Kinda cool but it's $10 a person and it only took us like 6 minutes to complete. Wouldn't recommend

Thomas the train ride tour was also really fun. They also had rides for big kids as well. These included the shredder, slime fest, Dora the Explorer Sky Coaster. and the Avatar Airbender spinning coaster. My daughter and I went on these multiple times and she had a really good time. Everything is super clean, bright, and colorful. It really feels like stepping into your favorite Nickelodeon shows. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, constantly high-fiving the kids and making sure everyone was having a great time. Wait times were reasonable save for a few specific popular rides. We spent the whole day there and never got bored. The food options in the park and the surrounding American Dream Mall are great as well. If you have kids who love Nickelodeon (or even if you just want to feel like a kid again), this place is a must-visit. To quote my kids. "10 out of 10!"

What the hell, Nickelodeon sensing paydirt built an amusement park inside, so for a cool $100 day pass you can go crazy on a handful of rides, some of which may actually be working on any given day. Considering Nickelodeon the cable network has lost half their audience in the last five years and may be sold or shut down, the mall and their namesake park seem like a house of mirrors (or cards) running on borrowed time (or at least borrowed money.) Who would have thunk that the second largest Mall in the country in the age of Amazon and all things e-commerce would ever have issues... everyone except the numbskulls who financed this albatross. That's a ride and an adrenaline rush that I can certainly skip. Two stars.

Perhaps it's because of the sheer size of the mall or perhaps people were busy celebrating Mother's Day elsewhere, but it wasn't as busy or crowded as I would've expected. Although the food court wasn't packed, the wait for Jollibee was insane (probably a 25-35 minute wait). It was worth it though, I hope more malls in the U.S. have Jollibee. After eating, I explored the mall a bit. American Dream has a NHL-reuglate size ice skating rink (entrance is on the first floor, where you can also get the tickets). But what's wilder is the ski and snowboard resort - the first indoor snow resort in North America. I didn't go in but I could feel the chilliness from the condensation on the windows. There's also an NJ Hall of Fame, laser tag, Sesame Street Learn & Play, and Nickelodeon Universe inside. You can enter Nickelodeon Universe (no tickets needed) but you need to buy points to go on the rides. Even if you don't go on the rides, there are plenty of photo ops. I saw Spongebob and Squiward taking photos on a stage. Other cool things about American Dream: A ferris wheel called American Dream that allows you to see the NYC skyline, a Toys "R" Us train that goes around on one floor, and HMart. There is a fancier part of American Dream with high-end stores, too. I didn't come here for shopping though. Plenty of spots in the parking garage and it's $6 for each vehicle, though the first 15 minutes are free.

Far too many patrons allowing their kids to swim around in the hot tubs with no oversight or correction from the employees. Slides - the shrek slides were amazing, the trip to get there, not so much. You're climbing 6 flights of stairs on concrete and although we wanted to do this slide multiple times. We stopped at 3 because the concrete was ripping our feet apart. If we came back swim shoes would absolutely be necessary. Walking in general - there was only one walking liner, roughly the width of a generic bathroom mat, to walk on around the park otherwise you're liable for a fall. My daughter fell twice so swim shoes are 100% in order. Lockers - at $20 a pop you'd think you'd get something spacious but no. In the summer it's not that big of a deal but mid winter it was a hassle cramming 3 coats in. Waze pool - where are the waves? We got a few here and there but I was expecting more for sure. This grand spectacle, the Ferris Wheel, is an iconic symbol of fun, frolic, and fright, providing a panoramic view of the landscape with each towering rotation. For some of us, family member and I took a spin on the Dream Wheel by Skyviews at American Dream, located in East Rutherford. There are 27 climate-controlled gondolas that offer thrilling views of the Manhattan skyline, including sights of the Empire State Building, One World Trade, 30 Hudson Yards, and Vanderbilt Tower, and in NJ, overlooking the American Dream Mall, the epic MetLife Stadium, and beyond. The ride duration lasts about 20 min and goes around only once really slowly. If your party is less than 6, one shares the gondola with other visitors. I bought a Groupon deal for 2 people to 6 Flags with transportation. It seemed like a good deal until AFTER buying the Groupon, the company asks me to pay $29.43 in taxes directly to them. They then canceled the trip due to weather a whole week before the trip was scheduled for. I could not make the alternate date so I asked for a refund. I jumped through a few hoops before Groupon refunded me and then I spoke to JOMAR SMART at 646-327-7545 who promised I would see the taxes refunded within a few days. After not seeing a refund after a week, he has since been ignoring my daily calls for two weeks since. I filed a dispute with my CC company but it is not likely it will get resolved if these people went AWOL. This is a scam artist taking of with people's "taxes". It's pretty much criminal.

Being that it was a good deal I convinced my sister and mother to purchase the deal as well so that we could have one last family outing as the summer was whining down. I contacted the vendor ( Activity Bus) on Friday September 18th 2015 to make arrangements for my outing. The vendor communicated what theme parks he would be servicing and what dates were available. We agreed on Hershey Park on Sunday October 11th, leaving from Downtown Brooklyn at the Barclay's Center. We communicated to Mr. Smart that we are a family of 10 and he assured us that he could accommodate us. On Thursday September 24, 2015 I contacted Mr. Smart to inform him that it was brought to my attention by my niece that Hershey Park was closed that weekend. Which is something I would accept the vendor/organizer to know prior to making arrangements. I contacted Mr. Smart via text and phone call leaving a voice mail and received no response. In the texts that I sent I asked Mr. Smart to please provide further information and plan details. on Friday September 25, 2015 at approximately 8pm I was able to speak with someone a woman that answered Mr. Smart's phone, who was polite and helpful who offered Great Adventure as an alternate. That was fine and we agreed on Great Adventure for Sunday October 11, 2015 for my family of 10. I communicated with the woman once again on Thursday October 1, 2015 as i needed to change one of my participants to which she was accommodating. I also at that time asked the woman for the details of the trip i.e. what time the bus would be leaving to and from the park, what could li bring onto the bus the usual stuff and was told that i would be contacted three days prior to the trip with all the details which I was okay with. On Friday October 9th 2015, I contacted Mr. Smart via email asking if he could please provide me with the details with Sundays trip to Great Adventure. NO RESPONSE. On Saturday October 10, 2015 I contacted Mr. Smart leaving messages on his phone NO RESPONSE. Finally someone answered the phone and told my sister the details of the trip and where we needed to meet the bus. We were all set and excited for our family day or so we thought. At exactly 1:57 am on Sunday October 11, 2015 we received a text from Mr. Smart stating that the trip had been cancelled due to a on going dispute with GROUPON and ill activity from participants. And that we needed to contact GROUPON for our refunds. Let me say this first of all they were not disputing till 1:57am. They could have contacted families from earlier during the day. What they did and how they did it was completely and utterly unprofessional. There were a series of red flags with this vendor but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and support a local up and coming business. To make matter worse when we contacted GROUPON they themselves had no record of any disputes with the vendor. GROUPON did in fact refund what was paid to them however the so called taxes that were paid directly to the vendor has yet to be refunded and of course no one is answering calls or voicemail's. This has been the worst experience this vendor is unprofessional, and unreliable and does not deserve anyone's business.I there was away to give negative stars that is exactly what I would give them. Extremely Disappointed in Crown Heights Brooklyn!!!!!!!!!
