I like their food here. The Drunken Noodle dish is my go-to. They are fried well, definitely not over-cooked and soggy. The noodles are al dente and chewy. The spices are stronger than the others but not over-powering. The shrimp are always cooked just right. I always enjoy the papaya salad. It is not as sour as any that I have had but still enjoyable as a savory palate cleanser. I don't get it with the chicharrones since I do not like having them soggy from the juices. The Lao sausages too are very good. I can taste the lemongrass, kaffir lime and galangal (?), I think. I would definitely like a little bit more heat though. They go so very well with the slight tartness of the papaya salad and just hot steamed rice! The place is also clean and airy inside. It just adds a better atmosphere for me. The staff are definitely very friendly, helpful and cheerful. You won't find them in a rush to serve you. read more

We got the summer rolls, basil fried rice with tofu no egg, drunken noodle with tofu and sesame balls. Our waitress was super sweet and really helpful. We had a fully vegan meal here -- rare to find in Lubbock. We sat outside and it was really cute. It looks like they're going to plant a nice garden and we can't wait for that. Edit: I saw the three star review saying it's not spicy enough. Our waitress forgot to ask us what spice level we wanted so WE asked and got a proper spice level. Nice to have yet another Thai joint in the Hub City and this one may end up beating them all. Pad key mow and Lao sausage were tops. Spicy papaya salad was also great, but beware...any time you order something with "spicy" in the name in a Thai joint, it's gonna light you up. Service with a smile was great. There may be some who complain about food being brought out in strange order (e.g., appetizers after entrees, etc.), but that's 100% Thai authentic! read more
