My prior doctors were good as well, as are any other people (PAs, etc) that I saw. I could always get in for an appointment when I needed to and always got things like follow-up calls and prescription refills taken care of timely. I went to this doctor for an issue with rapid weight gain after surgery. For some reason they never…read morethought to check my blood sugar/a1c which turns out to be high. I'm finding this out 3 years after the surgery and 3 years of complications of high blood sugar. The only thing they checked was my thyroid. This is the kind of place where you have to request what you need and it takes multiple appointments to accomplish anything with your health. They won't run the necessary testing. You have to be your own advocate. They just want you to keep coming back to pay. I also scheduled a yearly check up because I know that I get one free each year and they didn't even enter it as a yearly check up so I was forced to pay for the appointment out of pocket. They also charged it as an initial appointment when I've been going there for more than 3 years.
