Made the mistake of going to a salon in Downtown Savannah instead of coming to see Nickie here at Mirror Image, who has been my regular stylist for almost a year now (sorry Nickie!) Needless to say I've learned my lesson and will always stick with her and her expertise. This was my first time coming to her since she switched salons; this place is so homey, the staff are very welcoming, and their prices are reasonable. Nickie fixed the botched color job I received before from a different salon and made sure I was 100% satisfied before I left. The place is gorgeous, people is vey nice, but I took my daughter for her first professional hair color, she wanted purple hair, I went like a week before to ask if there was someone there that could do fantasy hair colors (she wanted a peek-a-boo color, but later changed her mind). We schedule the appointment and went today. I'm really disappointed with the results. I didn't say anything at the time because I was hoping that with a natural light it'll look better, but it doesn't. Went to have my hair cut and colored at this salon. I am new to the area and this was my first time letting anyone work on my hair. I went in for a consultation with Whitney to explain what I wanted and listened to her suggestions. Although I had to wait just over a week to get an appointment, it was so worth it. This is a great salon.....Big city, upscale service level in a small town. I have tried plenty of salons in different cities. I walked in on a Friday and was able to be serviced even though they were busy. The salon itself was adorable and I have a lot of anxiety about new things and people. Everyone was attentive and welcoming, and Whitney NAILED IT as far as what I wanted.
