Always wanted to go to Misscruffins. What a surprise! It is small and quaint. It has an old town vibe right in the heart of old St Johns County. Our county as we know it is growing! I was inteigue by the Croissants and more. I do remember getting a welcome in or hello. I was too busy taking pictures and observing the owners catering to a big order. The customer drove about an hour to get her order, a discounts and her order walked to the car by the owner. Now, this is what I call customer service. Can I give it 10 stars? Not only is this the cutest place ever ( and so French, magnifique!) but the cruffins are to die for. Can't decide ? Do what we did and order a variety but get there early for the best selection as they sell out of their most popular cruffins. They also sell coffees and as an added touch our cappuccino had a heart swirled in it. I had the pumpkin spice & was big enough to share. The pastry was light and airy with a little crisp around the edges. The pastry itself was cinnamony and there was a dollop of pumpkin filling on top. A friend had the blueberry lemon and another had the savory croissant stuffed with goat cheese & spinach. I had a taste & really liked it. There are plenty of little bistro tables inside & out. I've been hearing about Miss Cruffins and was dying to try it (OK, not necessarily dying, but really wanting to try it). I've heard that they continuously sell out, due to sheer popularity, so I was a little worried that I got a later start that morning and didn't arrive there until 10:30 am on a weekday. They are located on Racetrack Rd, in the Walmart Plaza. I found a parking spot in front of the location. When we arrived they were totally out of cruffins. A bit of a bummer, but they did have multiple savory and sweet croissants available, so I went that route. I decided to get a chocolate croissant, a savory three cheese croissant, an iced almond milk latte, and my sister asked her to grab her a chocolate filled croissant (it had chocolate ganache inside) and a spinach and feta croissant. My mom also came with me and she got a three cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant and an iced mocha. The staff was super friendly and right after I paid for my order, a whole tray of fresh cinnamon and sugar cruffins were brought out. So I did what any foodie would do, I got a cruffin. My coffee and items came out quickly. I couldn't wait and dug into my cruffin. It was light, flakey, cinnamony, and sugary, and tasted like a sweet cloud. I also ate my three cheese savory croissant, which was really delicious. The iced latte was perfect parts robust and creamy! Will I be back? You betcha! read more

Fantastic staff and INCREDIBLE food. We ate there two weeks ago and immediately made plans to come back the following week with friends. We were terribly obnoxious and ordered so many croissants to split among our group of 4 and they were so so patient with us. Didn't even bat an eye! I've had people recommend this place to me literally yesterday, not realizing I've been twice already! I'm lucky I'm less than 20 minutes from the place. Not to mention the decor!! Very cute new spot with fresh pastries off Race Track Road. I was really looking forward to checking out Miss Cruffin's bc I love a fresh croissant. These croissants are GIANT. The Dubai chocolate croissant is SUPER rich. I enjoyed the pistachio raspberry croissant much better as it wasn't as sweet. I however thought the croissant was so-so. Both croissants were missing that nice buttery melt in your mouth fluffiness you expect in a croissant. Staff was super friendly and polite, but slightly underwhelmed. My review is based purely on product, as I did not go into the establishment myself. With that being said, welcome to the neighborhood, Miss Cruffin! Sampling a variety of things from their namesake Cruffin, to their filled croissants, to their breakfast sandwich. All were delightful and a breath of fresh air. Nothing overly sweet, and fillings were light and fluffy. The raspberry pistachio filled croissant had a beautiful balance of flavor. My favorite of course was the hazelnut. These portions aren't tight fisted either. You can split one and be happy. Or, can you? We also tried the turkey, bacon and egg sandwich. It hit the hunger spot! The only thing my husband was not delighted about was the turn around time to get the hot sandwich. He waited about 30 minutes. They just opened, so understandable about being busy while trying to put out a great product. The sandwich was tasty, so that makes up for the wait. Miss Cruffin was the perfect after school stop for my kids. In fact, its exactly what Fruit Cove needed. All of the pastries are super fresh and soooo delicious!!! My son gobbled up his cruffin before I could take a photo. It looked so good that I couldn't help but get him another pastry to go for a later treat. We sat on their comfy sofa for a while and read their childrens books while my kids enjoyed their treats. All in all, we ordered a raspberry filled cruffin, a strawberry cream filled croissant, a veggie and feta stuffed croissant, and my son also got some of their homemade soda that they mix in house.
