I'm traveling cross country and felt called to this spot because it felt like the PNW. I was welcomed with open arms and spent hours here working on a project. The coffee just wasn't very good unfortunately. The area was sketchy, and I can't understand going here unless you're into skating. For skaters, this place may be grand. For coffee snobs, it's just ok. The young guy behind the counter didn't seem very aware of how to prepare a quality drink. read more

Most Awesome Coffee Shop / Skate Park in Memphis, TN you will ever find. Even has a pro shop where my son bought some new wheels for his board after he was done skating! Coffee and baked cookies were the bomb! Great place! If you are passing through Memphis like we were, gotta stop here! read more

Solid new coffee shop + skatepark. I can only comment on what I know, so I'll leave the skatepark review to others, but the coffee shop aspect is SOLID. I had heard of their opening a few months ago, but waited until recently to try it out, and was impressed. I love the chill vibe, natural light, and ample seating. I've tried both hot and iced lattes, iced mocha, and their iced tea. All terrific options. I do hope they expand their menu though, maybe include some more "specialty" drinks or seasonal options, but this will do for now. Their snacks are delicious as well. I definitely recommend the rice krispy treats! Overall this is a great new place to drop in for coffee, and I'm eager to see what they do moving forward. read more

Has decent options for food and drinks. The skate park is nice and has a wide range of ramps and rails. It is great that they have rental skate boards and pads but is a bit pricey. Good atmosphere for skaters to hang out, but the bathroom was slightly dirty and there was some clutter, cups and such on the tables and chairs. Definitely a younger generation hangout. But, a good option at that. read more

As much as I wanted to love this place, it was painfully average. I will preface by saying I am not a skater but was hoping to watch some cool skate tricks while sipping on some coffee. The pictures are a bit misleading- you cannot see the skating area from the coffee shop. The coffee itself was not great- I got a latte and it tasted like plain milk with a hint of bitter. It ended up throwing most of it away :/ It was served in a plain to go cup even though we were dining in. The barista was nice though so no hate. If you're a skater, this does seem like a great place to meet others with a similar hobby! read more

My daughter and I stopped here because we saw a sign on Broad. Local coffee, which we like to support, so we decided to try it. I had doubts because maybe the coffee is just a gimmicky thing to offer with a skatepark, but I was wrong. When you enter it's a chill cafe (tone is set by the minimalist modern design and music) that happens to have a skate shop at the side. No sign of an indoor skate park, and we didn't ask about it. Bottom line: the coffee is ridiculously good. We each got iced mochas. Made with freshly ground, heavenly scented beans, this is the smoothest cold espresso with the right amount of chocolate. Super rich. Super delightful. You need this. read more

Brought my 11 year old here to skate on a rainy Saturday. He has been interested in trying this sport, but didn't have all the necessary gear. They rent it all! All the gear plus entry fee was $20 for the day, come and go as you please. Laid back atmosphere, friendly skaters. He said he wanted to live here, which is a nice complement. They have instructors with a reservation, but he was given some helpful advice from other skaters and is having a fine time. We will definitely be back. read more

Total gem of a place! A friend recommended this place when I was looking for somewhere for my daughter to practice her skateboarding. I looked it up, found out they have Saturday morning lessons, and amazing hours. Plus - coffee? Count me in! We got there, my daughter got a lesson and spent time afterwards free-skating. Meanwhile, I spent time sipping coffee and reading a book on the couch. We have been multiple times, and each time has been a great visit. Daughter skates, I park myself either with my laptop (free wifi, y'all) at one of the tables, or on the couch / in a chair with a book, and of course, a latte. This cafe rivals any coffee I've ever had. From what I can tell, parents hang out and do work, read, chat, and kids skate. The hours are flexible, the staff is all friendly and helpful. It's all very reasonably priced, and there's plenty of parking on the side if the front spaces are filled up. Give this place a visit - you won't regret it. It's a great place. And clearly, all the cool kids come here. ;) read more

I just wanted to say something about this space because I've had such a great experience there. I just kind of rocked up because I was driving around the area and I've been back many times since. The owner is often present behind the bar and always such a kind person who holds a lot of space for anyone who comes through. I feel like this space is new but can be really pivotal in creating and cultivating a community that is about acceptance and mutual aid. This is something that I've always loved about Memphis and always come back for. You can see it in practice at Society. The space also has great wifi, great vibes and great coffee. Loved this place for our first time! Our 6 year old had a one hour lesson/free skate and we got to sit and watch from upstairs and drink coffee. The owners were nice, the price is right-$20/hr lesson and something fun for the kids of Memphis to do. Great idea, please come and support places like this to keep them going in Memphis! read more

Finally, another coffee shop in Memphis open past 3 on a Sunday. Wohoo! My pour over was very good (they use Vice and Virtue coffee) and the atmosphere is nice--several tables and good natural light. Will return, especially on Sunday afternoons when other coffee shops seem to think no one needs caffeine/a place to work. read more

I love this place. The skatepark is top notch, has extremely liberal hours with all day wristbands so i can go early or late and avoid scooters and kids since i am a roller skater and don't like crowds. It is always clean and the staff is nice and helpful. I had their iced latte today and it was delicious. I am stoked they have been so successful and they continue to innovate and add things and really reach out to the community to stay involved, both for adults and kids and for different types of skaters.
