I came in for a consultation and this place is amazing. The decor is great and has a very cool upbeat vibe. The technician was great and explained everything to me. So I found this place through Instagram and I must say my first impression of them was that they are very welcoming and answered all of my questions and concerns. My first session was just to try out the underarms are , from there I seen the packages they had and I bought a package for $1,500 , for 6 sessions in 3 areas ! How amazing and affordable is that ?! The areas I had done were full face , underarms and Brazilian. After my first session I noticed my hairs would fall out on their own and after my second or third, I barely had hair. I was very sceptical at first because for a long time i was told i wasn't a good candidate since i have dark skin and dark hair and i would scar. I used the services at this location for approx 1-2 years and before this month, I had no complaints. I am disappointed with my recent experience especially because I work as a nurse and I always take a patient/client's health/physical care very seriously. I had a laser treatment for my legs and brazilian 2-3 weeks ago. As a result of that session I have scarring down my leg that my doctor diagnosed as second degree burn marks. I have gotten many treatments at different machine settings here without any issues. My last session with Alyssa, I was burned on my right thigh and shin so badly that it currently appears like cigarette burns across my leg. My dermatologist has told me it will take up to a year for it to heal and I may still have discoloration. I brought this up to the manager, Manny and he did reimburse me my package after seeing pictures of my skin and provided me with vitamin e. According to my doctor who also has laser in her practice, this is a common issue with places without a medical professional (MD/RN) on staff. SO please beware, you may be paying less here than for a medical spa but it may come at the price of permanent issues/scarring. I will say I have received treatment before with Nicole with no issues. I will not be returning because of the experience, I suggest If you do go please advocate for yourself and make sure if something feels even slightly off during any session to question it immediately. read more

I've lived with acne scars all my life. As I got older my skin changed and I had a lot of sun spots. I would say more than normal but that was just the character of my skin even though I always used SPF. PicoSure was my fountain of youth if it works. I took the plunge and tried it it for the first time today. I was a nervous wreck but for the sake of vanity I was willing to try it. Freida was very nice and patient and explained everything and reassured me that it will work and it will be fine. I just did it today so I don't have any real results yet, but the actual pain was not as bad as I thought. It felt like a quick electrical buzz but it disappears quickly. Laser hair removal on the other hand feels more like a sting and lasts a bit longer. I am Asian and I have Rosacea so I was worried about scaring, but so far it is fine. I have to say I didn't even come out as red as I thought I would. If you clinched your teeth and take the plunge, it goes really quick and you are done. There were a lot of places that charge a whole lot more for this treatment. If you are thinking about it, do yourself a favor and check out Miss Laser first. I have a low tolerance for pain and I did it without numbing cream and I was fine. I cant wait for the results !! read more

I had an amazing experience here the staff are very well-versed, thorough while explaining laser treatments, how effective it is and easy to maintain. As long as you keep up with your appointments the hair follicle will shrink and discoloration could possibly almost completely diminish. I love how the place is very clean and it smells very nice and Zen the decor is amazing I love the tiles and I'm happy to hear that all of the Miss laser locations appear to be the same. The equipment here in this place is really up to date and even better than other laser salons that I have been to (which have the device making contact with your skin who knows whether the device has been on someone's Brazilian and now they're using the same device on your upper lip) so with Miss laser you definitely don't have to worry about that the machine does not make contact with you but it still works amazingly well! I met Frida 3 years ago when I moved into Jackson heights and they just opened their location near me. I was a walk in and Frida welcomed me. She was a pleasure to take to and made me feel comfortable. She didn't make me feel like I was just another customer as other beauty places tend to. My first laser treatment was the chin and upper lip area- i had bruising and dark spots from tweezing- she reassured me that the marks would fade away and that my hair would fall out naturally and not grow back. I was amazed with just the first session. Im Indian and have thick hair. I followed her instructions and stayed with the regime of the package! After that I just wanted to laser everything away! But life got in the way and eventually I was pregnant and couldn't do what I wanted. Now my little one is 2yrs and I e decided to go back and start with a Brazilian.
