Wow. If you're looking for where to play in Memphis, just stop here. This was one of the best overall experiences I've had at a golf course. Great value for the money spent. Extremely peaceful and relaxing terrain. (Minus the fairways being fairly tight -- so I hit a lot of irons off the tee) Fairways, greens, bunkers, and tee boxes all in great shape. I will say the course could have used a little bit of a water to help soften it up -- although it was evening golf in the summer -- but that still wouldn't deter me from coming back. read more

This golf course is near and dear to my heart. I grew up playing there when I was playing college golf. The management is fantastic. The general manager was absolutely wonderful! I've since moved away but this place will ALWAYS be one of my favorite places to play! read more

Love the course! The old man at the first tee was a real jerk! I had a 8:40 tee time I was at the putting green at 8:20 and he told me to go out with a two some or I was gonna have to wait till 9:20 cause he had nothing but foursomes till then. I told him I would wait. Then low and behold at 8:40 a two some showed up that I played with. As I was driving off he had a real nasty tone and told me to slow down. A gentleman's game doesn't start like that, unfortunately that is the only reason I won't be back. The greens were plugged and not in good shape at all. read more

This golf course is fantastic. From the warm greeting/ride to the club house when you arrive, the free range balls for warm up, and the great hot dog at the turn. This is before you even get to the golf. The course itself is gorgeous, perfectly manicured, and challenging. The layout of each hole really takes advantage of the local environment, encompassing the beauty of the surroundings. Mirimichi is really an unexpected, hidden gem off of Hwy 51. I plan to play here, and play often. read more

The beauty, amenities and staff can not be beat at Mirimichi. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave the experience is wonderful. The Saturday we played we were met in the parking lot by a young man who loaded our clubs to our cart and met us at the front door. The staff in the golf shop and the Marshall were very helpful. The course is challenging and fun. Give your self plenty of time to play as the course can get very backed up. The day we played they were making food in the club house at the turn. The hamburgers and hot dogs that are available are very generous and delicious. I look forward to returning very soon. read more

Played this course after a 45 minute downpour and lightning. Clubhouse staff sent me out right after and were very courteous and friendly. The course itself was incredible. From tee to green the course was in great shape. The greens are tricky but roll great and hold even better. The layout is extremely challenging and also eventful for the eyes. Not much elevation change but nice rolling hills and undulation through out all 18. This was my second time to play here and I will be back if I am in the area again. Absolutely one of the best courses I have played. It is very friendly for all skill levels including the ladies. I would play here everyday if I could. So I attempted to golf again... For my third time ever seriously trying I really had a great day! We played the "little mirimichi" which is a small 9 hole course separate from the main 18 holes. I loved playing the little one because we were literally the only people on the course so I didn't get nervous since people weren't breathing down my back to hit next. I shot a 46 on 9 holes and I am still very impressed with myself! The venue is absolutely the most beautiful golf course I have ever seen. The club house is immaculate and all the employees are extremely helpful.They have the most beautiful outdoor club house up on the hill of the main 18, it would be a perfect place for a rehearsal dinner or reception. To play the little mirimichi it is only $20 and you get all the range balls you want! You really can't beat that! I can't wait to play again! read more

I am altering the review. I was scheduled to take friends there on Monday May 2. There has been massive flooding in the area and Mirimichi sent out an email stating they would close for several weeks. I know Greg King and his staff will get the course up to snuff after the weather has subsided. I look forward to reviewing Mirimichi again as soon as they reopen. read more

I've played a lot of courses in a lot of states and this is my favorite! This is by far the most beautiful public course available for the price. The clubhouse and staff were great! The course and facilities make you feel like you're playing a private club. Mr. Timberlake spared no expense in the renovation and management of this gem! Just go and enjoy the game the way it should be played! This course really was therapeutic for me. It is tough and I didn't particularly shoot well, but I didn't care! I enjoyed every minute. Definitely worth the drive from Memphis! read more

Course in really good shape. Greens roll nicely, a little slow compared to practice green. Beverage cart service doesn't start until 10am. Was ready for water and Gatorade by time came around. Mirimichi is definitely an above average golf course, especially for the Memphis area. It is not in a particularly nice area, and the course is pretty far out of the way, but once one makes the journey it will be worth it. Justin Timberlake's name is all over the place once you arrive as it is clear that he saved this once-failing golf course. They have an eighteen hole championship course, as well as a junior course for those who want to pay less and still wack the little white ball around. The clubhouse is pretty tiny compared to some others I have seen in the area, and the driving range isn't the best. The putting green is also pretty far away from the clubhouse and it took us a few minutes to actually locate it. The course itself is pretty much what you would expect from a well respected course like this one. The front nine I didn't think was really anything that special, but once you arrive on the back nine you can see why this course has received such good reviews. It is fun to play, in good shape, and very challenging. The course is fun and will put you to the test, so I certainly recommend it. read more

I came with my family from Pennsylvania to visit my dad in Tennessee. I'm always looking for new courses to play wherever I go. I have to say, without a doubt, this is one of the most amazing courses I've ever played. Perfect layout. Beautiful scenery. The most well-maintained course I've ever played. The golf course was great. It exceeds all expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I played from white tees but their are several sets of tees to play from. You can play from about 5000 yards to 7400 yards, what ever makes you comfortable. I would rate the course and staff more than 5 star if I could. I live an hour and a half away but I will be making that trip several times a year to play that exceptional course. My wife rode with me as she often does and she said it was one of if not the prettiest courses she had ever seen and I've played all over the US. read more

Had an amazing time golfing this morning at Mirimichi. The course was challenging, but there were 4 sets of tees to choose from, so you can pick the one that best suits your play. They were getting it ready for spring so there were a few holes being worked on, but this did not detract from the good time. The staff was helpful and informative. Well worth the short drive out to the countryside. Very reasonably priced. If you go, take a minute to really soak in the beauty of the views and the sounds of wildlife. (By the way, if you have a big slice, bring a few extra golf balls!) read more
