Patient, knowledgeable, understanding, kind. Quick service, too! I took advantage of the recommendations of the lovely young woman who took my order and, boy, her suggestions were spot on! And, do yourself a favor and get one and/or all of the specialty drinks they have at the checkout counter. Ordered a breakfast burrito with combination of meat which was an up charge. I asked for half the portion of meat cause my local place I usually go to really packs it in there so I assumed the case here. Well there was pretty much no meat in my burrito and there was nothing but sausage in there. I literally opened it up. This place is a must go ! Women owned and they work hard. Cute location with awesome art work inside. Restaurant is very clean and spacious. Restaurant is run by wonder women as their sign says inside. They have all the Mexican beverages your heart desires. Now the food! Burritos are a very generous portions. Everyone at the restaurant had to, to-go their orders as the burrito's are very feeling. I thought my eggs and potato burrito would not be as filling as my husband's that had everything and oh boy was I wrong. I didn't even make it half way and had to tap out. I had Miss Tamale for the first time as a delivery order, so I can't speak to the ambience...yet. I'll definitely be coming in! I got a chicken taco, pork tamale, rajas tamale, and horchata. The chicken taco was good, pretty basic seasoning but a *lot* more meat than I expected. Very fresh and arrived still warm. The tamales were outstanding -- the masa was the perfect texture, and it was the ideal balance of masa to filling, and they were larger than expected. The rajas was spicy, the pork was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Definitely a standout. The horchata wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciate, and did taste homemade. The price for all this food was incredibly reasonable, so I'd say it's an excellent value. And I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu! read more

When you are looking for good tamales this is a good go to! Don't be turned off by the price as the tamales are massive! I tried the chicken one as well as a rajas tamal. Both were very good. I would have liked the chicken one to have some sort of salsa in it (green or red). They do provide salsa on the side which helped. Stopped by first thing in am because they were open. Very large burrito cut in half and shared with hubby. Food was hot and fresh. Unfortunately they use thick doughy tortillas and lots of undercooked hash browns as filler. Bacon was mixed into the eggs in very tiny chips, personally I prefer recognizable bacon for taste and presentation. I get it, it's cheaper for the establishment to do it this way but really impacts the taste and mouth feel. Chicken tamale was basically masa-where's the chicken? Both salsas were good but the green salsa was exceptionally delicious. Overall disappointing experience, not sure how this is on anyone's "best" of anything list. read more

We have been at the one in West Richland twice now. One to try the breakfast burritos and the second time to try their tacos and burritos. Can't say we are impressed with either experience. The size is huge (good) but the taste is very lacking. The pork tacos were so bland that we had to douse them in sauce. The asada burrito had so much rice in it and we threw away most of the burrito. The breakfast burritos similarly were very bland as well - including the chorizo one... The lady at the counter was good and polite but the second time, the male staff @ the check out tried to charge us extra for the 3rd taco even though it was Tuesday tacos! read more

All I can say was the flavor was outstanding and how they constructed it was amazing. We also had two tamales pork and chicken. They were the best tamales we have ever had. This is the WORSSST Mexican food I've ever had in my life. I'm from Southern California and literally live next to all these amazing taco shops and places that make tamales and they're the same price as this place and MUCH higher in quality. I think my first mistake was trusting my friend who is local to here about trying Mexican food in WA. But she insisted on this place being yummy so I was like okay why not. The masa for the tamales was decent but the inside filling with the chicken tasted zankha (Arabic word meaning rancid & unclean). It was NOT it at all. We took our food to a nearby park and I legit had a bite and spit it out. The beef tacos--I also spit those out. They were SO disgusting. The meat was Such LOWWW quality. I get wayyy better meat in SoCal for the same price/taco. The customer service here was good like the women kept asking if we had any questions, the interior is cute, and they don't use lard in their food. But honestly even with all that, the place is a one star to me bcuz of how nasty the food is. read more

As a lover of good breakfast burritos I just had to try this local spot that I have been hearing has some pretty amazing burritos. As soon as you walk in you are hit with art work on every wall from a local artist that just so happens to be available for purchase. A few tables for in house dining but not much as it seems to be really a "To-Go" type restaurant. The customer service was friendly and fast as I was there first thing in the morning, but I would recommend calling ahead for pick-up if you are not planning on dining in. Both of the tacos were pretty solid street tacos. Their horchata and jamaica tasted like they were from a packet mix. The rajas tamale was the best tamale we've had from a restaurant. As for the others, they were okay. We wouldn't recommend the chicken one because it's quite bland. read more

The food is very good, I do not think you will be disappointed and what other reviewers are saying is true. We are visiting family here and did not expect the food to be as good as back home in California, it is better than many. The art on the walls (everywhere) is interesting and attractive, worth the prices shown. But the best is the service that is the best. Not only do they great you as a friend, they continue to treat you that way! Pleasant and comfortable. I can usually find something that could be better, but the only thing that would be is to move out to the country, that Winter never came and sit around on sunny afternoons enjoying it all. read more
