When I came in for a facial, I reacted badly to the pineapple scrub. My face turned red and itchy, and it hurt to move. However, when I told them about this, they gave me a free follow-up facial and avoided the pineapple enzymes. It could also just be that my skin is too sensitive for facials, I'm not sure, but I broke out again. This time was not nearly as bad, only a few red bumps that hurt to the touch. Other than my sensitive face, I appreciate them trying to make it right for me and being transparent. If your skin can handle it, I recommend this place! If your skin is sensitive like mine is, be careful and make sure to let them know about it first. read more

It's been several months since I been to this clinic. So this post is long overdue. I came here on a Groupon for 3 laser lipo, 3 RF, and 3 whole body vibration. On my second or last appt, the owner (Brittany) walked in the middle of my treatment. She said she needed to talk to me about my Groupon. Well apparently the Groupon I purchased was only for one treatment not three, but it was clearly stated on the ad it was three of each (3 laser, 3 RF, 3 vibration). She said that is incorrect & Groupon mislabeled the advertisement. She went on to say she is losing money as a result and she still needs to pay her techs... (I also tipped the tech generously). So I dispute what she is telling me. She tells me she'll talk to me after my Tx. Well she should have done that since the beginning. Now I couldn't even enjoy the rest of my TX since she stressed me out. After my treatment, I was adamant about receiving what my Groupon states. Finally tells me that what she can do is offer me the Groupon price which was a hundred and something dollars for one treatment of all three. Well that's how much I paid thinking I was getting 3 in the first place. I would have bought a package if I enjoyed the services. Not to mention, the laser lipo yielded no results. I felt the owner was Very unprofessional interrupting my Tx, especially when the very first treatment I had to provide my Groupon voucher so that should have been addressed then and there. You don't wait till my second or last Tx to then tell me there was an error on really your part since you should have made sure your advertisement was correctly labeled. That's called bait & switch and false advertisement which is illegal btw. This place offers many services under the sun, some make sense, others dont (such as their reiki). I did want to try other body services tho so it's unfortunate that it didn't work out. I am a long term type of customer. So even if it was a loss for her, she would have benefited from having me long term. I was looking to add a local spot for my Txs. Anyway, I decided to take my booty somewhere else. I see one person in the OC that I've been going to off/ on since 2010, and I am glad to have added Xclusive Spa as my local body contouring place. They're also in Long Beach & I just purchased a reasonable package with them So it worked out for me in the end. ****Update for the owners response: I did Not get any money back from Groupon. I Never even came back after that terrible experience, so I am not sure where you got your info from. I see how you did not address the fact that you interrupted my treatment and tried to bait and switch. Professionalism starts with acknowledging your mistakes. Lastly, I mentioned Xclusive Spa because that's where I ended up at, and I am happy there. So I want others to know that there are other options in Long Beach that offers reasonable prices on their services. For an example a package of 8 treatments with cavitation, RF, and wood therapy will run a person $650.00 on multiple target areas (they also have a better machine) I'm getting tired of the text messages from Miss New Booty about packages that Is hardly a discount. I'll start by saying when I got home from this facial my partner could not believe how smooth my skin was. He just kept commenting on how nice it felt and how supple it looked. I went here for a facial but had no idea what I actually wanted out of the treatment. Andrea was fantastic. She was funny, and nice. After talking a little bit about my skin she came up with a plan and decided on some treatments. She didn't try to upsell me but also let me know some options to really moisturize and smooth my skin. The treatment room was cozy. A better place to put my things would be my one piece of feedback. Jewel is great, I loved her facials but the business is shady l, I don't know what is it but I have been trying to get in touch with them but no one has yet responded. I missed one of my appointment and they are not accommodating at all instead they were rude and asked me to cancel my future appointments. They asked me to call back for refund coz account manager was out , next time I called the account manager answered and said the owner is not around so will receive a call back.
