Spending a nice little weekend in Naples, and researched this restaurant with a happy hour that cannot be beat! It is from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at night! Lots of drinks included and delicious bites as well. We had the steamed muscles, stuffed mushrooms, and the grilled calamari. They were all spectacular! There Pinot Grigio is so refreshing and smooth, and when you get an old fashioned with three red cherries you know you're in the right place! The view is fantastic and so is the music. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area! And if you're in the area, ask for Mallory! best server ever! My friend and I came here for dinner, and we made reservations which I highly recommend because it was busy! We were able to pick if we wanted a seat with a view too. Our waitress Silvia was super sweet and attentive. They provide focaccia bread to start, it was a bit on the colder side but tasted very good. I got the coconut tini which had coconut flakes on the rim which was delicious. My friend did the Old Fashioned. Both were very good. For dinner I did the fettuccine bolognese, which was good. Portion size was a bit small. I do wish the sauce had a little more flavoring, kind of just tasted like a marinara sauce but the noodles were very fresh and delicious. My friend got the Spaghetti Frutti di Mare Ciopinno which was a combination of seafood (clam, mussel, shrimp, calamari, lobster) with a light tomato sauce that was delicious. He said the mussels tasted the best but the others didn't have too much flavor. For dessert, we did the tiramisu. I wish the first layer wasn't completely soaked with the coffee because it was overpowering but the rest of it was delicious. Very pretty spot on Venetian Village with views looking over the water. The outdoor seating by the water is absolutely beautiful -- perfect for a sunset meal. Our server was great and very polite, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend the orecchiette and sausage pasta -- so flavorful and well-balanced. The meatballs and mussels were also fantastic starters. My wife and I went here for lunch and it has a beautiful waterfront view. The menu had a nice selection and decently priced Food - Was very good Chicken Parm Sandwich - honestly it was the best I had ever had. Cook to perfection. Cesar Salad - Good, given that nothing special. Pasta with Vodka Sauce - wife said this was very good. Cannolis- awesome. Service - this is why I didn't rate higher. Hostess - Had a very non-schalant Attitude. Waitresses - They were nice however not as attentive as I would have thought as it wasn't very busy. Two people were helping our table and 1 waitress took my Credit Card and after about 30 minutes could not find it. I don't know how you lose a CC given that they did. Was advised a manager would come talk to me and never did. Gave them my info and they said they would call me when found. While I did get the meal for free it was odd and annoying. I did get a Call from them around 6 that they found it. Manager apologized and all I still don't get how you lose a CC. I did cancel it just in case. read more

Dined there with friends R&D and Gina. on Easter Sunday for dinner. Sat on the patio and the weather was perfect as is that setting overlooking the bay. Otto Avalos who played the sax and violin was the perfect sound for background. The crowd and vibe as they now say was great. Part of the ambiance. Our server, SILVIA P. was the best, Very professional, personable and great speaking with her about Italy. Also very helpful with our questions on the menu. The food, as always over the years was great and we 5 enjoyed the evening there. Everyone enjoyed their salads and entrees. It's been a while since here but this summer, will plan on more visits. We went to MiraMare last night for my birthday dinner. We loved the ambiance, the live violinist, the service, and the food were all impeccable! The caprese salad was artfully presented and delicious. I had the linguine & clams and my husband the lasagna. Both were excellent! Good food but slightly overpriced. It feels like you're paying extra for the view, which was certainly nice. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes. The flavors were great but the pasta dishes that we got had small portions (eggplant parm, pasta vodka, bolognese), while the protein dishes had much bigger portions (chicken Marsala, shrimp skewers). Having had many meals over the years it pains me to share that the balance between the lovely venue and the quality of the cuisine has now sadly tipped to far to stay silent. I hosted a party of five (5) for Saturday 12/27 dinner and two (2) pasta meals were inedible. I am not being dramatic - linguine and clams and a chicken/pasta, where the pasta was like bubble gum. When asked if everything was fine I shared with the server both pasta meals were inedible and while there was an offer to remake the dishes by our server, so much time had passed that my guests opted not to delay the entire table. The check arrived with no adjustment and I paid it with a 20% gratuity as the unfortunate events were not a result of our servers actions. I am hoping there can be a change to improve the situation; however, I feel those planning a special event with guests should be aware of our recent experience. read more

Cannot recommend this highly enough! Perfect views of the sunset over Venetian Bay with tables right down by the water. The risotto al funghi was a solid choice but the wine list (go for the Chianti) and desserts put it over the top. I was celebrating my birthday and they brought over the best pistachio cake accompanied by a lovely violinist! Note that the restaurant closes between lunch and dinner and you definitely need a reservation. Go for happy hour at the bar first and sample the cocktails! read more

We were kindly greeted as soon as we walked in. One of the owners, Sal, invited us to sit and listen to the violin player after I mentioned my husband loves the violin. He brought us over water and told us we can just enjoy and relax and don't have to order anything if we didn't want to. Well, of course after that welcoming we decided to stay. Dinner was amazing. My husband said it was one of the top 3 orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage he's ever had (and he's tried it at many other restaurants)! The bartender, Aaron, was also just fantastic! There are so many amazing restaurants around here and this one has never been an amazing experience for me. You are paying so much for average food. I think they figured since this is a well off area they could get away with charging crazy prices for average food. Don't get me wrong, the food is okay but nothing better than I could do at home. And the drinks are just meh... plus I ordered a drink for me and a friend to share and made sure she knew it was one drink to share and she brought out 2 drinks and when I reminded her she gave me a dirty look and walked away... then proceeded to charge us for 2 drinks. And their chicken was soooo dry!!! This is the second or third time I have been here and this was the first bad experience I have had with staff but I have never loved my food... so many other places around with way better food/ambiance for a way better price read more

This restaurant has some great things going for it including an amazing location with plenty of outside dining overlooking a waterway. Also, the maitre d worked his magic to accommodate. But fundamentally, you cannot charge NYC prices and not deliver on the food and service. Cocktails were average at best. Wine did not arrive until halfway through the meal. And the food was just ok. The food here was delicious, the pizza was the perfect meal for a 11 year old and the oysters and pasta were a perfect for an adult! (Had leftovers) the service here was impeccable. The waiters were extremely friendly, always asking if you wanted refills and we're super speedy with your drinks even though our food took a little bit longer we knew that because when we called ahead, they gave us a heads up, which was extremely amazing so we knew that we should eat a snack before we came. The atmosphere/ambience was amazing with a musician who was super friendly to little kids and played some amazing classical music with some songs. I absolutely LOVE everything about MiraMare, Naples. They have a wonderful new cocktail menu with Ketel One Espresso Tini that is going to be my new favorite drink for season. The tuna tartare brings me back to vacationing in Taormina in 2019. Capers, Roma tomatoes and garlic crostini make it light but the perfect savory Happy Hour snack before dinner. For dinner we had the Halibut special (featured in the photo) and the Veal Parm. Mmmmmm. The staff is wonderful, especially Simon, my server for this last weekend.
