Do not waste your time as they do not respect your time! I had been wanting to try this salon for a while; so I called and booked an appointment- they stated they could do a full set & pedi at 5. I arrive early at 445 knowing I'm early, they don't greet me or offer anything that I notice they offer the other women. I'm waiting & eventually another 5 women walk in all with 5 o lock appointments. Eventually we all start to fall off and those women leave. A couple of us stay but it is now past 530 and I've asked multiple times as there is zero urgency through the shop to make sure the group waiting for their 5pm appointment if they have an eta on when they plan to start. At that point they rush me to a pedicure station where I waited another 10 min so all in all I've not even stated my services until almost 6. I end up getting a pedicure (which was an after thought) as I needed my nails done by 630 no one has even started on my hands and I felt there was zero sense of care for my time or any one else's so I let my toes dry and I left. I will say I've lived in scottsdale for 14 years and this was the worst service & experience I've had at a salon ever. They tried to stop me at the door when I was getting up to tell me I had my nails to get done and I stated I had dinner plans at 7 this shouldn't of taken almost 2 hours for a subpar pedicure. Again been in scottsdale 14 years frequent the area often. Very disappointed in the energy and all around care they had for me. Maybe it's me for many reason they didn't care as this was in a different area and definitely had a different vibe inside the salon when I walked in. Should have followed my gut when I saw the lack of interest in helping me the moment I walked in. I will not be going back there and if you respect your time I wouldn't suggest it to anyone else. Colorbox is my absolute favorite nail salon in AZ. I've lived here my whole life and tried so many different salons but this is by far my favorite place to go for numerous reasons. Tracy, the owner, is truly the best. She is personable, caring, and such a hard worker. Before I started going to Colorbox, I actually went to her other salon location in Arcadia for years, but switched to Colorbox within the last year because it is closer to me. Jayson also does an amazing job at helping manage the salon. He is so friendly, attentive and is an amazing tech! He always helps me pick out nail colors and designs because I'm so indecisive and always makes me feel welcome. Wow. I have never been this impressed with a nail salon in my life. I just got my nails done at a different salon nearby when I left super upset because it wasn't what I wanted. I came to Tracy at colorbox 20 minutes before closing to see if she could help me and she was so nice and non-judgmental of the situation. Her correction was exactly what I wanted!! She was so kind and only charged me for the chrome top coat even though she filed them down and repainted them. I've never had such incredible customer service from a nail salon. It's also so clean and modern in here which is rare for nail salons in Scottsdale. HIGHLY recommend colorbox and Tracy! My wife loves this place - and she's fussy. We came here for her regular appointment and I stayed with her for the duration. In a great area. Staff are very polite and accommodating. The services are plentiful with lots of color options. The chairs are comfortable and offer massage (I'm sure many do also) but it's a nice addition to the actual service. The place is airy and lots of natural light which looks out onto a small garden area. I went to this nail salon for the first time yesterday and happened to be in there before Maria B. came in. I was appalled by the way she spoke to her nail tech. She had dip on and came in and asked for a color change, the nail tech removed the dip and started to file the bed of the nails to smooth them down. She pulled her hands away, yelled at the tech and said 'I already filed them at home, I don't want a manicure, just a polish change.' Newsflash lady, you didn't come in with polish, and the tech needed to file the bed down to smooth them. She was complaining the entire time of her service and when the tech brought out a fan to start drying her nail polish she screamed again 'too close, too close'. She was a complete Karen her entire service. For my service I did a fill and gel pedicure. The staff was attentive and the salon was very clean. The nail tech made sure I liked every part of the nail service in between steps. I'll be back. read more

Tracy and her team are amazing! I have been going to Arcadia Nail bar since she opened it and this is my first time at this new gorgeous salon. Today was special, as we had 11 girls for my daughter's 8th birthday party! They decorated, had snacks, and hosted us for 2 hours. The girls had a blast and everyone left with picture perfect nails. I've finally been able to sit down & write my review. When I first got in & asked if they were able to do the design I wanted they said yes but it was a weary yes. After my set was finished, I was merely satisfied with the set I got - paid & tipped my nail tech! However .. literally 6 hours after my set my nail snapped off from just picking my cup up from the car cup holder! I will say I reached back out to them & they fixed my now TWO broken nails a couple days after which I was beyond thankful for. Little did I know, they'd continue to pop off little by little & chip & crack as the days went on. At this point I was over it. I should have prefaced that the set I walked into Colorbox with, was on for 4 weeks with not a single chip (TEMPE NAILS&SPA). The other 3 girls I went to the salon with experienced the same thing with nails cracking and popping off at the simplest tasks ! It makes me sad bc we paid ALOT. For 2 polish changes on our toes (NOT THE PEDICURE), supposed to be set fill - I paid almost $300! I'm not one to write reviews but this experience was CRAZZZYYY!! read more
