Good place in Madrid for Breakfast/Brunch - maybe lunch and dinner too, but we went for a late breakfast, and so that is what we had and what I am reviewing. Food was good, prices decent - less than $5 for continental breakfast (bread item + coffee)... eggs + meat items $12-$15 euros. Service was mediocre. We were on the 3rd floor and felt like they kinda forgot about us. But the place was nice inside and clean. They also had outside (al fresco) seating, and the food & coffee was actually pretty good. Decent portion also, so they earned their 4 out of 5 stars.

Little bit of a line at 9-10 in the morning on a weekday but was pretty fast moving. We had the Iberico brunch set for 20 euros and shared it between the two of us and it was delicious! The bread (which normally is unmemorable) was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It's perfect on it's own or dipped in the famous tomato soup. The prosciutto and Spanish omelette were also very tasty and the french toast on the side was soo good (and not too sweet!). Plus you get coffee and a juice included.

I went here 2 times while i was in Madrid, the food was reasonable price for the good quality. We tried a few different breakfast items. I was impressed with the quality and presentation. The restaurant itself is very detailed to make it feel like you're dining at a clean barn. I highly recommend the restaurant and will come back next time i am here.

Some kind of French toast. A bit squishy for my tastes, but some might like it that way.

Great little side street breakfast/brunch spot. Perfect for full meal, just a coffee or even a quick beer. Indoor and outdoor seating marries it perfect for all weather.

I lived in Madrid for about 6 months and every time I visit I have to go back to my favorite cafe La Rollerie. Great coffee and food that I love introducing my friends to. I love the desayuno andaluz and the olive oils that pair so nicely.

Went here for brunch. Service was slow and the place seemed understaffed. We had to flag down a waiter for almost everything. We walked in and after standing around for around 5 min they were able to seat us. Ordered the Iberian brunch and the English breakfast with an extra basket of bread. The breads were warm and good. My Iberian brunch came with a cinnamon roll that was dry and had little cinnamon inside. We asked for butter and jam, and they charged extra. The sunny side up and scrambled eggs that we received had no salt or pepper on them, though the eggs were of good quality. My Iberian ham was super salty, and the tomato sauce it came with had a strange taste. The juices, tea, and coffee were as expected. They gave me a full teapot for my tea which was appreciated. Not super satisfying or seasoned, unfortunately. The chairs were uncomfortable, though the place was spacious and nicely decorated.

My friend and I only came here for breakfast. I got a yogurt bowl, while she got an egg on a tortilla. But dishes and the coffee and infused tea were pretty average, but the yogurt did come with a good amount of granola and fruit on top.

What an excellent brunch. Our last day in the wonderful Madrid and we had the perfect going away breakfast. Maria our waitress was exceptional and the service super fast for being so full of customers. A treasure in the middle of Major square area.

I ordered the Mexican breakfast, a latte, and a churro. The churro wasn't my favorite. The Mexican breakfast was devilish, but it wasn't hot when it came out. The food was ready quickly, and it's very cheap here. This is a good place to go for breakfast!

Looking for a breakfast spot? Look no further! This place was the bomb. They have a couple of spots around the city but this one is for the one near the main plaza (Plaza Mayor). I ordered some bread with a tomato type sauce and ham. Family ordered some eggs Benedict and claim it was the best they've ever had. The tea, the juice, everything in general was very very good. The customer service was amazing and were very patient explaining the differences in some stuff. We speak spanish fluently but some stuff is called something else. They also have sweet bread for all the bread lovers out there. Anyway, you should try it out. Definitely inexpensive and the portions are awesome. We ended up going twice to this place and will go again next time we are in town. So, check it out and follow our instagram travel vlog @thehungrynomadz.

Finally! A yummy brunch place in Madrid that doesn't break the bank, yet is more than a cafe. The brunch menu offers several different types of brunches: English, American, Spanish, etc. They come with eggs served your way, a type of ham/bacon, beans (if English), churros (if Spanish), etc. The meal also comes with coffee or tea, and orange juice, pancakes, and a yogurt parfait. I ordered the large yogurt bowl, and it was as pretty as it was delicious. It came with coconut, raisins, granola, pineapple, and apples on top. Mmmmm. The mimosas are huge and are only a 3€ add-on if you ordered the brunch. There are also many good baked goods and several seating options here. Would recommend!

    Quaint indoor seating upstairs

Recommended by our hotel in Madrid, La Rollerie was a great spot for breakfast if you want more than just a pastry.

Scrambled Eggs and bread breakfast was fine tasting. Service was molasses slow. Bright and light upstairs and downstairs tables.

Based on the definitive opinions of travel vloggers, this appeared to be the place to get the fabled chocolate con churros. Jamie W and I made our way here through the labyrinth of streets near Puerta del Sol. It was early evening so no surprise there was a queue, but it moved quickly because this historic place was a model of efficiency. It's the type of place where you need to be ready to order the moment you're in front of the hostess. Luckily, we had made mental notes of what to order from one particular vlogger, so we were ready. It only took a minute to secure one of their marble cafe tables. Our order arrived fairly quickly. It consisted of a 2,5€ plate of Churros, six long sticks of chewy, delicious dough. Unlike the Mexican version, it wasn't dusted with sugar because the 3,7€ cup of Hot Chocolate was more than enough (Photo 8). Incredibly rich and only lightly sweetened. The churros might've been enough for a neophyte, but we double-downed with a 2,5€ order of two Porros (Photo 7). Porras are a thicker, doughier version of churros, so of course, they were our favorites because they really held the chocolate with assurance. Even though we went through two cups of hot chocolate, we still had 2,4€ cups of Cafes con Leche to wash it all down (Photo 10). It was an ideal dessert experience because who doesn't love awesome doughnuts? Definitely a must-gorge when in Madrid.
