I finally got an appointment for my daughter to get a routine dental check up. I got greeted in Spanish, which I'm not fluent in. I already got a dirty look for that. The lady proceeded to tell me that I needed my daughter's birth certificate to "confirm her identity" (which mind you, was not told to me over the phone making the appointment.) and she looked at me as if I was stupid for not knowing it was needed. Then she checked out my ID and my daughter's dental card, said in a judgmental tone, "you don't have the same last name." For one, how is that relevant? And for two, who are you to judge that?
