We discovered this place strolling in the street. Very good choice for a breakfast as I isn't a place written in the guide. Designed place with some fresh air and the food Tastes so good !

Excellent brunch menu! There is a section called breakfast of champions - I had the "deportista" which was super copa vista (yogurt parfait with honey and walnuts and fresh fruit) and Peggy toast (scrambled eggs on tomato and toast) for 7.90 euros. Excellent meal! My parfait came out first and really hit the spot with some health fruit and yogurt. It was a rather large portion. The Peggy toast was so simple yet so good. Perfectly cooked eggs. My hubby has the Mexicana - ranchero eggs with rice, beans and guacamole also 7.90 euros. I tried a bit of the rice and it was flavoured very nicely with some butter and something else. He enjoyed it too. Service was friendly and the lady spoke Spanish but we all understood each other.

Great times. Santiago and the Crew are great and will take your mind back to Hugs and Laughter. Thanks, Sonia & Wolf from Santa Rosa, Ca.

Nice people and great food. Great friends. Was the perfect place to enjoy some great blend of drinks. Nice show drink prep, the shake a shake mix movements . Wish we could have been able to stay longer. Santiago and his crew know how to treat people with hospitality. Thanks again from Wolf &Sonia from Santa Rosa, California

This place is wonderful! The interior is a mix of Art Deco and and kitsch. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We had brunch and the food was tasty! Vegan sandwich is to recommend. You will leave this place with a warm fussy feeling in your tummy and heart!

    Cozy spot.

Cute brunch spot with semi outdoor seating. On a quiet non touristy side street, it was the perfect place to relax. A cafe, pisto casero con huevos, y pan. The ratatouille was so much better than what I've had in NYC wow. The coffee is always too small for me in Europe though. Extra charge for bread is kinda annoying but I got used to it.

There is a piece of plastic wrapper awaiting us inside that sandwich.

Ham and cheese sandwich had a piece of plastic cheese wrapper in it. Had two glasses of wine and they tried to charge us for 4. Waiter was disinterested. Yuck.

Had the most perfect brunch at Miranda. My breakfast was the "athlete" or "sporty" one or something in that realm as far as the name on the menu goes. The bread was so soft and toasted, with a tomato spread and topped with scrambled eggs. Very good! But the parfait took the show. It was HUGE and had big chunks of apple, pear, banana and pineapple in the bottom, then crunchy cereal flakes, granola, and yogurt topped with honey and walnuts. Wowza I would eat that over and over again if I could get back to Madrid!! You won't be disappointed with this breakfast :)

Super fast service. Probably fastest ever. Walking distance from Cat's hostel. This parfait thing is fuego.

Fastest service I think I've ever experienced anywhere. Their parfait thing I just ordered is mad good.

Spicy Salmon Tartar with a base of Avocado - delicious.

Quaint place - a restaurant and cocktail bar. The staff is great. I had the Caprese Salad to start, followed by the spicy salmon tartar. Both were delicious and fresh. Nice little gem of a place.

    So yummy !

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place that served a type of brunch, and this was the perfect spot! We ordered their potatoes with eggs & ham, and another dish that resembled taquitos served with delicious guacamole & cream cheese! Also their coffee was great because they serve Nespresso. Atmosphere is lovely too! We would definitely return just to try their desserts and other things.

This chocolateria has been in business for over 130 years, so it was probably safe to assume they…read moreknow how to make chocolate and just as essentially, the churros upon which their chocolate clings. Based on the definitive opinions of travel vloggers, this appeared to be the place to get the fabled chocolate con churros. Jamie W and I made our way here through the labyrinth of streets near Puerta del Sol. It was early evening so no surprise there was a queue, but it moved quickly because this historic place was a model of efficiency. It's the type of place where you need to be ready to order the moment you're in front of the hostess. Luckily, we had made mental notes of what to order from one particular vlogger, so we were ready. It only took a minute to secure one of their marble cafe tables. Our order arrived fairly quickly. It consisted of a 2,5€ plate of Churros, six long sticks of chewy, delicious dough. Unlike the Mexican version, it wasn't dusted with sugar because the 3,7€ cup of Hot Chocolate was more than enough (Photo 8). Incredibly rich and only lightly sweetened. The churros might've been enough for a neophyte, but we double-downed with a 2,5€ order of two Porros (Photo 7). Porras are a thicker, doughier version of churros, so of course, they were our favorites because they really held the chocolate with assurance. Even though we went through two cups of hot chocolate, we still had 2,4€ cups of Cafes con Leche to wash it all down (Photo 10). It was an ideal dessert experience because who doesn't love awesome doughnuts? Definitely a must-gorge when in Madrid. FOOD - 5 stars...the motherlode when it comes to chocolate con churros...get the porros AMBIANCE - 4 stars...crowded but historically atmospheric with enough elbow room SERVICE - 4 stars...speedy TOTAL - 5 stars...pretty essential Madrid experience RELATED - Exploring Madrid? Churros con Chocolate -- 10/10: literally who am i to judge a churro recipe/spot that has been…read moreserving the same recipe 24/7 since 1894 loool ofc it was phenomenal!!! i fear i will never find another churro as good as this. the chocolate dipping sauce was also so good i wanted to drink it Tucked into an alley in Puerta de Sol is this vintage chocolateria. Stepping into the alley feels like you're entering a vintage postcard. The workers were nice and I had a very pleasant time enjoying my churros and admiring the history and decor inside.
