We are just finishing up a home renovation project with Chuck and his team. They are very easy to work with and I've really appreciated that Chuck has been in constant contact throughout the entire process to let us know when they would be coming and going. Even though our house has been an active construction zone for sometime, his entire crew have been very diligent at keeping it contained as much as possible and cleaning up at the end of the day. One of the big things that set Triangle Home Solutions apart from the other companies I spoke with was that the other companies only did design and sub contracted 100% of the work. The other companies came over and the person they sent could not say for sure if certain things could be done or not. Chuck came over and it was clear that he was very experienced and was able to take a look at the home and immediately identify if the work could be done or not. Chuck has his own team that does the majority of the work and subcontracts out the specialty trades. He is also very much engaged and has been hands on in the work himself, you can tell that he takes pride in the work that they do. I paid the deposit for the move on 4/10/2024 and the appointment was set for the date of 5/4/2024. I had some questions prior to the move and each request for Carolina Discount Movers to contact me was done so promptly. On May 4, 2024 the movers arrived as scheduled and the actual move lasted approximately 7 hours. At the end of the move I paid the remaining amount on the invoice and tipped the movers. I was pleased with the experience. On May 5, 2024 while moving final small items from the residence, I noticed damage to the ceiling drywall that Carolina Discount Movers had done on the day of the move. While moving a sofa from the upstairs bedroom down the stairs, the end of the sofa was driven into the drywall and it produced a hole in the ceiling the approximately the size of 3x4 inches. I sent two text messages to Carolina Discount Movers both on 5/4/2024 and 5/5/2024 requesting to be contacted. I did not receive a callback from them. I then called the phone number for Carolina Discount Movers and although the line did not pick up, I immediately received a callback from them and spoke with Avauntee at Carolina Discount Movers. Avauntee told me she was aware of the damage and that she would expedite a repair request and call me back later that day to schedule the repair. Since that call, I have not heard back from Carolina Discount Movers and my attempts to be contacted have been ignored. In order to proceed with the sale of the house, I had the repair done at my expense and my request to be reimbursed with Carolina Discount Movers has been ignored. My experience with Carolina Discount Movers is that response time is quick prior to payment but once they have been paid, any concerns by the customer is not their problem.
