They replaced the mainspring in the pocket watch and crystal in the wristwatch, and returned both freshly cleaned, polished, wound and running great. I returned a couple of weeks later because I couldn't figure out how to set the time on the pocket watch. They patiently showed me how to do it, and also gave some great advice on treating the watch with care. I'm very happy with the quality of their work.

I sat down and the President (Robert Mish) handed me some trays to lay my goods out. I had a box of mostly silver medallions and coins. Robert knew his trade! He was very good at sorting out mistakes of items another store (PPM) identified as sterling or not silver at all. I was very impressed to watch Robert work with coins and medallions like an experienced fruit sorter pulling and grading fruit from the conveyer. Needless to say, I received an offer about 2 times as high as one of their competitors (PPM) and took it. All I can say is never judge a shop by its initial look. Like a good partner for life, there is much more. Mish will be my investment and coinage shop of choice.
