This review is solely based on customer service, period. I did not end up getting any services from them, thankfully. So. I had make an appointment for two pedicures and one gel manicure for my friend. I was told that the appointment would be at 1030. When the day came, my friend and I were running five minutes late so we called to let them know out of respect and if they couldn't take us, understand as well. Well when I called, I spoke to someone who said that our appointment was at 10 and not 1030. They also said they were with their 1030 appt now. I was shocked, I said that that was not my understanding and if we were already 30 mins late to an appointment which should have started at 10, a call would have been nice too. The lady on the other said nothing: no sorry, no "there must have a miscommunication"....nothing. The only thing she did suggest is that I can find another salon. So, with that being said, I told her to cancel the appointment, informed her that my friend and I would not come back to their establishment and rebooked with another nail salon in the area who took us in promptly, did a phenomenal job on our pedicures and my friends manicure and lastly, communicated efficiently and effectively. And while I get it, services like this have their bad days but it doesn't mean that their customer service should lack in the essence of treating their customer like decent human beings. This isn't my daughter's favorite place to get her nails done, but in a pinch we decided to support a local business. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. My daughter has been getting her nails done for years and knows exactly how she likes them shaped and trimmed. When she politely asked the nail technician to shorten her nails, she was met with resistance and an argument instead of simply accommodating a reasonable request. She was also told that she didn't know what she was talking about, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Customer service is just as important as the quality of the work. Clients should feel heard and respected, especially when they're communicating their own preferences. Hopefully this was an isolated experience, but unfortunately it left us disappointed. We wish them the best and hope future customers have a better experience than we did. read more

The technicians are so kind and they do beautiful work. The salon is clean and they have a wide selection of colors. However, new management came in and changed everything. Prices went up, they got rid of all of their spa pedicure products, their rewards program disappeared and now they charge you 3% of the fee for the service just for the convenience of booking online (not for using a credit card because you pay in-store). If it weren't for my favorite technician, I would consider finding another place out of principle because there is no respect for loyalty here anymore. read more

I used to love going here. There is new ownership; so, they no longer offer the scrub, lotion, bubble foot bath fragrances for pedicures, now it's very basic. They overcharged me for a manicure which I did not order or receive. The woman ran out to refund me $15. Only to discover that she charged me $20. Not sure about this place anymore. The team inside is very very nice. But in regards to the work of nails is pretty poor. Particularly acrylic or gel x or extensions. I would not recommend going here if you are doing any kind of tips. I did want to start by saying I had a pedicure here and really thought they did a great job. So I ended up going back a month or so later for a no chip manicure. Unfortunately, my experience with no chip manicures here left a lot to be desired. I got a no chip on a Friday, the day before my baby shower, and got a white OPI color. By Sunday, my nails were starting to look grimy and by Tuesday they looked so gross that I called them about this. It just looked like the ends of my nails weren't sealed and somehow dirt or something got under the top coat of the nail polish. When I called about this they told me to come in the next day, and when I went in they blamed this on something I must've done, suggesting it was something I cooked with (I throw frozen food in the microwave or oven, I don't cook). Nevertheless, they kindly did a polish change for no charge, which I really appreciated. In less than a week my no chip manicure already chipped, and again, I'm not hard on my nails, I don't cook and I'm 8 months pregnant, I'm not doing any heavy duty cleaning. I had to contact multiple salons to get a pedicure at 3:30 yesterday. Misheel's answered right away and accommodated my request with ease. (Why should it be hard to get an appointment at 3:30 or 4:00?) Regardless, I was greeted and seated for my pedicure immediately. I appreciated that I was offered a beverage. Very good range of polish colors and brands. But, most importantly, the tech who performed my service (Crystal) did an excellent job. I pointed out a couple of issues that I have with my feet and she managed them without a problem. The salon is super clean and plays very relaxing music. What a great experience! Everyone is so nice from setting up my appointment to my nail tech Jessica. I was able to use the yelp appointment function and I got a response within 20 mins. Amazing! I got a no chip manicure and pedicure. Since this weather is new to me, my skin and nails are super duper dry. Jessica recommended that I avoid polish during the winter months to allow my nails to recover. Love her attention to detail with my manicure too. Bonus - the shoulder massage was freaking amazing! It's hard to find a good nail salon, it really is. After being turned away by a different salon I called Misheel Nail Spa to see if I could get in for a pedicure. They must have been busy as well because she said I could only get in if i got there within 5 minutes. Luckily I was right down the street, so i headed over. Upon entry, the store looks very nice and clean! It's bright with lots of windows and not overly cramped like some salons are. What i noticed, sadly though, was that instead of a comfy captain's type chair to sit in during your pedicure all they have is a long hard wood bench that spans the length of all the foot baths. So instead of being comfortable you're stuck sitting on a hard flat piece of wood. Yuck. The feet baths seemed nice, and i watched as each person cleaned theirs upon finishing someone. The girl that i got was young. She was very friendly and seemed to do a decent job. She was a little rough and had to ask her to lighten up a little bit. They only do a massage/sugar-scrub for like 60 seconds on each foot. Overall I was very pleased with how my polish came out, they looked very nice. But i wasn't overly impressed with paying $30 for an extremely basic 30 minute pedicure. Everyone in the store seemed very nice. In some stores you can tell the employees are being snarky and talking smack about the customers, but that was NOT the case here. I felt very comfortable. Overall i was impressed with the store itself and satisfied with how my toes look, but i'm not sure i'll be back. Decided to try this nail salon out again since the others around the area did not have any availability and I trusted their service from the last time I was there (see previous review). I got a no chip manicure ($30) and overall took about 1 hour. The technician was really thorough and went through EVERYTHING. I don't think I ever had a no chip mani last an entire hour, but it was because she was so determined to make sure my nails were super clean and prepped prior to putting on the color. So, if you are in a hurry, I would probably let them know that you need to go at a certain time. While putting on the color I think there was a time the technician forgot to turn on the UV light so I ended up doing it myself. I'm used to no chip manicures, so it wasn't a big deal, but for newbies this could prevent the no chip from lasting a long time. I waited two weeks to write this review and it lasted a full 2 week and 1 day until it started slowly chipping. I liked how they had a lot of color options for no chip; they were in mini "books" and also in a ring circle. I saw that they also offered other services, like eyelash extensions, massages and waxing which I didn't really need at the time. I also like how they track your visits based on your credit card/phone number so you don't have to remember to bring a punch card when visiting. Overall, I had a pretty good experience, similar to the one before, so I think I'll definitely be back! read more

I had a 4:30 appointment for their mani pedi special with one of my girl friends. Instead of typically starting both of us with the pedicure they started one of us with a pedicure and the other with a manicure. This was on a day that was cold, so sandals was not an option for leaving in. When both of us were finished. They rushed to get us out, did not have either of us sit under the drying lights, pretty much just sprayed us and sent us on our way with non dry nails. Waste of time and money to have a pedicure with nail polish sliding off my nails. Even my girlfriend's toe polish was puckered and they did her pedicure first.
