At that point, it had been over an hour since the rescheduled time and more than three hours since my original appointment. I texted that I couldn't wait any longer and requested my $54 deposit back. She called me at 5:08 PM saying she had just finished and I could either come inside or receive a refund. I chose the refund because I had already waited long enough. To her credit, she was understanding and canceled the appointment through StyleSeat. I understand appointments can run behind, but this was excessive. I had already accommodated a two-hour delay, drove from Barstow, and then waited another hour after the rescheduled time. For a $180 service, I expected better scheduling and communication. I can't speak on the quality of her work because I never received the service. This review is strictly about the scheduling and overall experience. I appreciate that I was given the option of a refund, but losing several hours of my day after making the drive was very disappointing.

She also did a refresh on my already bleached hair with a fantasy color so when it came down to washing that out she basically wet all of the right side of my face taking my makeup off. She got water in my left ear as well just plopping her wet hands all over the sides of my face. Then she installed the tinsels from a kit that I had brought myself. Her demeanor was pleasant enough but I can't imagine trusting her with intricate work such as extensions that she claims she also services. When it came down to charging me she kept tapping on the register buttons and I grew concerned and hits me with a total of approximately $305. I really was confused I mean this is the high desert and they are charging hourly here. I'm a hardworking individual myself I get the hustle but the pricing breakdown truly did not translate to what I received, when I travel to San Bernardino and LA to upscale salons I have no issue paying that much because I receive much better care! And complementary drinks for that matter.. When I called the salon back the next day to try and resolve this issue I spoke with Joe I believe is his name possibly the manager? He told me I had to speak with the stylist directly and that was what I was trying to avoid I really did not like that he put me in that awkward position when I tried speaking to someone supposedly higher up about a service I feel like wasn't pleasant and a charge that was pretty high to just shell out for said experience. I wasn't a happy client and they didn't care. I booked an appointment to remove the tinsel the upcoming week since I went away for the weekend but I just decided to go to a salon near the hotel I was staying at in LA to remove the beads the next day because of how tight she had clamped some of them it felt sore. This isn't about a personal hair experience this is more about a personal experience that cost me everything I have at the moment. I worked a mirror mirror several months of 2019. I Liked it. Helped me get back into the groove of doing hair after my bad car crash left me broken and confused. I also brand and do marketing for global clothing lines which talk of world issues. Which the salon knew about. On 1/5/20 (a Sunday) I was let go from my job after I received sexual harassment online via Facebook. They called me cunt and whore and even worse- trying to solicit me for sex. Mind you they from Australia so I just blocked them and moved on. It prompted them to write a fake review on the salon Facebook. Knowing it was fake and I was being bullied I still lost my job. But didn't lose my job months earlier for calling someone a lazy Mexican on fb- they also wrote a review and the owner did her best to take it down. Why was this time different? Why was I let go for being sexually harassed? Why was a not let go for making a racist comment that I regret? I was a commission employee not even gettin hourly like the law states. Now I can't even apply for unemployment. DO NOT TAKE JOBS THAT EXPECT YOU TO WORK ILLEGALLY. There is no safety net. here is to starting off a new decade. no stars from me read more

Jessica Terrazas brings me to Mirror Mirror. She has done my daughters lashes and brazilian waxing before she moved out of state for college and she just adored her. I am an avid spa goer and decided to see how her facials were. I left a little disappointed, but extremely happy with Jessica's facial! She has the most magnificent touch and put me to sleep within 15 minutes. The line she uses is magical and my skin felt brand new for weeks. Unfortunately, in the middle of my facial, I was woken up to loud laughs and chatter which I assumed was from a fellow guest. I tried to look past it but the conversation I heard was inappropriate, talking about men and marijuana usage. On my way out I saw that it was actually a technician using such language, which is why I am only rating 4 stars. I would see Jessica again for a facial but only for the results. They offer so many different services that other Salons do not, which makes it very convenient. My Stylist , Michelle Tracy is amazing and always is open for new ideas and to give new ideas and suggestions as well. I never leave without a smile on my face and feeling awesome! First off, mirror mirror hair studio is a BEAUTIFUL salon. There's a boutique up front with a bunch of clothes and jewelry, along with hair products and the cute decorations to go along with it all! I have been going to Kim for all of my hair needs for about 8 Years now. I have lived near, and as far as the east coast and still manage to go to her. SHES THAT GOOD. That goes for all of the girls that work in this salon. I haven't seen one bad haircut or color ever walk out of the salon, nor have I heard any complaints. This salon is in my neighborhood so, I have "walked-in" a few times for eyebrow waxes and a bang trim. They have always done great work and were friendly and accommodating. The salon is always clean and pretty inside. Today, I had a hair cut and conditioning mask by Madison and I am so happy with the results! I wasn't really sure what I wanted so, Madison asked me a few questions and then just did her thing. This is one if the best cuts I've ever had. Dana is incredibly talented across the board, but what really stood out to me is how she listened and delivered exactly what I asked for. That can be hard to find, and she absolutely nailed it. She is especially amazing at color correction. If you've ever had a bad color job or need your hair fixed, she truly knows what she's doing and takes the time to get it right while still keeping your hair healthy.
