My order: Tandoori Chicken, plain naan, complimentary rice and a mango sweet side dish
    Elisabeth L.

Ordered some takeout on a Friday afternoon, was looking forward to a nostalgic Indian like I used to have in the UK... alas, cannot wish for the same thing in Lubbock. The spices albeit being "mild" were still veryyyy spicy (so if you love spicy food, you'll love Mirch Masala, just not my preference) and the chicken for $20 was pretty much an entire chicken butchered in 4 pieces. Was a bit disappointed as I had hoped the chicken was already cut up in lean pieces, as I'm health conscious and ordered tandoori as it is a more healthy option on an Indian menu. Overall, very great service very accommodating, however doesn't compare to the real deal. Good place to eat Indian in Texas.

Phenomenal Indian food! We were blown away by this place. They were generous with protein portions and it was just so flavorful, will be back! Got chicken 65, samosa chaat and chicken tikka masala!

AMAZING. Better than Tikka Shack if you like REAL Indian food. The owner was there when we arrived, and we were immediately greeted. He offered us samples, told us about how the food is made FRESH DAILY, and told us that all meats are bought fresh/never frozen. The food was SO. GOOD. He also said that the menu changes every day except for the butter chicken which stays constant because of its popularity. I also loved the store inside! Please go here and give it a shot!

Ordered chicken tikka and baingan bharta to go--both very flavorful, not greasy, and great portion sizes. Will come back!

I've always driven passed this international market and told all my African friends about it, but the day after church that I decided to stop by to check things out was the day that I found my favourite little shop in Lubbock. Yes, I am telling you along for the journey was my Kenyan friend, she was so thrilled to find this store carries all her childhood snacks and tea that she used to enjoy back home. For myself, I found my absolute favourite snack that I've been searching for quite some time, deglet dates. Surprisingly enough they were distributed out of Southwest Houston. Also, I've found and bought a whole case of bad onions mixed with good onions for only $3. Originally, the owner wanted to trash them, but me being a gardener. I planted some, gave some to my friends, and cooked with the rest. They sell jackfruit whole, jackfruit in a can (green, bitter), and sweet jackfruit in a can (dessert). All kinds of spices, legumes, beans, and rice in bulk, and for the love of Indian snacks -- (great study snack) they have all kinds ranging from cookies to dried spicy chips. In the freezer section, you will find frozen chapati (which my friend was happy to find), naan, samosas, and vegetables, fish, and meats. In the refrigerated section, you will find dairy products, flavoured drinks, and etc. I'm a frequent shopper at this store. The owners (the lady) is the nicest, wow, incredibly welcoming every time I go, the consistency is amazing! I wish I could have gotten that from any Indian supermarket I've stepped into in Houston (nope, oddly enough was treated far worse). From the outside, it states that anyone can find, "East Asian, African, Persian, Mediterranean, Bangladesh, Middle East, and Pakistan" foods here, the selection is vast for a small store. Plantains, Jackfruit, Yucca, Onions, Okra, Eggplant, etc. They got it all and for a nice affordable price. Even open on Sundays. Check them out!

The food was fresh and tasty, except the portions were small for the amount money charged.

This store has a very friendly staff with a good variety of foods. They have a great deal of offering 6 pieces of large pita for $1.89.

I cannot imagine what made the shop keeper here treat us as he did. First, we were followed around the store by some obese woman with no personal space boundaries. She might have well been crawling into my husbands back pocket. By this time I had my hands full with at least 5 items I wanted to purchase. We made our way down another isle towards the front of the store, fat lady still in tow. It was at the front of the store again when my husband looked up and made eye contact with a man behind the counter, who subtlely shook his head at him. My husband was so offended, he had me put down my selections and immediately leave. It wasnt til we were in the car that he told me what the man did, and with the woman up our backs, they were treating us as if we planned to shoplift. I am stunned by this. And saddened. I will never again shop there. Though it had been years since my last visit, I most certainly will never spend money there again. I can find the same knick knacks online, with better customer service, and probably better pricing.

This really isn't the best Office Depot at all. I go here because it's close to my small business,…read morebut I have to say it's definitely a let down. I have had strange instances over the past couple of years where an employee could have found me the same desk that I wanted at another Lubbock location, but instead chose to order it. After ordering it the main company promised it by the end of the week and then I get notified that the desk would take up to three weeks to arrive. Fortunately, after calling the local manager he apologized and got a replacement at the Slide Rd. location set up for me. Another instance of problems was very unusual. The cashier printed my receipt as I requested but instead of handing it to me, he just tears it in half and throws it away. I asked why did he do that, I have a business and need it for taxes. He looked confused and said he didn't know what to do. I asked him to give me the two halves and I'd tape it back together. Today I purchased printer ink and air freshener and instead of the cashier telling me that I had unused rewards, she just rang it up and now I received an e-mail notification that they are about to expire in a couple of weeks. I could have used them today and saved some money. This location is just weird and frustrating. Don't go there for office supplies, especially if you run a business. I think I've hit the end of my patience with these folks.

On most recent visit I placed an order in the print department for a small job that they said would take 2 hours. I arrived back 2 1/2 hours later and the employee indicated he was too busy and had not started my job. I went back later that evening a little before closing and it was still not ready. This store is VERY understaffed, the staff that does work there is almost zombie like, they do not greet you when you arrive, keep their heads down until you are the next customer and Management should require employees to wash their hair. Two of the men working there (on up front at cash register & one in print shop) had greasy hair that was obviously dirty. The young man in the print shop also smelled badly.
