They…read morerecently came out to my house to give me an estimate on the plumbing that was required for my main pipe from the second floor all the way down to the basement. It's a heavy iron pipe that was put in in 1918, when my house was built, it has a hairline crack in it. It will be costly to get this one replaced with PVC piping. They took the time to discuss it with me, wrote me out an estimate at the time they were here, so I have something to refer to, we're in the ballpark, figures quoted by others and we're also thorough on explaining the costs, and what to expect. Since this is just a preliminary estimate, I am not going to hold them to anything as we all know those change once you get into the big jobs, but I am sure they know what they're doing as I feel comfortable with that. They are licensed, bonded, and insured, which is a highpoint for me. Their reviews are good from past customers. Aarons plumbing representative said showed up today were courteous, on time and respectful of my requests while I was describing the desires of my future project. The guy put a rag in the bathtub to keep from coming up the hole when he took the toilet out. He ran a snake down it than went out che checked something ran the snake some more went out and check something than told me the pipe was frozen and that there was nothing else they could do. He put the toilet back(which i had to redo because it rocked like a rocking chair) than said it would be $671 i said for what for running the snake pulling my toilet off leaving my tub full of poop water. Than after i stupidly paid he said he could bring a heater out for $1600 to unthaw the pipe i told him no you didnt fix it aftet the $671 whos to say your going to fix it for $1600. We spent 2hrs working on it after they left the pipe was not frozen. Ran a snake down it from both sides. Finally got the toilet to flush and able to get the poop water out of my tub. Worked for a few days and back to the same thing. I call All Pros services talked to Lesile and she told me could send someone back out wouldn't charge a service call I told her your not going to charge me anything because you didn't fix the problem in the first place all she could say is well we won"t know till he comes back out I said no you took enough of my money and did not fix the problem. I asked for a refund and she said well we can"t do that I said why you didn't fix it so I shouldn"t have to pay. Working on drainage problem a pipe busted, water and sludge everywhere. They had to comeback Saturday two guys came this time around ten am. Starting work they needed parts, so instead of one guy running and the other stay to work on pipes and get ready they both left two different times in the day, they finally finished around 3:00, charged $625.00 I don't know if that was a good price or not, felt could have used their time better instead them both leaving twice, for over an hour.
