The quiet waiting area before your service sets a calm tone, and each therapist we've had has been friendly and experienced. After your spa services, you're welcome to spend the rest of the day enjoying the pool and hot tub area. The space is a little outdated, but still peaceful. Both visits happened to fall on BINGO days by the pool, which was surprisingly fun--I even won a few prizes! There's a poolside bar, though no one has been outside either time to take orders. You can order directly at the window or head inside to a small bar and seating area. The same employee bartends and handles food service for both areas, so orders can take a bit longer--but they do their best, and the drinks are inexpensive and good. Overall, we've enjoyed both visits. While the pricing is comparable to some newer or more polished spas, this one makes up for it with its laid-back vibe and generous amenities. The pool area was nice and clean, and we enjoyed getting drinks from the bar area, although I was expecting there to be a bartender walking around offering drinks but they do not do that there. The main reason I wanted to leave a review was because of services we received. As a group we felt like none of our therapists/estheticians used enough pressure and even when asked to use more, they did not. For my treatment, my provider did not explain any of the products she was using, nor did she ask what areas I wanted to be massaged during my treatment. I would have preferred a neck and shoulder massage but she massaged my feet without asking. Overall, I expect a facial to include a good amount of facial massage and pressure and unfortunately I didn't get either. I am definitely dissatisfied and regret spending the money. My esthetician was very nice and informative when it came to my at home routine, though! We will definitely not return in the future and we will frequent spas that we had a better experience at. Honestly, she's the reason this location is circling the drain. She's unbelievably rude, argumentative, and dishonest. Every interaction I've had with her feels like she's more interested in being right than making things right. She loves to talk over you, blame anyone else she can, and I wouldn't trust her to run a lemonade stand, let alone manage a business like this. The vibe in this place has gotten so toxic, most of the good therapists and staff I used to know have already left -- and it's not hard to figure out why. When management treats both clients and employees poorly, the place falls apart from the inside out. I've left multiple messages asking for Mitch, the owner, to call me back. Zero response. Either they're not passing on my messages, or he just doesn't care anymore. Either way, it's a huge disappointment, especially after years of loyalty. Corporate has a looped recording so no one picks up unless you reach out via email various times. There were plenty of lockers and space to spread out. There was an aqua therapy circuit featuring hot and cold Kneipp Walks , cold plunge pool and Tepdarium pool. However as soon as I walked into that area, my eyes burned so bad. There was so much chlorine in there I was just uncomfortable. for the spa session i enjoyed the revive to thrive. You begin with a dry-glove exfoliation to jumpstart detoxification and stimulate the lymphatic system. Next, the body is covered in warm herbalized oil from scalp to toes with friction strokes that move the oil into the tissues to further dislodge toxins. Then muscle-specific strokes are used to promote relaxation. Finally, your therapist will use Marma Point Therapy to stimulate and awaken energy in the body, calm the mind, and activate healing.
