Overall an enjoyable experience for our group. Buffet had food options for all and appreciated the salad selection and fruit mix. We were able to go to the different levels of the boat. Best part besides the sips & bites was being given moment to pose as captain of the boat. Would have liked to see a couple of other drink options included besides tea / coffee. Maybe iced tea and soft drinks, or even 1 glass of juice. Second time at this place and will have to try a night time boat ride.

What a fun experience! My whole family got together to celebrate my parents' anniversary on the Miss Augusta. The kids (5&7yo) enjoyed a "fancy" evening and would like to take a yacht ride everyday (they need jobs). There are three levels. The outside decks were great for lounging. The food was very good and I was impressed that the entree was still hot by the time it arrived to the table, it takes extra time to get to get it to the second level. I loved the salad, the dressing was so flavorful. And dessert was sweet and tart and tasty (it just needed a dab of ice cream;). Since the evening wasn't quite sold out, bar service went pretty quickly. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The captain let the kids steer (maybe they can get that job!). I would definitely recommend you try it out if you are looking to do something different. I bet the fall colors would make a great cruise! And a shout out to the shuttle bus driver, who got us to and from the yacht safe and sound. And thank you to Mr Pleasant for allowing passengers to use your parking lot for the evening.

Hubby and I went here for a dinner date to celebrate our anniversary. We caught the tour bus from the Augusta Winery to the boat dock. It was a great price for a dinner and a cruise. We made the reservation online and we knew what the meal was. They don't have a menu other than for drinks, but it's a good system imo because it allows the chef to focus on one entree. Overall, to not be too wordy, our food was delicious, the service was awesome, and it was just a nice relaxing ride.

Definitely recommend. Compared to other dinner cruises that I have done, this had thee best food. Tender and well seasoned roast beef with gravy. Really enjoyed the Caesar salad with egg. The drinks were tasty and the service was great. Nice scenic drive to/from boat ramp. Cruise scenery is ok for the area. Very nice for bird watching.

My lovely view of the river. my problem is when you have been to places like Florida it make this view just okay.

I'm rate this experience a 3 nice and simple If it's no more then 100 people on the boat it's just right. Not to big and not that fancy. Now I bet on the Hollidays it looks pretty die to the decor they would put up. We went as a group of 16 on this rainy day. It's a rain or shine event and no refunds, but you can reschedule. Our group chose the lunch cruise. We had the lunch which was a nice an simple salad with honey mustard dressing and a roll. Air flight. chicken with mash the chicken cut nicely but needed to be a little juicer. However the leek sauce served with it was needed. The simple dessert was given as a nice berry tart. Also, this place is not handicap accessible. So i guess this steep ramp you have to go down is okay? Nope not when you have parents with bad knees or in a wheelchair. Please go see for yourself before you book your ticket because if they say it is, then what I have in mind is a total different perspective.

My brother bought us this experience as my Christmas gift and it was SO awesome! We all met at Augusta Winery parking lot and rode the charter bus to the boat ramp (if that's the correct terminology). Once we arrived, we learned that Mother Nature wasn't on our side, as the river was super low and the boat was stuck in mud. We were bummed, however we were still able to experience the boat, drinks, good, and amazing company. We were given vouchers to come back and get the full experience, which was very much appreciated. Our table was near the window by the bar, and it was perfect for 5 people. We started out with drinks and we got a bottle of the Norton Reserve from Augusta Winery (love that they use locally sourced beverages-- it IS Augusta!). It's one of my favorite wines and I was so happy they had it! Food came next, and we started with a salad and roll, the salad was a good combo of flavors, loved the fried onions on top! Next we had the entree, which was salmon, prime rib, masked potatoes, and vegetables. Everything wAs INCREDIBLE! The prime rib was cooked perfectly and not overdone, and the salmon was flaky and flavorful. For dessert we had an apple caramel tart. I'm not a huge apple in dessert gal, but it was warm and gooey and I enjoyed it. After the ride there was time for music and mingling. They had a live DJ which was an awesome touch. During the meal, he played Christmas carols. After the meal, he played some dancing music, which some people really took to the next level. It was so fun and we're so excited to go back and use our vouchers!

This is a new experience for St.Charles County and sure it be a very popular attraction once it is moored in Augusta. The yacht is beautiful and staff is friendly and attentive making for a nice tour. We went on the lunch cruise and next time I will choose juts the cruise and purchase appetizers from the bar because they looked better than the lunch we received.Lunch wad tomato soup, sandwich or wrap, pasta salad and a cookie. They have 2 full bars and also offer bottles of wine from Augusta wineries. This is 2 hour event from boarding time until return to dock and once out in Augusta the scenery will make every cruise a wonderful experience.

This Yacht was purchased by the Hoffman family, owners of Augusta Winery. It was recently moved from Louisiana to the St. Louis Yacht Club. Brunch and dinner cruise reservations may be made via their website until the end of November. Masks are mandatory when walking and boarding. The facilities were charming with indoor and outdoor seating. There where two full bars and multiple restrooms. The crew and staff were friendly and gave great service. We were pleased with our 3 course/2 entrée meals and are looking forward to cruises when the weather warms up. The Yacht club is a little difficult to find with winding roads, poor lighting and no signage. It was cold, windy, and dark the night we cruised, but the staff kept us comfortable. We are very excited to see new businesses brought to our area. Go check them out St. Louis!

The cruise was nice. Overall I recommend it and I would do it again but it would just be Hors d'oeuvres and drinks. We did the dinner cruise. Parked at Montelle winery in the overflow parking. The signage was good. It is the ambiance. My only issue was they opened the bar but couldn't buy appetizers. I think food + alcohol is a no brainer. Maybe a little charcuterie or bread and butter at the table (and better than the generic Hawaiian bread we had). Drinks were expensive but not extraordinary. Probably best to just buy a bottle of wine, you are getting MO wines and everything that implies. It's dinner time people are hungry, actually some people were downright hangry by the time they received food. There were a lot of people not pleased. The staff are phenomenal and they want you to have an amazing time. My review has nothing to do with them and everything to do with the quality of the meal. We went to Annie Gunn's afterwards. Just saying. It's fun, do it. But the food is Economy plus not business and yes I'm referring to airplane food. If you are going know this and plan accordingly!

    Happy customers!

The two bartenders said they were fairly new, but I cannot tell they held it down all night. Drinks were on point and they were getting the line down really fast no matter how long it got. Drinks were also very reasonably priced. I don't think I paid over five dollars for any drink. As for the food, the cruise included a unlimited taco bar, which was very good. The chips were very fresh and the meat was very well seasoned. I love that they include fresh guac and fresh sour cream, which I think is the perfect addition to any taco bar! With the price of gas currently, that will also save you dollars filling your gas tank. Taking the Ferry is $10 one-way and $19 round-trip. I think that's a good price, when you consider your time and the price of gas. The ride across the river is approximately 10 minutes. In fact, he does not have a business license for this company in the state of IL. Furthermore, his lack in credible business almost killed me July 5, 2020. A man- who admitted to being under the influence, ejected himself off his rented jetski. I asked the employees if he would be removed & they assured me he would. Instead, they let him back on. Minutes later, I was hit at 40-50 mph. My leg was hanging off my body. My pelvis was in pieces. My brain, heart, liver & lungs were damaged. The worst of this, the employees found me immediately, but chose to leave me in the water for over 20 minutes. I screamed & begged for them to pull me out until my lungs physically could not fill with air enough for me to speak- because they were so damaged from impact. An employee finally brought a boat to me, but they still did not help in retrieving me or bring ANY safety equipment. I was told they do not have any. The untrained employees left no option, I was pulled out of the water by another individual who rented a jetski. employees made my rescuer sit on the back of the boat with his legs in the water. Quite literally, he had to try to hold my leg/pelvis back together & to the boat. Bones, blood was everywhere. No one made sure my rescuer & I weren't ejected from the back of this boat. They didn't even lend a towel to try to stop the massive amount blood I was losing. I eventually lost so much I passed out until I was airlifted to the hospital. Where I was told I would most likely not wake up with both of my legs. I spent the next 6 days in ICU & have had many visits since. If Justin Stearns had simply trained his employees to know to pull me out of the water, my surgeon explained I would have only needed 3 surgeries. Instead Ive required 10, & I need more. By leaving me in the muddy Mississippi, I went septic. The bacterial infection made its way to my heart & I will require antibiotics for the rest of my life to stay alive. If Justin Stearns had any safety equipment, there's no telling the amount of damage that could've been prevented to my pelvis/spine. Even worse, if Justin Stearns had insurance it could help with the hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills he has caused me. Instead, I've been left no option but to pursue an ongoing lawsuit against him & his illegal buisness. When I say illegal business, I mean the state ordered Stearns to shut down this business until he obtained proper paperwork. What he did instead was keep operating. In September 2020, Justin allowed a minor to get on the water with one of his watercrafts. This minor was subsequently in danger. Stearns was caught & the state issued 17 charges, many of which felonies. I came across this yelp review (i'll include pic) July 25, 2020- almost an entire month after my accident. She rented in advance, & he has many jetskis he could've offered. Instead, he chose to lie and say my accident happened 1 day prior to her arrival, damaging the jetski she rented and not issuing her a refund. Justin stated to police this jetski was removed. Past employees have recently heard my story & reached out to explain the lack of training they received. Even told, leave someone if they're dying. I will include some of their statements. Once my story went public, people began posting on River Road Watersports official facebook page. In response, he began deleting the negative posts to increase his review score. Once I posted the proof he was manipulating the score, the entire facebook account was disabled. There was also an update to River Road Watersports website, adding a brand new location at Longshot Marina: 1545 River View Drive Portage Des Sioux, MO 63373. This address was not on his website as of at least July 29,2021 but has magically appeared since I've gotten my story to the judge and the public. Please keep your loved ones away from here! This is a man who does not care about your life. This man is shady! Stay safe.

It was also pouring unexpectedly but that's no ones fault, obviously. The venue was clean but acoustics does make average conversation sound loud that I had trouble hearing the person next to me or the bartenders. I did the non reserve wine sampling which allotted 5 samples for $10. Many of which were made on property with Missouri wines and some west coast offerings. I tend to go for sweeter wines and found my selection to be quite palatable with two standouts as my favorite with the Schitts and Giggles and Lauren's Sweet Vignoles. I really would've preferred the tasting to be separate from the big room and more intimate as to learn more about the wine. Once poured, I was largely left alone standing at the bar where they only offer the sampling and so I felt a little awkward. One gentleman poured rather large portions while the other gave the appropriate amount. A water chaser would've been ideal between both to cleanse the palate. I do think a more intimate setting for sampling is preferred so I am not competing with the rest of the room and I am able to ask questions. The bartenders poured and left and you were on your own!
