I sent her a box of my dresses..because there wasn't much movement and a good amount of time had passed. We spoke ,and settled on just sending the dresses back.. They send all but one back. I inquire about the missing item she mentioned it was on "hold".. more time passes. Just so happens- I have a major film buyer in town needing a dress. I tell her about Brides by Dizine and she could "buy" the one dress that has been on hold , as weeks had passed and I hadn't received payment. The film buyer drives an hour out of the way to purchase. The dress is not there. Trish tells her, it's sold! I would have never sent the buyer an hour each way out of the way. As I assumed, I would have either heard communication or received payment. It's been years! No dress , no payment just unanswered emails. I feel completely blindsided and taken advantage of. At minimum, the truth and communication would have helped tremendously. I understand small businesses can be difficult .. but totally taking advantage and not paying someone their rightful payment is the worst!!!

I did not make an appointment and I would suggest that you do. You have to give them your life story, blood type, and next of kin to make an appointment which is a bummer (exaggeration but they ask for a lot of info), but at least they don't require a credit card number like another local prom shop. First visit (without appointment), we were grumped at by the checkin staff, then assigned to a very grumpy, irritated, overworked sales person who did NOT want to help us. She was very unpleasant, and unfortunately they are required to stay by your side for the entirety of the appointment. She offered no assistance and just stood next to us glowering and chatting with other sales people about not wanting to be there. I am not naming names because everyone has a bad day, but we didn't enjoy the experience at all mostly due to working with her. The store has a pretty decent selection, but we went in March for a May event and they were already lowish on inventory. I was told that they don't have "stock" and what's on the floor is what they have, so I highly recommend finding out when they place orders and going in that month. Pressure to "buy today" is high but understandable given that the item you like really might be gone when you go back next. Prices were on the mid to high range. The cheapest dress I saw was $250 and I saw prices going into the 700/800/900 range. Definitely higher than departments stores, but better selection, fit, & quality. We didn't buy a dress on our first visit, partly because of the unpleasant sales lady. We went back after shopping several other places and did ultimately buy a dress here. I was disappointed that the commission for our purchase went to the person who helped us the first time because our second visit (with appointment) was much more pleasant, although since we were there specifically to buy, we didn't really get a sales person assigned on the second visit. The manager that helped us was lovely and the sales desk people were nice. I don't know if there are more inexpensive options earlier in the "season" so part of my reason for 3 stars is price and part of the reason is from that very unpleasant sales experience. For quality of dresses, I would put them at a 4.5 stars.

She decided to come back to Mia Grace and revisit her two favorite dresses from the first appointment. The consultant from her first appointment was Stacy and she was great! I already talked about her in my first review. She wasn't working when we went back. We worked with Alexis the second time. She was also great! The two women had completely different personalities, but they worked well with my daughter. This daughter is super chill and easy going. My other two daughters were with us as well. We all had a good time and left after ordering a dress and a veil! One of my other daughters had bought her dress here a few years ago and it was a good experience. Both times, we were able to find " the dress" and stay within budget. I highly recommend Mia Grace! They have a ton of dresses in all different price ranges and the staff are wonderful.
