Quality care and professional friendly staff!! I highly recommend this practice!! I trust my skin to them!

Doctors: 4.5 stars Office Staff: 1 star Wait times: 0 stars I've been a patient for many years and have visited both locations. I have always found the practitioners to be very good at what they do and I've gotten good care from them. Their office and desk staff is a whole nuther story. 80% of the desk staff have been absolutely awful. Extremely rude and condescending. Some will go out of their way to spread their misery to others. I don't know why people this rude and unhappy, who seem to despise their jobs, would stay in a position where they have to interact with patients and customers every day. I also don't understand why Dr. Guide or whoever is in charge here would allow this behavior to continue consistently for years. Again, I said 80%, because they do have a couple people who are very nice, helpful and seem to care about their jobs. Also, the wait times are ridiculous. Out of all the appointments I've had there, not even one was remotely on time. You don't wait long in the reception area. They come get you and place you in an exam room. And then, nothing. It's not uncommon to sit there for 45 minutes to an hour before the doctor even walks in. Never an explanation or apology. Just SOP. Something is clearly wrong with scheduling or management. Patients have lives too. I really liked seeing Kendra, and stuck around because of her, but now that she is leaving this practice, I plan on looking elsewhere. read more

Pretty unprofessional staff. Very disoriented assistants. Most of the time my charts or information was all out of wack every time I came in. And personally I felt that my dermatologist I believe Alyssa was rude and quick toned. Over the span of 6 months I had to switch 3 dermatologists, 2 times of which I wasn't notified that I was switching until after the fact. With that, I was told different things about my Accutane from each dermatologist, leaving me confused most visits since I had been receiving check ups and care from 3 different ones over 6 months. read more

I'm very happy that my doctor referred me to this dermatology practice. I've met with Nani twice now, and each time she is so warm and friendly. She really took the time to talk with me and listen to my concerns. Yesterday there was another PA, Ashley, with Nani at my appointment. She was also very kind and helpful. I found everyone at Dr. Guide's office very welcoming and helpful from being greeted by Alexis in the front office (San Clemente) to meeting with Araceli in the treatment room. I have seen 5 Dermatologists in South Orange County since 1995, and you have seen them advertise and they are in the top 25 physicians in south orange county, and I wish I had found Dr, Guide 20 years ago. Dr. Guide is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and sincerely cares for her patients, she is in the dermatology business not the skin salons and Botox fashion boutiques' alike many of her fellow physicians. I was in banking, and all my clients were physicians, CPAs, Attorneys and Dentist. You learn that all physicians are not as talented and skilled as she is. Dr. Guide is in the top 1% of her field, and I feel very fortunate to have her as my physician. read more

We were referred here by our pediatrician, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Despite having an appointment, we waited 30-45 minutes just to complete paperwork. I never even made it to the back to receive care because of how unprofessional the front staff was. The receptionist became visibly upset when I declined to check in on the tablet after noticing that the information was incorrect. As someone familiar with billing and insurance processes, I know how important it is not to have patients sign or agree to anything without accurate details and full consent. From that point on, I was treated with an unwelcoming attitude. Even after 30 minutes, they were still unable to correct my insurance information. I eventually chose to reschedule the appointment at their Rancho Santa Margarita location, hoping for a better experience. However, a negative front-office experience makes it difficult to feel confident in the care provided by the medical staff. read more

I received a service for my keloids and had an absolutely amazing experience! Nani, Mimi and Amber were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had questions about how the shot worked and Nani was so knowledgeable in answering my concerns while setting expectations. The shot was quick and the whole process was smooth. I greatly appreciated that Nani was able to get me in office even though I made my appointment only a day before. If you're looking for any service, definitely ask for Nani! This was my first time visiting this office. Nani the PA and her assistant were very friendly and provided excellent care. I have been to many dermatologists over the years, but I must say, Nani did the most comprehensive exam I have ever had. She really took time and looked carefully at every inch of my body. I needed a number of biopsies, and I barely felt pinpricks when she took samples. I have no reservations about returning to this office for follow up and further care.
