    The price of the stroller, but they wouldn't honor the price.

    The service is terrible. We asked for a manager and it took twenty minutes before a manager can come up front. When Linda finally came up she was rude and nasty. The price they had over the item was wrong so they blamed us like we put it there. The store is trash and the management is trash. I was with a friend she was shopping. I haven't shopped here in years and I see why.

    Walmart on St Charles Rock Rd. When I was shopping for groceries there were two female employees w the large carts to shop for online orders hanging out blocking the same grocery isle. Neither were putting things in their carts. Seems like they were taking a break blocking traffic. One of these employees was talking to a uniformed Marine recruiter and wouldn't move to open up the isle. I left the isle and came back later. They were shopping in my same direction. They continued their sluggish behavior blocking each isle they were both in. I continued trying to get by. My next issue was that only one checker lane was open. I had a full cart of apx $400 worth of items I picked up for all over the store. I asked a female employee maning the online shopping employee checkout if they could open more lanes. With her lips pursed tightly leaning on a display rack with no eye contact said "NO!, you can go to the self checkout lines!" She refused to ask to open more lanes. I told her, her attitude was extremely rude. She continued (refuse to make eye contact) as she raised her voice firmly to me said "HAVE A GOOD DAY, HAVE A GOOD DAY!" And ignored me. I left my full cart and walked out of the store. The only reason I moved from North Texas was to be closer to my St Louis family who live in North St Louis County. HUGE geographic mistake. My daughter always told me StL Walmarts are the WORST. They are not pleasant at all like the Walmarts in Texas. Now I believe her. I will start going to Whole Foods, Dierbergs and even Schnucks! But I will be going to the locations South of hwy 40 where employees are respectful of their customers. It's a 25 minute drive, but I will deal with it. No one deserves to shop in a rude, lazy and disrespectful environment!

    Disgusting and trashy. Open half eaten food everywhere. Everything that's supposed to be hung on the aisle walls is thrown in piles on shelves. Have fun digging aimlessly around through junk to find what you need. Everyone that comes here clogs the entire main walkway so you can't even get around and they don't move. Police walking around in bulletproof vests. People buy stuff then I guess can't walk it back to their cars so they park in front of the store blocking everyone trying to get in so they can load up their cars. Not to mention, the entire place reeks of weed. Even from the parking lot. Don't even bother. I came here one time before at night and didn't even make it inside- I was being cat called by homeless men who hang outside the doors

    This is the worst Walmart I've ever experienced! It's picked over and a mess! The staff are rude and and inconsiderate.

They sell hair, jewelry, cosmetics, perfume, and more. They have a station set up so that you can try on wigs before you buy them. Their perfume counter is fully stocked with a ton of Arabic fragrances. I smelled a few that i definitely want to go back and purchase. Their prices are comparable to other places, but seem to be slightly cheaper than some of the other beauty supplies I've been to. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Their shopping bags are good quality and so cute.

With that being said, this store was much better than I expected. Very clean and organized. Nice variety of shoes for everyone in the family. Prices weren't bad but in my situation, I found a better deal elsewhere. Customer service was great. The guy was nice and very helpful. I'd come back again.

Since I was already in the area, I decided to stop in after receiving a "BOGO" promotional text earlier in the day. I had recently purchased a pair of shoes on Tuesday for my daughter, who works 12-hour NICU shifts in Dallas, and thought this would be a good opportunity to take advantage of the promotion for an additional pair. I had the shoes and receipt in my vehicle and brought both in with me. Upon entering, I received minimal acknowledgment from the two cashiers at the counter--one of whom identified herself as a manager. I explained that I wanted to utilize the BOGO promotion with my previous purchase. After reviewing my receipt, the manager stated that because my purchase was made on Tuesday and the sale "started on Thursday," I could not apply the promotion. I asked for clarification, as the explanation didn't logically connect to the policy. When I suggested simply returning the shoes and repurchasing them in the same transaction to legitimately qualify for the BOGO--a standard practice in retail--I was told this would be "like stealing." That statement was inaccurate, unprofessional, and frankly, insulting. I asked again about processing a return and repurchase, and was instead told that I could return the shoes, but would need to drive 15-20 minutes to the St. Charles location to buy them again (if available) and use the promotion there. At that point, it became clear that the associate was unwilling to provide basic customer service or a reasonable solution. Her demeanor throughout the interaction felt dismissive, as if she was more interested in posturing for the other employee than assisting a customer. There were no other customers in the store, so this was not a situation of limited time or overwhelming foot traffic. For reference, the name on my return receipt is Carleigh (last name omitted), and the processed return amount was $70.15. This experience resulted in the loss of not only this sale, but the additional purchases I intended to make today--and likely any future purchases I would have made with Shoe Carnival. I have no issue taking my business to competitors such as DSW in Brentwood, where customer service consistently meets basic expectations. I strongly encourage management and corporate to review the service standards at this location. Customers deserve respect, accurate information, and professionalism--none of which I received today. Shoe Carnival, if you cannot appreciate your customers, you will eventually have to appreciate their absence. Do better.
