I only did my hair with here but I just want to say thank you to Angelina for creating such an awesome up do for my wedding day a few weeks ago. I searched all over for a stylist in Kauai. For me that was one of the hardest searches. Kauai is not as busy as the other Hawaiian island so modern, up to date stylist are far and few between. At least from the Internet pool. I planned my whole wedding through the Internet. I did find one other salon although they took forever and a day and by the time they responded they were booked. Angelina responded to my call promptly and with so much joy and excitement, she made me excited as well after my endless search. She responded to emails and replied to all my questions on a timely manner. The day of the wedding she was the first person I saw and after a weeks vacation in Hawaii prior to that day I was in need of some pampering. She made me feel at home in her tiny studio enough for myself, my photographer, my mom and her but it was intimate enough to have an awesome conversation with the 3 of them. Angelina was very kind and listened to my wants and that can be seen through my photos and her work. She made my hair look like a bouquet of roses it was so beautiful. My husband was worried because I have a lot of hair and he loves it down but I really wanted it elegant. He absolutely loved it, thought I looked amazing and a little sexy too. ;). Thanks a million. I called ahead to ask if they offer detangling service because a small section of my bleached hair…read morebecame severely matted after swimming in both the ocean and chlorinated pool and despite trying to detangle it myself with my own products, I couldn't get the knots out. The woman I spoke with told me they could fit me in that same day at 5:30 p.m. and explained that the charge would be $35 per 30 minutes. When I arrived, it turned out she was the stylist who helped me. She patiently worked through the matting before closing time at 7:00 p.m. and was able to save my long hair with relatively little damage or cutting. The only hair that needed to be cut were two small rope-like knots to help separate them. I was incredibly grateful for her patience, skill, and care. Mahalo to Queara (Kiara) for taking the time to help me. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a stylist who is both knowledgeable and compassionate.
