I am so disappointed... first of all I had called in the morning to see if they could squeeze me in last minute as I was going on vaca 2 days later...the 2 techs on duty (I assume the owners) had no clue what I was asking for... so they gave me an answer of 3 choices, I made the appt for later in the day figuring I would just explain then. I came in that evening with my natural nails...2 of which were shorter then the others. All I wanted was a gel French manicure but wanted the 2 nails extended to match the length of the others and was asking if they used the UV gel builder you would use with the sticky forms to extd, they still had no idea what I was talking about...is this not a thing? Bks I have had it used before... they begin to tell me they only have dip, gel polish and acrylic...then began to say that if I wanted to extend I had to do the acrylic... ok fine no big deal even though I didn't want the acrylic bks it damages the nails. The acrylic was laid and filed down...she did the French and I had asked about doing a design on the ring finger... I told her flowers would be a nice touch since I was going on a vaca. She had me pick a color for the flowers and I picked a popping pink which is really pretty. All said and done I was charged 75$ and I left. I get home in lighting and the acrylic is super chunky on some nails, the white lines of the French are all different sizes and crooked and the lines don't even go all the way over to the edge. And the flowers are a fricken joke! Who wears that?! A 5 yr old... to say the least I am so hoping I can find a salon who can fix this mess before vacation read more

Have you ever gotten a pedicure and had to come home and redo it yourself? This was a first for me. I normally go to a different nail spa, but I received a gift card to here and was excited to try them out. I even opted to upgrade to an "extra care" pedicure priced at $40 so my feet would be extra pretty before my vacation. This overpriced pedi offered nothing more than the $25 pedi at my regular nail spa. And it was far worse. Let me start by saying, the woman providing the service was extremely kind & did an excellent job of exfoliating. But...I was left with ragged cuticles which were covered in polish, polish along the sides of my nails & noticeably crooked shaped nails. Everything felt quite rushed. No massage. Perhaps I'm just used to something different or a different level of quality, but needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

Our first time here was awesome! Walked in at 9:15 am Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and they actually seated us and started before their opening hour of 9:30 am. The entire staff was really friendly and we felt so welcome from walk in to walk out. We now know it's best to make an appointment for weekends, we just got lucky walking in today. Moving to Woodbury from California we have tried several salons trying to find one equal to Sassy Nails in SoCal, we miss our Jennifer . This Salon experience was pretty darn close with service, friendliness, cleanliness, pricing, professionalism and atmosphere. I think we just found our new go to salon for mani-pedicures. read more

Do not get your waxing done here. The girl who did mine had no experience and kept sweating and apologizing. She knew she was doing a bad job. Either train your staff or don't let them work there. I will never go back. Worst experience! read more

What a lovely place!! I'm upset I didn't find it sooner. Chris is just amazing!! I stopped into my usual place in the stop n shop plaza and they denied me telling me they attractive closing in an hour and didn't have time. I got acrylic nails done here, the price wasn't too bad however for the results it was too high. The actual manicure was fine, nothing too much to note other than the lady making me bleed twice. But I have a high pain tolerance and the skin around my nail is weak so I don't really blame her. And my nails looked nice, so I payed, tipped and left. Three days later, one of my nails fell off. After just three days!?!?! Acrylics are supposed to last at least two weeks! So I went out and bought nail glue and put it back on. And now I have the same three nails that keep falling off and I have to re glue. So I know it's not my nails because it's only those three falling off and I'm not doing anything that ripes them off or anything. I'm going back to try and see what they can do for those nails and see how much it costs. read more

Mire spa was probably one of the worst nail salons I've been to. The male owner did my nails and he was horrible. He barely cleaned my cuticles and did a super rushed gel paint job. They're attempting to be an upscale salon but they have some serious improvements and growth to make. I would not recommend this salon to anyone that's particular about their nails. read more

The owner does an amazing job shaping nails and cleaning cuticles. They are very accommodating and always willing to work past closing time. Even after hours they don't make you feel like a burden or rush through. Being the last appointment after a long day I usually expect my nails to not be perfect. Been coming for here for years for my Nails and pedicures. Christy does a great job in everything she does. She just added Microbladding to her many talents. She took the time to do a consult first, draw the look and took pictures. So she and I could review. The day of service she took me to private room , measured, took pictures , numb the area. All her instruments were new and taken out of packaging as we waited for the numbing. She explain every step she did and continually asked me to make sure I was comfortable thru the whole process. She even checked in on me during the days following to see how I was doing. I returned a few weeks later for a touch up. I now have beautiful brows where before there were none. One of the worst manicures I have ever received and more expensive than all the other places in town. I always hesitate to come back but do very occasionally and I am always disappointed. The staff is never friendly, especially the woman and man owners. The tech never tells you about not putting the tip on your credit card in advance, they don't really help you when you have questions and act annoyed. I would take and post screenshots of my nails and how bad they look but then they would know who I was. Gloppy. Cuticles awful. Paint on my skin. I could do a better job myself. And no massage? Used to love going there but not anymore. You can't request the nail tech of your choice so if you get the person who did a horrible job last time then you are stuck. They play the same music over and over. Owner is not friendly. If she or he is fighting with the staff then you will feel the tension in the air. My pedis are usually ok. My last two manicures were messy. Done by a man who is the owner. Very disappointed. I probably will not go back because I hate feeling lime I wasted money on something I could have dine at home. read more

Went here with my new sister-in-law the day before her wedding. We both got manicures and pedicures. They did a great job and did not rush at all. The pedicure was the best. She used a scrub, hot stones, and lotions and the filing and painting she did looks great. She also did a great job on my manicure. At my normal salons, I feel they rush you through drying, but they did not rush me at all. That could be the norm, or it could be because it wasn't very busy. They offered a free massage while my nails are drying, but I felt bad taking it since I didn't have any small bills left to tip so I declined. No I can't offer any feedback on that. It is days later and my nails still look great, which I have never not messed up my nails within 48hours. read more

Absolutely amazing. I have never been to a better salon or beauty store in my life. I got eyelashes tinted mani pedi as well as a few waxes. Their specials are superb. And their prices are affordable. Ana was great. Christie is very knowledgable and all the employees were polite, careful and very skilled. I will certainly be going back again soon. If I wasn't totally pleased with their performance and quality of their work, I wouldn't have continued to go there every two weeks for all of these years. Owners Chris and her husband Mark are always pleasant, warmly receptive and professional. No one does a better French Manicure than Chris! Over the years I have seen the spa handle very busy periods such as bridal and prom parties, as well as crazy holiday business. Always handled perfectly! Appointments are always met on time, even during those busy times! They now offer Eyebrow Microblading, Shading and Feathering. Chris performs these services with the same friendly professionalism she shows with everything she does. I come from an era where we used to pluck the heck out of our eyebrows to make them super thin. As my generation reaches our older years, very little of those eyebrows grow back. After going to Chris, I now have beautiful eyebrows where before I had next to none. And......I'm pretty sure I look just a little bit younger as a result!
