First and foremost, I try my best to give every customer service business grace. A lot of personalities to deal with, and usually in the customer service industry, overworked and understaffed. However, I have 4 different memberships, just checked with customer service. 3 license plates 1 fast pass. I've never had an issue getting a car wash. Today, I pull into the car wash, San Pedro location doesn't read the pass (lomita location does). I wait patiently in no rush, I share I have a the fast pass. Associate by the name of Jeremy, looks at my fast pass says nothing walks to the back of the car. Gets my license plate number and types it in "Your license plate isn't coming up", I say that's correct because it's tied to the fast pass. Jeremy then ask me for my phone number and my name which I provide. He goes to the office comes out and says "yes, I see you have an account. But you don't have this license plate on the account, do you want me to transfer it from another car" I say "No not necessary the other cars are tied to the license plate and I have the fast pass for this car, I have 4 different cars, 3 are tied to the license plate this one has the fast pass". I then asked if we could look up the account on the screen... no response, eventually just kept saying "this license plate is not on the account" I don't argue with anyone about anything... so just paid for an additional single car wash, and from now on go to the Lomita location. In reality the San Pedro location, many times is broken down, it has damaged the wheels on my car (didn't complain, I understand that's a risk you take with an automated car wash), have to hunt for towels often. Vulgar music being played loudly. I've watched the staff give a customer a hard time when he car wash popped 2 tires on a customers car, gave him little information and acted as if there was nothing they could do. I'm genuinely upset as i pay upwards of 120.00 a month for 4 car wash memberships and receive a subpar service with an attitude that had no need at all. The Lomita location is farther away from me, but in reality a completely different experience. But I guess at this point I will drive to Lomita or, find a new car wash to go to. I hope Jeremy, understands that a pleasant attitude can turn a mishap into a fix and a miscommunication to an understanding. All in all a key part of customer service is to service the customer (hence the name) and if we cannot do so identify the issue preventing us from doing so. Not just saying the already known "the license plate isn't on the account". Not helpful or of any part of customer service at all. read more

Seems to break down a lot. Wash isn't great. There's always things left on the car after I go through. The staff is friendly though.

Damaged my truck. Lady at the entrance asked me if I had been there before. I said no, so she went over my wash options. I took my truck through the wash and it slammed both of my mirrors in and the rollers caught the antenna on the fender of my truck, not only do it bend my antenna, but it pulled so hard on it that it dented in a bent the fender of my truck where the antenna attaches... I told the lady that helped me originally and she told me it was my fault for not removing the antenna. she was confrontational and defensive when i told her my truck got damaged, very unprofessional. Well maybe she should have told me that when I got there and she explained to me about the wash options... I don't recommend anyone go here, but that is up to you. read more

This might be the worst car wash I've ever received. For $15, the wash didn't remove basic dirt, and the all-over dryers were so weak that the car came out soaking wet. The end result looked no different than when I arrived. Definitely not worth the cost. read more

First the POSITIVES 1st positive is 2 stars for Lawerence, he is the only male that has ever smiled and actually had a conversation with me like I'm a human being. Thanks Lawerence (Now that's management material and so classy) I've even seen him take the tire wet and manually shine someone's tire and I've never seen that done before plus I go to them all. I'm giving this 1+ star because of the Super Protect Simoniz® Ceramic Protect Simoniz® Ceramic Shine Graphene Coating 2-Stage Wheel Cleaner My car comes out shiny and spent quite some time with the basic and Super Protect and I'll admit it it's worth it. Trash seems to always be managed and clean. FREE VAC!!!!! The fact that I can go everyday is amazing NOW ON TO THE NEGATIVES 1. I needed to change my license plate so when I drove up the attendant was not helpful and tried to get me to purchase another membership and I parked and said I would like to speak with a manager and as soon as I believe it to be Daniel (wears glasses) because you know managers typically start with a smile, handshake, and ready to problem solve. Not the case so listening up OWNER please start putting the correct people in the correct positions. He walks up and I said hello is there a manager here and he said " I'm the manager" I immediately said never mind I'll go see Ashley on Pch and his response was "psst ok". That girl needs training and hard core. WTF is up with this group of kids these days wanting more pay but want to stand around on their phones and have personal conversations instead of greeting and being helpful to PAYING CUSTOMERS. I mean they sometimes will spray the bug spray on the front of my car but it all depends on how they feel I guess. "HEY Op, I HAVE THE SUPER PROTECT GIRL" now act like it, spray spray. I'm not sure why the motto is "I MUST NEVER SPEAK NOR SHOW THAT I LIKE MY JOB BUT ARRRRRGGGGGGG RAAAAAGGGEEEEE" Like bro,,, "looks to the left then looks to the right" calm down, your in customer services and your not serving. Just heard that Wendy has been promoted to manager so maybe these kiddos understand that she can no longer be fraternizing with them or they need to understand the lay of the land. Put that foot down when need be. It's work it's not Superstar Car wash best friend race. So I believe Wendy has a lot of challenges ahead of her but they can be concurred but I digress. Bring your own drying items because the towels are always wet and sometimes damp which doesn't do it real justice especially on the windows. Over time their towels will out scratches on your cars paint and interior especially displays and windows. Be warned. Vacuums are half assed. Half of them work on med, some work on low and others work on BROKE BROKE! Bathroom has that never really clean feel and they may or may not be soap. read more

Felt discriminated they should put up a sign instead of making me lose time waiting for her to call her district manager just to tell me that I cant wash it. One month into our monthly membership and the track system in the car wash left circular gashes in our driver side rims. I had the baby in the car with me so I did a quick dry and moved onto my next task for the day. When my husband got home that evening he took a look at the car and saw the circular gouges and went to the carwash the next morning. They said, since we did not say anything the day of that it was more than likely they would deny our claim. Which seems absurd! We moved forward and filed a complaint, they denied our claim and after we pressed to have the claim looked at again they denied the claim again so one month into our membership we now have to spend up to $1000 to get new rims. We were open to other avenues like just powder coating them so it wouldn't it be a huge expense but they would not even entertain any solution. I can't imagine a membership where you need to walk your vehicle after every single car wash. If I trust you with my car and my monthly payment, you should trust me with my issue at hand. Beware: This Car Wash Will Not Take Responsibility for Damages! On January 11, 2025, I took my brand-new BMW (only 15 days old) through this car wash, and what happened was completely unacceptable. Due to a malfunction in their system, the car in front of me derailed, causing my vehicle to collide into it. The damage to my car is over $10,000, and yet, this business has done nothing to address the situation. For over a month, I have been trying to get in touch with their team, including Regional Sales Manager Richard Torres, who has completely ignored my emails and phone calls. My insurance company has also reached out multiple times, and they have refused to respond. This is beyond unprofessional--it's negligent and dishonest business practice. If their equipment malfunctions and damages your car, don't expect them to take any responsibility. They refuse to provide their insurance information, return calls, or even acknowledge the issue. Stay away from this car wash! If they do this to one customer, imagine how many others they have ignored. A business without integrity does not deserve your money. Hopefully, this review will warn others before they make the mistake of trusting them with their vehicle. read more

Jacqueline at the entrance was very helpful. I appreciated her talking me through all of my options and helping me understand the benefits of the car wash I was getting. I Ended up getting a membership because of some of the things she shared! I went in telling myself "I do not wanna membership. I won't let them sell me one", but it really is a better value for your money especially if you like to keep your car clean. I had some trouble understanding where the entrance - it was my first time at this location. Otherwise, I think this is a great spot. They have another location about 10 min away. After stating I was not interested in their membership because I do not live locally and it wouldn't make any sense for me to buy, I was still pestered about signing up for their membership. When I continued to express disinterest I was then asked to write a yelp review. So, Here's my review: this is a mediocre wash at best. You're paying to get your car wet with a few suds, fondled by noodles and then "dried" off with a dirty, damp roller on the roof of your car. You also take a chance at getting a vacuum that actually works. All at the price being hassled and given attitude because you don't want to sign up for a membership which by the way, the base price $20 and increases over time. And these people won't take no for an answer. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere for better service all around. read more

The attendants were all very helpful when selecting the wash. They provide a free air freshener and dash wipe. The was itself didn't remove everything, though to be fair I hadn't washed my car in months and some of it was really baked on. Also, the provided complimentary microfiber wipes helped the remove any remaining grime. The vacuums were very strong and helped with the internal detailing, which is what I was also looking for in a car wash. The size of the location is a bit small, so I imagine it gets pretty packed during certain times of the day and I likely couldn't have spent as long detailing my car's interior. However I went at 10am, and while there was still a steady stream of customers, it was not too busy to stay longer than the 5 minute allotment. Overall, the service was great, the car wash itself was okay, but the amenities to be able to deep clean myself made up the difference. I'd recommend being mindful of when you go, as it is likely to get packed. read more

Came here because it was close right off the fwy. It was quick and easy. The car wash cleaned my car really good. My favorite part was the drying part it's not just air on your car it's actual cloths swirling around to dry the car. I'll definitely be back. read more

Let me start by saying that I used to really enjoy coming to Superstar Car Wash. It was an above-par facility, but in such a short time, my experience has dropped from a five-star rating to barely a two. In the past, the tiles were nicely folded, and the vacuums could pick up every fiber. I didn't even get overly upset when a machine broke my standard antenna--I just bought another one on Amazon. This used to be a fantastic self-service car wash that even allowed non-members to vacuum their vehicles. However, the turnover in staff has led to a decline from exceptional service to mere satisfaction. The posted hours of operation are from 7 AM to 8 PM, which couldn't be further from the truth. I've arrived at the facility 15 minutes before closing, only to find it closed at 7:45 PM. I've also shown up before 7 AM, and they weren't open. Isn't that false advertising? If I were managing this facility, I would seriously reconsider who I hire. Some employees seem lackadaisical and lazy in their roles. I want to give a shout-out to Aaron, who goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. He proactively informs customers when their time is nearly up, which is greatly appreciated. This is a self-service facility--customers should be encouraged to clean their cars efficiently so others can do the same. I believe this location needs employees who are dedicated to providing the best service possible. With the current economy, paying $17 an hour may not attract the level of proactivity needed for excellent service. If things don't improve, I will seriously consider canceling my membership and taking my business elsewhere.
