This place has lost its "touch" since opening. I used to come here when it 1st opened for a luxury experience. Great service, great design skills, excellent pedicures. But, unfortunately, this place is beginning to lose its "zest". What once made the stand a part from the everyday nail shop, now has this place feeling like everywhere else. Messy stations, dusty floors, slow technicians, and over promised designs. Not to mention it took me 2 hrs to get a full set, before the design. The technician rushed my shape and as not friendly after I mentioned it. Felt an eerie feeling of discrimination upon paying when I voiced my concerns. Witnessed multiple customers receive better tone of voice and accommodations when displeased. Mgr "accommodated" by taking off $5. Only bonus they still have going for them is the drink station. read more

A decent 3.5 stars. Lots of options for pedis and nails. I purchased the 24k gold pedi with gold leaf and red light therapy. The massage by Tracy was lovely, but the nail painting needs a bit more work. The top coat wasn't all the way applied to the nail and cuticle. For a $90 pedi I think the nail polish should look well done and in my case it wasn't. read more

Vivian was wonderful! She did my gel x nails! The location is very clean and offer an array of services, including boba! The entire staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. They did an incredible job on my toes and nails. I will say it is very expensive! I did a gel polish change on my toes and that was $35!!! Highway robbery in my opinion. My gelX fill without any designs was $65. I don't know if I would go back based on the expensive prices but I did enjoy the people and experience. read more

I had an appointment with Vivian and they seated me with someone else. He was nice but didn't really listen to my requests. He was very pushy about up selling the service that I had chosen. I usually get 2 coats, clear and then 3rd coat and clear. This time I only got 1 when I clearly told him otherwise. You can see my nail tips with no polish. Which I paid $56.00 dollars for (Regular Pedi / Polish). Also they offered a 10% discount but expired 2 days ago (I had no idea) they could have easily honored it but didn't. The discount was for me to come back and I thought why not give them another shot again. But with this past experience; I'm definitely not coming back. Awful service, pushy sales tactics, and over priced. Don't worry about making any reservations with your preferred nail tech, they'll just seat you with anyone. However, I recommend PA and Vivian, hopefully you'll get seated with them. read more

I visited this place for the first time today and my nail technician was PA, she was so sweet to me! She is funny, and such an outgoing person! The staff is friendly and even the gentleman who did my pedicure was awesome! Both employees were so sweet and silly! They made me giggle a few times, my son loved being here too! The 2 employees today were so sweet to him! I also had their Mango tea and it was super yummy with strawberry popping boba! This does taste heavy on the tea side just a heads up. I enjoyed that. Lols So I feel like the prices maybe be a lil more than other salons I've been to but make sense since it's new with upgrades... Anywhooo we sat down, my nail tech Amber handed nail books to me to choose my color and another person asked if I wanted a boba drink so I ordered the dragon lychee tea. I was so indecisive with choosing a color and she recommended a color that looked great on me! My nails looked pretty and she didn't take any chunks of skin off or make me bleed like other nail techs have done to me. She did my mani while I sat on the massage chair waiting for my pedi to dry. That wasn't an issue for me though I know that is for some people so just a heads up.... The only thing my friend and I didn't care for was our dragon lychee boba tea. It wasn't disgusting but left a weird bitter after taste and just wasn't that enjoyable to drink but we forced ourselves since we paid for it. Always a great time at Hi5 Nails! They always get you in and out, without skimping on their service or attention to detail, which I really appreciate. I've seen Vivian a handful of times now, and she always executes the job amazingly. I got these cute, super girly nails, and I love how artistic she got with the different sized polka dots! Saw the soft opening sign and decided to check it out with a friend. Finally something at the cannon beach plaza is opening!! This is the same owner as hi 5 tea in Chandler so soon they will be selling tea here as well which is totally awesome!! We didn't have a reservation and did a walk-in, we were asked to check in on the tablet and pick out our colors. They also have a lot of color books for you to choose from and so many options for services. They're currently offering 20% off all services for soft opening which was so nice. Everything was so clean and new, it's honestly the best time to give them a try. All the workers were friendly and everything was done within an hour. Sadly I didn't like my color option and had expressed it at the beginning when she painted one side but she just laughed it off without offering me to switch to a different one. I looked at my toes when I got home and some had color on my skin and others had bumpy finish with the top clear coat. Overall, it was good esp helpful with the discount. Will give them a few more months to get settled in before thinking about going back to try again read more

I managed to walk in and get sat right away today, and I asked for a polish removal and a simple gel manicure. I also asked for a deluxe pedicure, which was done very gently and beautifully by Kelly. Celine did my manicure and did a stunning job, and I love how everything turned out. The location has a very relaxing atmosphere (I went around 11:40 and it wasn't busy), and the staff keep everything super clean. Visiting a salon should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, especially when you're a regular. I had came in for a simple gel manicure with a pink base and white polka dots. Although the nail technician had to redo the design several times, which caused some visible frustration, I accepted the final result. However, at checkout, I was surprised to be charged $60, with fees of gel removal and design total being $20 --which i'd never been charged for gel removal on previous visits. Adding to the disappointment, the gel manicure started chipping, breaking, and lifting in less than a week, whereas past manicures lasted about a month. Overall, while the salon had delivered great results before, this particular visit left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied due to unexpected costs and poor nail durability. read more
