Towne Fire and Water Restoration does not work for its customers…read more I hired what I thought was a reputable plumber to fix a leaky washer valve. The plumber botched the job resulting in water leaking into a wall. The plumber contacted Towne, stating that they "work together regularly." Towne deemed that two walls needed to be demolished and rebuilt, involving a bathroom where a toilet and two sinks would have to be removed and reset. A Towne estimator came to my home and would not answer my questions, stating that he could not discuss them for "legal reasons." Fast forwarding, I ended up trying to reach Towne several times with no response. Finally, a scope of work was emailed to me. As I studied it, there was no mention of the restoration of my plumbing. The plumbing work was omitted from the paperwork! I FINALLY got an answer from Towne. Towne was working with the incompetent plumber, planning to have that plumber return to my home to do the restoration work!! That was never discussed with me. Why would I have the at-fault plumber return to my home to do more work? Clearly, Towne was not working for me but for the plumber! I was also asked to sign a Work Authorization prior to meeting with a project manager! I had a third party assess the wall. This impartial party quickly advised me that demolition is NOT necessary. Shame on Towne for its unprofessionalism and deceit.

He quoted $158 a hour for three guys with a two hour minimum. We were afraid the COVID-19 public health crisis would impact our move, but we confirmed several days in advance and the movers showed up right on time the day off. These guys hustled for a solid 5 1/2 hours (with my husband working right along side of them). We even encouraged them to take a quick break and enjoy the pizza we ordered, but they kept on moving. We were only moving a mile down the road, but everything was packed and unpacked efficiently. We took precautions of putting down paper and plastic over the floors and carpet at our new house and they took precautions as well. Everything arrived in great shape. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend My Movers.

South Bend roofing does back up their work. I was sent out to clean gutters., a service they do not offer the public, on roof stayed installed 20 years prior that the owner still remembered off the top of his head after seven months when winter came at the end of the season, I was fired. I have all the reasons in the world badmouth these guys. But they wouldn't be legitimate. They do good work, and they're fair and honest in their business practices. The owner remembers every tear off and install for the last 35 years off the top of his head any given day of the week... it's rare. He'll remember your kids and ask about how they're doing.
