Le Crepes with LavAzza coffee is amazing!
    Ron R.

Le Crepes offers, as its name shows, excellent looking crepes! However, my review here focuses on the 16 oz white mocha latte I purchased during my visit. The Avenues was slow during my visit, but I'm glad I got to see one of crepes being prepped. From the menu, there is a wide offering and I look forward to getting one in the days ahead and then update this review. However, while searching for a different coffee kiosk I used to visit here on the second level of The Avenues, I discovered it was gone. So, in a sense, I was cornered to take my only option here. The barista is a veteran at this kiosk and said she's been there 11 years. I wondered if she was the owner, but I'll find that out next time. In looking at the menu, there is a fairly large variety of coffee offerings here. You pretty much can get it as plain as you want, or fully loaded! But what really made me happy was the coffee brand of choice by Le Crepes. LavAzza is awesome, so I instantly ordered a 16 oz white mocha latte. I asked for whipped cream and she gave me a near mountain! I forgot to tell her I was getting it to go. It was very kind of her to be so generous, so I look at it as a plus! The blend of the LavAzza coffee and white mocha in it really gave it a more authentic taste than I've experienced for quite a while. It was something that stood out to me where other coffee outlets didn't. It made the ride home much better and I look forward to visiting here again. Service is very good. There is a large menu of both sweeter type crepes and breakfast/sandwich type crepes. Much to choose from! On another note, I was really impressed with the cleanliness and organization of this kiosk. It's in a good spot in the mall, not far from a main entrance. It's been here 11 years, and appears to have built itself a good reputation among those who work here or customers visiting the mall. The white mocha was great! I'll get an update on the Le Crepes after my next visit! Recommend: VERY HIGH (the VERY is for the LavAzza coffee!)

The best coffee I've had in Jacksonville is Lavazza and this location! Love the owner and get to use my Italian, which is always fun. She makes the espresso on point and the crêpes are out of this world, both savory and sweet options.

Came to the Avenues for some homecoming dress shopping. I needed a sweet drink and decided to stop at Le Crepes. Best decision so far today. The cashier was very sweet and patient. She made us 2 Dolce Caramels which were the perfect balance of espresso and sugar. The vibe is small authentic coffee shop. They had a small line but she did well quickly making the drinks and answering my questions. Overall we needed the pick me up and will definitely stop here again while doing any shopping in the Avenues. It's upstairs right across from Zales near the elevator.

This place has the best Crepes and Amaretto Cappuccino. I love watching them being made right in front of you. Perfect location on the 2nd floor midway in the Avenues mall. The workers are dedicated and kind.

If you're an Eastern European than you can't say "no" to crepes! Great choice of savory and sweet options, coffee and tea! Friendly staff and delicious crepes!

Support your local small businesses. Even in the mall. I ordered the cinnamon cappuccino and realized very quickly why Starbucks is no longer in the Avenues mall. Come see these folks. They are legit.

A perfect sugary Italian authentic (from what I can tell) crepe. There is a nice little bar to sit at and enjoy an espresso. They have savory crepes, cappuccinos and mozzarella!

I was introduced to this little le crepes booth located inside the avenues for the first time by a friend. The crepes are freshly made to order and the bananas as well as strawberries are great combo with nutella. The freshness from the fruits really compliment the softness of the crepe. They also have peanut butter fillings but I prefer the nutella over that since it is more satisfying to eat.

I came in on 4/3 and ordered the following: 1 Warm croissant with ham and cheese 1 Amond croissant 1 Simply Orange Juice 1 French Orange Juice 1 Cappuccino Once my total came I was quoted $31 sounded crazy for the little I ordered but nonetheless I swiped my debit card and went on with my day. Later that evening I was checking my bank transactions, and low and behold I was charged $43.46 for my order. No way! I was not a fan. I reached out to the website email and explained the issue. I got a polite "I'm sorry you were quoted wrong" & a copy of the transaction. I also noticed a $5.67 tip that I am sure I never opted for as I never leave tips with a card payment it's usually always cash. Honestly there are many good home baked places around that are in a better price range , and handle issues better, than this one was taken care of.

I tried the blueberry coffee cake and it was so good -- not overly sweet, super soft, and packed with blueberries. Easily one of the better coffee cakes I've had in a while. I also grabbed a cold brew, and it tasted amazing. Smooth, refreshing, and not bitter at all. Overall, a really lovely first visit. I'll definitely be going back.

I wasn't able to access my previous review of Cinnamon Tree, so I'm glad to leave a fresh one…read more We have loved Cinnamon Tree for well over a decade. The food is consistently excellent, the desserts are beautiful and delicious, and the balance of savory and sweet is one of the things they do best. From the patisserie case to the fully loaded crepes, our family has yet to be disappointed. That is saying something, because usually someone has a critique somewhere. Here, there truly is something for everyone, and we all leave happy. The portions are generous, which we appreciate. We almost always bring leftovers home, and that just means we get to enjoy it all over again later. The service is consistently friendly and helpful. The staff brings a youthful, upbeat energy that adds to the atmosphere. Each visit feels like stepping into a European-style patisserie, and that charm has kept us coming back year after year. With that said, I do want to share one small concern. They close at 3:00 p.m. We are big brunch people, but our schedule often leans toward late morning or early afternoon rather than first thing when they open. I understand there are likely good reasons for their hours, and I know many early birds benefit from them. Still, it can be disappointing. On three separate occasions, we have driven over looking forward to our favorites, only to find the doors already locked. We were not alone. On the most recent visit, three other cars pulled in and had to turn around as well. Even with that frustration, our overall experience with Cinnamon Tree remains overwhelmingly positive. It is a place we genuinely love and will continue to support, just hopefully a little earlier in the day next time.
