I went in giving it a shot after work to see if I could get in. I was able to get in a couple days later with Liz and with me not knowing what I really wanted to do with it, she was able to tame the monster that is a couple cowlicks that have given myself and stylists everywhere headaches. I couldn't walk out without booking with her again! The environment in there caught me off guard, because I'm used to TVs with sports on involved, and it's pretty much focus on the screen and stay still. I have been a client for 20+ years with Lolly. I've never cancelled an appointment ever! But, the husband always calls me to change my appointments? Now that she has a new salon, a new policy is in place. You have to leave a $50.00 deposit before you even get another appointment scheduled. I could understand new clients being charged this ! But, not old clients that never cancel?? Then the husband called me about not leaving a deposit and canceled my appointment without even speaking to me first? Then called me back again to leave a message! Basically calling me a Karen!! WTH!! If this is how you treat loyal customers over 20+ yrs and changing over $200. I will take my business elsewhere. Beautiful Balayage don't by Jade. As my second visit with Jade, I wasn't disappointed. She made sure my hair was cut to a healthy length and gave advice for maintenance. The people here are so friendly and dedicated to their expertise. They all seem like a big family that knows their clients really well. They have established clientele and relationships. The owners of Mirrors are awesome people. Sam the owner was the receptionist at the front desk. He made sure to inform me of all the promos they have at the store and with referrals you and your friend can get a discount. The salon feels homey and clean. They made sure they wiped and cleansed every area of the salon. The price here is moderately ranged to how much someone would pay for great service and satisfaction. I will definitely be back. I can't even give this business one star. I got my hair done yesterday asking for lowlights and highlights and pointing out areas that needed extra coverage due to gray hair. I even pointed out a young lady in the salon and said that I wanted my hair to look just like hers. Needless to say, the young lady had no gray hair. When I got home and looked at my hair under different lighting, I saw that a lot of my gray hair was still visible. Today, I contacted the salon to tell them about my concern. The husband of the salon owner answered and said that he would call me back. When he called back, he told me that the young woman who did my hair told him that I never said anything about wanting my gray hair covered. I told him that I never heard of going to the salon to pay for hair color with no coverage. He argued that I was telling him two different things - either I told the stylist or didn't tell her to cover my gray. This is unacceptable. I have never paid $243.00 for a service and walked away with my gray still showing. I will NOT be going back. It is unfathomable that the owner's husband would suggest that I was giving him two different stories. read more

I asked Irene for a balayage with darker strands blended in for dimension from the top to the bottom of my hair. I got exactly what I asked for! I also had a very refreshing haircut and hair treatment. Irene walked me through every process so I would not feel anxious. She is very sweet, benevolent, attentive, detaiiiiillled, and focused. Thank you Irene The whole staff here was sooo kind and the vibe here made me feel like I was taken care of by close friends and family. Irene, Lolly, and Sam really worked around my vision, goal, and budget. They wanted more than just another client- they truly wanted me to walk out the door with a big smile, with hair that is wholesome, and to walk out knowing that they will always be there for my hair needs. Its been almost a week and my hair still feels soft, the color is beautiful, and I have gotten compliments from my family, friends, people in public, and from my co- workers. The ladies are all talented, friendly and professional. I especially adore Sierra. I just love my hair when she creates her magic. This salon is successfully run by a couple who truly care about your experience. They ensure their stylist stay busy and pay close attention to scheduling.
