not. The person in the office came out to see the extent and brought the attendant over to comment. She said the damage was already there and they brought it up when we dove in. This was a flat out lie which I made very clear. I was told that they would send the pictures to the owner who would get in touch. Of course that hasn't happened and the phone number they gave us and the one on the web page is is not in service. I have been coming to Mirage Car Wash for nearly thirty years. Usually the service is good, on occasion, great. The management was friendly. Unfortunately, new management has taken over. I went yesterday during the lunch rush, I was surprised they weren't busy, but pleased. At the entryway where the gas pumps are there were six cars waiting with only one employee to check them in. One person shampooing the cars and two employees at the service bay where they dry the cars. I asked the cashier what the holdup was about and was told that when the new management came in they fired most of the employees. WTF? Some of the ladies that wiped down the cara were the hardest working women I have ever seen. Now the wait is twice as long and the quality of the service is worse. They just lost q longtime customer. Turned into a $150.00, had to ask for the mats to be done, not included like previous deal, and overlooked details that were Normally addressed. If I am going to give the benefit of the doubt, and pay $150.00 plus tip to do my vehicle. You better put more effort into making my car look 100% versus just giving it an assembly line experience. I will not be going back, which is sad. I really liked this place before new management took it over and changed what didn't need to be changed.
