I had misplaced my only key to my minivan and finally after 2 days of looking, I decided to find out how much it may cost to have a locksmith come out for this "automobile lockout" (although the doors were not locked, its the same key for the ignition). I called Abraham over the phone and explained I just bought a tool chest that didn't come with two key to be able to lock/unlock the drawers. I explained the locks had a four digit number in them and if he could try and make a key for both locks. After a very short time he had made the two keys. I went home to see if they worked. The key in my Honda Pilot wouldn't turn. All my YouTube research pointed to a problem inside the key lock cylinder, but when Abraham arrived he noticed it was a different, rarer problem. He verified the key lock cylinder was good to be thorough, and then he worked on fixing the real problem within the rest of the ignition assembly. His knowledge and experience were invaluable. He had the key turning again in no time, all from the convenience of my driveway. I also had him make me a new key. I lost the key to my Kia and ripped the house apart looking for two days! I got another quote before contacting Miranda Locksmith and they quoted higher and said they needed the key code from Kia. When I called Kia their database was down and they couldn't give it to me. After everything went wrong, I got a message back from Miranda Locksmith that they could come out and get me the key for cheaper with no request for the key code. When he came out the next morning, he called to let me know he was here and when I walked out he pulled my key out of his pocket. He said he found it sitting on the hood and someone must have left it. I still decided to get another key in case something like this happens again. Unfortunately, the after market remote didn't end up working, but he cut me a basic key to open the door on the spot and ordered the correct remote.
