I specifically asked for a simple eyebrow cleanup, but the technician removed far more hair than she should have. My eyebrows are now noticeably uneven, and a significant portion of my right eyebrow is missing. When I expressed my concern, the technician insisted she had not made a mistake, despite the obvious difference in my eyebrows. I then spoke with the manager, hoping the situation would be taken seriously. Initially, it felt like my concerns were being dismissed. After I removed my glasses so she could get a closer look, I was simply offered a discount for a future visit. I found that response unacceptable given the extent of the mistake. I had an event to attend that same day, and instead of feeling confident, I left feeling embarrassed and upset. While I appreciate the excellent pedicure service, the handling of my eyebrow appointment and the lack of accountability afterward have ensured that I will not be returning. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and provides better training and customer service when mistakes occur.

Before I started going to Colorbox, I actually went to her other salon location in Arcadia for years, but switched to Colorbox within the last year because it is closer to me. Jayson also does an amazing job at helping manage the salon. He is so friendly, attentive and is an amazing tech! She simply buffed them down & did not soak them or anything (she buffed them down to where it started burning my nails and then made fun of me because I said it hurt.) I feel taken advantage of since I trusted them & gave a tip. very upsetting experience and probably won't be going back. I have natural nails and requested a dark pink clear polish with my nails shortened. There was no design, artwork, or specialty color involved. During the appointment, the technician asked if I wanted my cuticles cut, and after already beginning the service, informed me that this would now be considered a manicure with additional cost. What surprised me the most was the final result and price. My nails were cut drastically shorter than I expected, and the total came to $90 for acrylic-related services with a very simple clear polish look. Unfortunately, the outcome did not match the cost in my opinion. This is actually the second disappointing experience I've had at this salon, which is why I felt it was important to leave a review for future customers. The salon itself may work well for others, but I personally left feeling unhappy with the communication, pricing transparency, and final result. I can say the establishment is very clean, cute decor. They offer a drink with the services which is a nice touch.

I originally came in with a basic design and she kept huffing and scrubbing it off on the first nail, after the fourth retry I told her to just do then white and move on as about half an hour had been spent trying to do a basic star on one nail. I would have been understanding if it was just the design, but the quality of this work is so poor I have already rebooked an appointment elsewhere for tomorrow to get them completely redone as I am so disappointed.
