    Indian specialty lunch menu

This is where we come for spicy comfort food in the Southern Tier! It's "seat yourself", so make yourself at home! Many times I've come as a single diner and eaten at the bar: It's a very cozy experience. Lots of vegetarian choices here, and if you like seafood, try the fish pakora bites: It's spicy and authentic! Friendly and efficient wait staff. Friday nightl live music 5:30 - 9:00.

This is my favorite Indian place in the area. They also offer other food cuisines as well like Greek and Italian. The staff is super friendly but please be patient as they do not have many people working. We started off with the potato samosa and veggie pakoras which were amazing. My favorite is the chicken Bryiani and butter chicken.

    Chicken Vindaloo?

Recently in Olean for business. Ive ordered Indian and Nepalese many times in different places. I don't know if I just made a bad choice, but I thought my chicken vindaloo order was mixed up for soup. Im used to vindaloo having a thicker consistency. Was very watery and bland, missing the strong aromas and flavors I typically find in vindaloo, tikka masala, etc. Naan and basmati were okay. Would also stay away from the mango lassi, mightve had too much ice since the flavor and consistency seemed really off. Overall seemed like very americanized indian food on the pricier side. Would not mind paying these prices for Indian done right. This did not satisfy my cravings for the flavors and aroma Indian dishes usually have and left me wishing I went elsewhere.

5 stars for Hector! He was an incredible waiter, knowledgeable about the menu, and definitely went the extra mile. The food wasn't very spicy but he brought some chili powder and peppers for us to add to it. We were hoping for some spicier sauces and powders considering the name of the restaurant translates to "spicy". The Naan bread was delicious and thick. The samosas were freshly made with a distinguished taste. The palak aloo was only alright. I was hoping for more zest and flavor. Regardless, it was still quite tasty and definitely very authentic. I hope to come back here next time I'm in town!

    Awesome chutneys!

We need a break from the usual places in the city so we took a trip down to ski country…read more We walked in and noticed we were the first customers in there. We took a seat in the back with a view of the mountains and started to watch the skiers. The dining area was large and clean, and the waitress came and got our food and drink orders moving quickly. Our little yelper opted for none other than the children's tenders. She ate almost all of them and the fries, they got a thumbs up review. The waitress was even nice enough to hook our kid up with a nice helping of pickles too. The misses opted for the pulled pork melt, even with the mafia sauce she told me it was rather bland in the flavor department but the onion rings were sizable and crispy. I opted for the chicken Caesar salad, but there was some miscommunications in the kitchen and I wound up with steak (not a bad thing) but our waitress asked if it was ok. Steak was cooked perfectly and the salad itself was piled high. Overall, not a bad dining experience, it should be a 3 , but the awesome service took it up a notch. She really helped make the meal more enjoyable.

Terrible, unhappy I came here on my ski trip with kids-…read more Ordered Caesar salad and was served a bowl of lettuce. Plain lettuce. Weird and sad. Wings (12 in an order with celery) came with 10, no celery, no sauce, and overcooked. Do not recommend. We are leaving and are still hungry. Waste of 50 dollars. Dining area very cold. We had our coats on while eating.

Stopped in for a midweek lunch and immediately loved the chilly air conditioning!…read more This was a good place to see a World Cup match: It was broadcast on multiple screens throughout the restaurant. I enjoyed the meal of salmon, broccoli and garlic mashed: It was just the right size for a hungry person. Some feedback for corporate: Please teach your staff to stop saying, "Just you?" when a single woman is in the establishment. It's the 21st century, we earn our own money, and nobody needs a chaperone after the age of 14. It was said by the hostess and two servers, and I cringed every time. I'm not going to embarrass people in their workplace, but this has got to stop. Now.

She didn't smile once or make any small talk or eye contact what-so-ever with a single person seated around the bar. My first drink had a chip in the rim I didn't see and on my 2nd sip it cut my lip. It makes sense because she slams glassed and bottles around behind the bar. I told the bartender, she didn't even give me a napkin with a bloody lip or apologize for it. She took the chipped glass to her manager who then came out and apologized. She remade it, but still charged me for the remake. This is petty, it's a $1 drink! She then cut my friend off at 5 beers loudly and embarrassingly. We refused to tip her. She literally caused a scene over it, why am I going to tip someone who acts like they hate every customer and coworker? She was terrible and had the personality of a wet paper bag. She only cared about being fast not friendly. Very unwelcoming and loud like she hated being there throwing buckets in the sink, slamming cups down on the counter, slamming bottles around...
