I asked the barber if she gave kids haircuts. She said yes. She got a booster seat for him and had him sit up on the barber chair. He looked excited. The barber, whose name was Elaine, ensured my kid was comfortable. She showed him the clippers and told him that it wouldn't hurt him. She even had him touch the clippers to show that it wouldn't hurt him. She first started cutting the top with scissors, then clipped his sides. She was done within a few minutes. He looked clean with his fresh new haircut. My kid liked it and I liked it. She even gave him a piece of candy after. Our experience there was outstanding. We will be back for future haircuts. Thank you so much Elaine for the wonderful experience and haircut.

He did not disappoint. Beau was incredibly patient as my sons are still learning how to explain exactly what they want, and he made them feel comfortable throughout the process. He was also easy to talk to, which made the whole experience enjoyable and pass quickly. Overall, a genuinely good guy who does great work. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be calling him again the next time we're in town.

It looks the same except the back's a little shorter!" Unfortunately, they were right. She didn't do what I requested and instead did exactly what I had asked her not to do. I asked for the top to be trimmed 2-3 inches, to leave the length alone because it was fine, and not to shave the back of my neck. I honestly considered not leaving a tip, but I chose to anyway because I didn't want whatever was bothering her to carry over to the next customer. I didn't want them to go through the same horrible experience I did. For whatever reason, she obviously wasn't interested in listening to anything I had to say. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Great Clips. I understand everyone has off days, but customers should still feel heard and leave with the haircut they requested. My mom was a cosmetologist for over 30 years, and I can guarantee you she never disrespected her customers.
